Leaking A.C. units not up to date. Will not cool below 85 like said sometimes higher depending on which apartment you live in. Basically you have to keep your apartment a cave and not cook since it will only make your apartment hotter. 1980s-1990s fridge, stove, dishwasher, nothing is up to date. Not worth the rent requested and rent is up every contract renewal. Free for all parking even if you don't live here you can keep your vehicle parked here for months with no tow. Tow guy will just drive by slowly looking like he's working even when tags are expired. Roaches, ants, you name it will still be there. German cock roaches wont go away unless you clear out the whole building itself. Amenities Pool overflowing not correctly maintained. Children swim freely unsupervised, yelling and cussing. Dogs swimming and fur floating around water. Washrooms, Its laundry roulette, you never know which machine will break leaving your clothes soaked or unwashed. Dryers not drying or turning. Workout room, nice selection of weights, 1 cycle machine, and 1 treadmill worth using. Everything else is not worth what is considered extra for apartments. Water Bill. 1 bedroom apartments occupy 2 people on contract not so. You'll have 5-6 in a family in 1 paying for the upped water costs which is BS when you have 1 or 2 people in yours. read more

This is an awful place to live for too many reasons to list. We lived here for a year and had many rude run-ins with the office staff. When we moved out, they inspected our apartment and said everything was in good shape and we would be getting our security deposit back. Over a year later when I went to buy my first house, I ran a credit report and found out that they had later billed us almost $1500 to replace the entire carpet, sent a letter to some bogus address to cover their maximum legal obligation (according to the very impersonable office manager that I called about the issue) and then a month later sent the bill to collections. My perfect credit was destroyed because of these people and it is still costing me money now after several years. This place is a wreck and they target military people who PCS and can't come back to take them to small claims court. Anyone on base will tell you the same thing. Avoid this place, especially if you are in the military! read more

As newlyweds, this was our first apartment. It was a nice place. A little dated I suppose, but totally livable and affordable. We had one bedroom, one bathroom and a patio. The staff were really friendly and nice. If you asked to have something repaired it was done in a timely manner. There's a pool, a small gym, and an amenity center with wifi and a place to host parties or chill out. There are two laundry rooms but they're kind of unreliable. Albertsons is right next door so it's nice if you need to grab something real quick. One funny thing is that the buildings totally look like barns. read more

This review is lengthy- but honest. My husband and I lived at Sedona Ranch for 2 1/2 years. The reason we chose these apartments was because we had a limited time to find a place, they were conveniently close to my work, and they were one of the better complexes in San Angelo (not saying too much). We were excited to move into the apartment, because of course everyone was nice and building the place up to more than it was (ie: showing "model" apartments). The complex is obviously pretty old, and their recent "remodeling" was a joke. Paint can't cover up what needed to be done within the apartments. The apartments have old appliances, and are definitely dated and in serious need of upgrade. When we first moved in, the apartment was dirty. I mean, hair in the closet, dirt on the shelves, food behind the stove dirty. They had someone come in and re-clean the entire apartment. Over the time we lived there, there were multiple issues that required maintenance. From the day we moved in (rained that night), one of the living room windows leaked whenever it rained.. and I don't mean just a little drip. The maintenance would just put more silicone cocking over the cocking that obviously hadn't worked in the past, and continued to be a weak temporary fix. The wall was squishy, and obviously needed more attention than just some silicone. We also had flooding in our dining room on two separate occasions. You'd think the carpeting would be replaced... nah, they just brought in a big, super loud fan to dry it. The second time was particularly pathetic... padding was replaced only about a foot out from the wall, when at least 4 feet out was soaking wet. When I addressed the issue of possible mold, I was pretty much shrugged off (by the region manager at that!). What's funny about that is, while living there, I was sick with respiratory problems very often... and since we've left, haven't been sick since! The grounds are alright, but not very well kept (spider webs in the mail box area, trash on the ground). The amenities building is pretty nice, but it would be even nicer if the apartments matched. As far as the occupants, the staff doesn't keep a watchful eye on who is living there. There are people living there who are not on the lease (which I think is BS not only because it's not fair, not safe, and because the water is paid depending on how many people are on the lease- I don't care to pay for other people's water). The staff changes out so often, that the people in the office don't even know if you live there. The management is pitiful. If you want something done of a serious matter, don't bother talking to them. I would say specifics, but I'm sure they've heard it before. Our apartment was left wide open by maintenance as well. I mean, wide open, not just not locked. The staff's response was pretty much an uncaring "Sorry". The best of it all? When we moved out, they tried to charge us to replace the carpet due to pet odor (maybe what they were smelling was the smell of just cleaned carpet, or maybe the smell of the previous floodings!). They wanted just about $1000 for the carpet... REALLY?! The apartment was a measly 630 square feet, and at about 50 of that wasn't even carpeted. Give me a break. So anyways, they said if we did not pay within 30 days of our move out (about 12 days left when we received the letter), they would report the information to the credit bureaus. That really set me off. We sent a letter to the office, and the region manager of the complex, telling them were not paying the ridiculous amount requested (multiple reasons- flooding, carpet already at shelf life, etc), and if they reported this to the credit bureaus, there would be legal action. Apparently someone had their head on straight for a minute, because they removed the charge for the carpet... but being reasonable didn't last too long. The response we received was to pay for a fee for unauthorized pet, and to have the carpet cleaned (which we had already done). The funniest thing about this response was that they were now saying we had a cat in the apartment (I've been allergic my entire life). According to them, we had a dog, then we had a cat... they couldn't even keep their stuff straight when trying to screw someone over!! Not only that, but now they want us to pay to clean a carpet that had already been replaced?! I responded again, and again refused to pay their outrageous charges. We received our deposit back after that. They must have realized they were being ridiculous and unfair. SO happy to be out of there! They tried to screw over the wrong person. Don't let them do it to you! Take photos, keep track of maintenance requests, stay on them to fix things, and don't back down! They need to realize they cannot do this to people! read more

GO ELSEWHERE!!! This place is run down and a mess. The office staff doesn't stay longer than a few months, residents move out before the lease is even up. It's over priced for 1980's accomodations. My apartment smells bad all the time. The carpets are stained (I've had them cleaned when I moved in myself), the walls were never painted, the tiles in the bathroom are falling apart. This place is over priced for the quality!! You can get so much nicer for the same price. Everytime I have had an issue, it has taken weeks for someone to come in and fix it. They don't follow through on anything. There were supposed to be new washers and dryers in December 2014 and NOTHING almost April. The Laundry rooms are disgusting! During the ice storms they did not ice (have fun walking up and down the stairs), and they enforce no regulations except if you don't pay your rent. GO SOMEHWERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE. Very Bad Military Experience...Long But Please Read!!! We decided to live here because we didn't have time to do a lot of looking around and they accepted pets. They offer $0 deposit for military. We as well as everyone else were shown a mock (fake) apartment that looks really nice but may not be the one you move in to. The staff (All women) were nice at first but then they always have an attitude like they hate to see you coming in the door. We have paid on time for over a year and we got an unexpected TDY. We forgot to pay on the first of a month but called to let them know we put a check in the mail the same day. We noticed when we got back they gave us an eviction notice to move out in 7 days. What if we got in a car accident?....They didn't call or nothing. The main office said Oh, they are automatically generated so they DO NOT reward tenants that pay on time every month and/or they do not look at your record of paying rent. Where is the customer service? We will be notifying the housing office on Goodfellow so other military members will not have to go through this. This is a shame. Why we decided to move to a better place: 1. They raise the rent every 6 months even though nothing has improved in our apartment (started out $590 now $620 and if you don t resign $654 (market value yeah right) 2. If you stay on the bottom you can not stand on the patio when it s raining because they have slacks of wood for the up stairs patio and the rain comes through. One upstairs patio fell off while we were here hope no one got hurt. The ceilings are so thin you can hear the people upstairs walking, running, watching TV, opening and closing their front door, babies crying, etc. These are normal activity that we should not be hearing. 3. The laundry mat stays dirty and people are always posting signs about stolen clothes, baby blankets, stuff that has been in their family for generations. The machines are always in service for not working. The hot water is not hot so your clothes don't come out clean. 4. I have complained about people letting their pets run lose. ( "We are still trying to find out which apartments the pets are living at" ?) That s why tenants are suppose to file out paperwork stating what kind of pet, color, etc. Management should have looked it up but just bl3w me off. When going outside in the morning to go to work cats will be on top of your cars. I have seen people pour out dog/cat food to feed these lose pets. 5. Whenever we turned on the light and fan in the bathroom it would blow the breaker ( "It's nothing we can do about that." ?) 6. $300 for a pet deposit and you don't get $150 of that back for carpet cleaning it doesn't t cost that much to clean carpet that is how much it cost to replace it. 7. Their website says they close at 5pm which is a lie. I called at 4:30 and got the answering service. The answer service only passes on messages when they feel like it. (The people upstairs were having a party and flooded the toilet so it was raining in our bathroom. No service until the next day.) 8. Every time you go to the main office it is different people working there no wonder they can't keep tenants because they can't even keep workers. They make me feel like I'm interrupting their day. It's good to know I m not the only one that noticed this. (Read the other ratings!!!) 9. The dumpsters are always over flowing with trash so be prepared to take your trash back home until they empty them. 10. You pay your water depending on how much water everyone else uses. Five people moved upstairs and I'm pretty sure not all of them were on the lease so if they use more water it will be adding to your bill as well. We were gone for two months and still had to pay a water bill. 11. The windows..it's like not having any. The cold air comes in and hot air goes out in the winter and visa versa in the summer causing your AC/Heating bill to be high. 12. If you plan to relocate make sure you sign the paperwork or they will force you to stay another 30 days. But they will evict you within 7 days...is that legal? 13. Called and left a message with the Manager haven't gotten a return call. Bad business! 14. They will leave little notes on your apartment during holidays about how important you are and how they value you as a tenant but they can't call you back? They have 0 customer service and are totally fake. 15. They come in and spray for pest ever other month. One month I couldn't t believe they came in and tracked dog poop on the carpet. How can you do that? 16. They have a shiny new main office...I guess that's why they keep raising the rent. They should have used that money to improve the actual apartments where people live. Every time you go in there they have it decorated so nice...this also shows what they do with their time. Dog poop never gets cleaned up. Requested for our balcony door to be fixed months ago and never got done. Wouldn't accept our online payment claiming it was a problem on our end but the bank said otherwise. I called the office and they told me everything was fine. Got an eviction notice even though they said it was fine. Charged me $100 extra for rent even though we tried to pay on time they just didn't accept it. Showed them our receipt for the original payment and claimed it wasn't valid. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Staff is incredibly rude and not helpful in any way. Grounds are nice but poorly maintained. Trash and dog poop everywhere. Tenants are worse than staff. Apartments sound like they're not insulated at all because you hear everything going on outside and in adjacent apartments. Appliances are old and break frequently. Every time I walk out of the apartment there is a new foul smell coming from something. Worst place I have ever rented by far. Parking is ok for cars but trucks can't fit so they take up multiple spots which makes finding a spot impossible. I have rented in many places and never needed to get out of a complex so badly.
