The lady at the register kept raving about the psychic and we were excited to hear about our future. Our psychic was Janine. She asked us many questions that I felt were things would help her to make assumptions and predictions about us and where our relationship is headed. She connected to my fiance because she had a boyfriend who was from the same area as him. She came up with all of these stereotypes about people from that area and none of them apply to my fiance. She seemed to spend most of the reading on him. The only thing she "predicted" for me was that I'm going to get pregnant this year. When coming to Sedona, I typically don't go to places on the Main Street because they tend to be tourist traps and generic. However, this particular store is different. They by far have the best selection of crystals and stones I have seen in Sedona. The lady who helped me (I unfortunately can't remember her name but she was petite with blonde hair in a low ponytail) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to new and full moon rituals. She provided me with insightful information that I previously hadn't read or known about and was able to guide me towards what items to best work with. If you think the above is a load of horse toss, than this might also be the shop for you. I fall into the latter category and was buying some magical wizard stones as a joke for a friend. What I appreciated was that nobody shoved any interstellar vortex nonsense down my throat. They let me know they were there and available if I had any questions, but then they left me alone to look around. And there really are some lovely stones and crystals in the shop, so independent of whether you fall into the "wealthy kept wives scratching for some small shred of meaning to justify their appalling lives of consumption by being exploited by new age snake oil sales people" category, or just buying a pretty rock for fun, you will probably find at least some of what you're looking for here. read more

Fantastic Store. This store rocks! Get it?! Its full of them. Every kind you are probably looking for, ones you're not looking for but need, and then ones you didn't know even existed. Great customer service. The ladies in here where definitely fun and informative. I found awesome pendants at even more awesome prices. This was a surprise, because finding pieces like that in L.A. will usually require you to contemplate the necessity of the purchase. Not here. Here it was more like, "okay, settle down - you probably don't need 50 necklaces." This is absolutely one of my favorite stores in Sedona. I loved this shop. The crystals all looked so happy and like they were clean and ready to go. It was a little expensive but considering the location, I was not surprised. I had a reading when I went there but can't remember who the reader was. She was amazing though. Gave me details that turned out to be correct a full year and a half later. It's a fun place to visit and you just feel good standing around in the shop. I called and did a phone reading today with Janine Miller and it was awesome. I had a list of questions I prepared to ask her but before I said a word she was bringing up the topics. She had very good insights and was a really accurate medium. I loved this place. Everything was so neatly organized and the jewelry was beautiful. I did purchase a beautiful necklace, but it did not come with a chain. Their silver chains were expensive and not my style so I'll use one I already have or find a new one elsewhere. All the purchases come with cards that explain the benefits of the different crystals, and the salespeople were very friendly and knowledgable. read more

I really liked my experience here. They wound me in to do a psychic reading when I was unsure and I ended up going an extra 10 minutes. A beautiful shop with a vast array of large and small stones and crystals. Beware: there is magic in this shop, and you will buy more than you intend to!! The stones are overpriced, but on the plus side, you can find specimens here that you can't easily find elsewhere, and there are little explanation cards available with each one. The staff is helpful, but the person who helped me with my 70 dollar order did not seem happy enough that I was spending my money there. Maybe next time I'll go across the street instead. read more

I live in Phoenix, I try to get to Sadona as many times as I can and wish I could live there but the real estate is crazy along with the property taxes so sadly can't live there for right now but maybe when I retire someday lol I discovered Sadona when I was in my teens I am now in my 30's it was by pure accident and my girlfriends and I was just coming back from a Vegas trip when we decided to drive through and I discovered this store. I told my friends I wanted to check it out. It kinda spooked me out at first I never been around stones or the whole new age thing. When I went in I was warmly greeted and the stones were omg amazing and I was drawn to a few like the amethyst and the money stone I forgot the name of it and the moon stone. I went home with them and kept them around my apartment and noticed really positive changes in my life right away and I had really great spiritual and positive dreams. It changed my life in a great way. So ever since I been coming back to this store for many many years now collecting chystals and white sage and I always have an amazing experience and it's a really neat place. I have to say one thing is I know everyone has to make a living but I lower the price just a bit on the readings I think they are a little over priced ..other then that this place is pretty neat and great. I really liked all of the crystals that this shop offers but had a horrendous experience with the staff. Upon entering the shop, two women were standing behind the counter, who did not say a word to me but rather were staring at me the entire time I was shopping. I kept getting waves of intrusive energy from them and tried my best to ignore them so I could pick some healing crystals out. After I selected the pieces I wanted, I walked up to the counter and the two women took the items and started ringing them up. They said not one word to me the entire time and actually continued to look me up and down throughout the entire process of paying for my items. It was more than unfriendly to say the least. This review is overdue since I went there a month ago and completely forgot to write a review. Sedona Crystal Vortex was awesome! I was in town with my twin sister & my mom & we stopped in at Sedona Crystal Vortex by fluke. The owners were so friendly and patient when explaining everything to us. I ended up buying a pair of crystal earrings after I had talked to them throughly. The best part in my opinion was the reading I had with Janine Miller. I had always wanted a reading so I decided to take a leap of faith and try it. I felt that she was spot on with some of the feelings I had in terms of recent decisions that I was making. I barely asked any questions, instead wanting her to talk, and she brought up past and current situations that I was in. Janine also talked about my future (in terms of a couple of years from this year) and I was surprised at what she told me. I hope those events occur because they sound awesome, but understand that her reading and what she picked up on can't take the place of my actions. Either way, I'm going to see how much of it comes true and then go back and visit her a year from now. I'm glad she happened to be there that day (since there are other mediums who work there); she was kind, gentle and respectful. On a side note, my twin sister and I were a bit surprised and both laughed when we learned a couple of weeks after our visit with Janine that she is from Ohio, seeing as we went to college there and mentioned it to her. She never mentioned that she was from there which didn't affect us nor bother us, although apparently it was a problem for another reviewer. This Crystal Vortex has a nice selection and one thing I liked is that they seem to have a spirit of cooperation there. I bought a couple crystals and when they didn't have what I was looking for they sent me to a place up the street called Infinite Light and Peace Place. this one star is because of the supposed "compassionate" intuitive Consetta. After spending more then $200 at the store on rocks, I had also purchase an "aura" photograph + consultation for $65. Immediately did not get the best vibe from her , should have known something was distorted about her "channel", then, she takes my picture on the camera with my head half in the frame... I asked to retake the photo , with a shockingly curt and nasty manner she said "really? " and that no , it was impossible because it was already printing. It was all to obvious would have been quite easy to do it again, really don't understand why she wouldn't have retook the photo it, was not even fully in the picture... anyway , I at that point said how I'd paid $65 and already did not like the negative energy. So, she went over to the front desk and told the far nicer cashier who had helped me with the stones to refund my $65. I was more then happy to get the money back. I'm open to new age concepts however even to begin with the aura photo is quite possibly a scam. Was interested to try but having been met with such an ugly attitude from this most uncompassionate, non-intuitive , was shocking, and sad. This Concetta should in no way be working with the public , not least as someone who people go to in a sensitive state for advice. She is the one who needs help. read more

What an amazing place this is, I was drawn to it from the first time that I visited this beautiful town called Sedona. The store location (now there are two) is perfect, the collection of crystals, books, CDs, DVDs, etc is great. They offer quite a few services. Customer service is their signature, the ladies are very welcoming and they make you feel at home. The Tarot Cards was my initial attraction, I've had readings with most of the ladies and each one of them offered me one advise or another that helped or made me have more awareness. However, the real spiritual impact happened with Ashiko. I've had the most amazing tarot readings, hypnosis and past life experience sessions with her. This place has become a second home to me so when I get an off day from work, I get in my car and go to Sedona to relax, get some positive Red Rock uplift and meet Ashiko and that's quite a treat. Love Concetta! I get readings from her at the beginning of the year to get a map of what to expect In the year ahead. I found her to not only be incredibly accurate but compassionate as well. At the end of the first year I did this, I reflected back on my notes from the reading and it was eerily accurate. Since then I have returned every year. Very very disappointed this place. While visiting Sedona I stopped into this shop to browse with my service animal. Another patron attempted to pet and distract my service animal. After explaining that willfully distracting a service animal is a crime the cashier very ignorantly told me "If you don't want people to pet your dog then you shouldn't bring him out into the public". I became very upset with this since my service dog is not for others to pet but to aid me with a disability I sustained from combat while fighting for this great nation. I again tried nicely to explain that willfully distracting a service animal is a crime and the same cashier began to mock me by saying " You take this no petting your dog seriously". I was further appalled to hear this since this employee only added insult to injury. I said why wouldn't I take it seriously? I mean the service animal is assisting me a disabled combat veteran. I wouldn't recommend goung in here after how they treat people with disabilities especially a disabled veteran! read more

While the jewelry was very nice, be careful about purchasing silver jewelry. For the price you pay (and the stamp inside of the ring), there is an assumption that you are purchasing silver. I was very happy with a purchase of a unique ring. However, my disappointment was far greater after seeing my ring finger turn green after a day of wear. This store had a great selection of crystals & stones at affordable prices. The woman who checked me out was very hospitable and informative. The only downside to one of my purchases - an Opalite cross - was that the hinge used to affix to a chain broke the first time I wore it. Being that I live 2,500 miles away, I couldn't return it once it happened when I returned home. I had a medium reading performed while I was there as well, which unfortunately I was not as impressed with. Kamin, while very sweet and gentle, didn't provide the experience I had hoped for. The information conveyed was very vague & I felt Iike she asked more questions of me, or had me perform more "self-reflection" then share adequate information during our session.
