We stayed in The Blvd Phase 1 in a single bedroom apartment. These were beautiful apartments with spacious living areas and a pet-friendly and family-centered environment. They're also military-friendly. We never had any problems while we lived there. The staff was also very friendly and willing to answer any questions/concerns. What originally drew me to the Blvd Apartments was that the pet weight limit was up to 75lbs. Most apartments don't allow pets higher than 15-50lbs. Then I was sold once I saw pictures of the apartments and learned more about the place. The community was gated and every apartment had double deadbolt locks on the front and patio doors. There was a community pool, shaded area for the mailboxes, a private fishing pond, walking paths, a playground, private patios for each apartment (which a storage closet on the patio), and many dog areas scattered around. Every now and then, the front office would host events for residents to get out and socialize. In the front office/clubhouse, they had a movie room, billiards table, and free-to-use business center. There was also a fitness center and laundry area near the main building. These apartments were definitely worth the price for its safety, cleanliness, staff helpfulness, and spacious apartments! If we ever have to go back to San Angelo, I would definitely choose The Blvd Apartments again! read more

Everything....Main office has no clue what's going on and no one seems to have the authority to do anything. Gates never close and the excuse is always waiting on parts. If I were to do it all over again, I'd save the money and look elsewhere read more

There are much nicer places to stay in San Angelo that are more affordable. I thought they were luxury.....not at all!! The walls are thin here and you will hear EVERYTHING. The gym onsite is missing weights, likely never cleaned. The pond is absolutely disgusting. The dog parks are very disappointing, literally just dirt and dog feces. The parks smell terrible. They allow any pets......they don't keep anyone accountable. This apartment complex doesn't maintain their property. The way they care for the complex is a reflection of how they address concerns with the residents, simply uninterested and could care less. Do yourself a favor and go some place else. read more

Don't move here!! The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything! And I mean everything, from your neighbor's private conversations to their television playing. The property itself is in terrible condition. The fishing pond was a huge disappointment. The dog parks are disgusting. They smell of garbage and dog feces, as the dog parks are right next to dumpsters. There is also no grass for the dogs to enjoy as the dog parks are just dirt and dog feces. We moved into the BLVD almost 3 months now and while we are happy with our apartment we do feel like the community amenities and appearance could be WAY better. These apartments are labeled "luxury" but fail to keep up with the overall look and functionality of the community and amenities. In the resident handbook there's a strict pet policy to pick up after your pets or DNA testing will be done and you will be charged accordingly- I feel as if this is a lie. Everyday we are constantly coming across so much dog feces in the grass and even the sidewalks! There is minimal grass on the property and at that most of it is dead and filled with sandburs/ stickers that poke our dogs paws. Since being here for the 3 months I have only seen the sprinklers used once. I have called to complain about residents blatantly not picking up after their dog and even having dogs off the leash which is a huge safety concern for me as our dog has been attacked twice (@ previous apartments) and I'm in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and being put in a huge safety hazard if someone's dog does attack. I feel as if the office does not take your complaints seriously they just try to sympathize enough to agree with you and get you off the phone. There was one residents dog who did run up to our dog and got violent and no apology was made. The pool that we live next to has a TON of algae in it and it's wild that it was left to even get to that point, we've never seen a pool in that condition. The gyms look as if people are stealing equipment and being unhygienic not wiping the equipment down after use or placing it back where it belongs. The pond in the center of community is also just gross, looks black and filled with algae that just draws so many bugs too it especially at night- we can't even walk our dog near that area as there's so many roaches infested in that area. Overall, there's many aspects of fault on the residents who live here who just have a disregard for other people and keeping where they live NICE but I also do place fault on the BLVD management for not enforcing rules and regulations to strive to keep the appearance and reputation of the community in high standard. I do think the maintenance people do their best to take care of any needs very quickly so we have only good things to say about them. Overall, we will finish out our stay here but I don't think it's the best quality of living. Just want to give a heads up to anyone who does care to live in a nice community with a considerate people. read more

Very nice apartments! Piss poor management. Prices go up often, no subleasing or options to exit lease early. When I moved in place was not ready and not very clean. Leasing staff is short, rude and not nice to mist residents. Be prepared for being called out while at the pool by your name for drinking out of a can. Maintenance department is rude as well and slow to fix stuff if they are able. Be careful on move-out, they will keep deposit and charge $45 carpet cleaning fee's, $205 cleaning fee and more. I hired a cleaner and cleaned the apartment and was still hit with many fee's and 50 or so zoomed in pictures showing dirt in the strangest places. The two pools are nice just not often very clean, many times pools are closed for unknown reasons on weekends. My advice do a walk thru on move in and move out. Sign a longterm lease for lowest price, don't expect a high level of customer service and be aware of water and sewage fee's, car port fee's $30 or so, and rent prices nearly as high as some Austin apartments by all means. read more

Pros -nice modern spacious apartments -granite countertops, vinyl flooring, wooden blinds -includes washer & dryer Cons -unfriendly staff -black appliances such as fridge, microwave, fridge (if you are giving upscale look then give stainless steel appliances) -apt keys, mailbox keys are dependent on number of people staying in the apartment as opposed to standard 2 apartment keys & 2 mailbox keys. If you need more keys, you need to make them at your cost -gate remote is $25 NON-REFUNDABLE....when I leave I would return the gate remote like I would return the apt & mailbox keys -lack of signage around the apartment complex. Buildings 7-14....which way are they??, signage to the phase1 & 2 office & mailbox?? -too pricey & controlled by unreasonable rules Because they have a monopoly of the best apartments they make their own rules!! Creek 27 are BRAND NEW MICRO HOMES which will be good & healthy competition for such a dominating apt complex! read more

Me and my fiancé lived at the blvd the people above us were loud everything else was pretty good... except for the part we're we moved out me and my fiancé cleaned the apartment till it looked how it did when we moved in and not to long ago we went back to make sure everything was ok when we dropped of the key everything looked great the blvd decided to charge us more and charge us for a paint job when the walls didn't even need a paint job read more

DO NOT move into these "luxury apartments". We lived at the BLVD Apartments for a little over 7 months and were very displeased. This complex lacks parking as on many different occasions we arrived back past 8 o'clock and there were no parking places available for residents. They do offer covered parking spots if you want to pay an extra $30 a month, but you shouldn't have to pay extra money to have a spot guaranteed for you. I've lived in many different apartment complexes throughout my college years and I've never met a more impolite and discourteous leasing office. Kelsey was less then disinterested and very rude any time we came in with questions, called, or had maintenance requests. It took a little over a month to get our maintenance request handled. Every time we called to inquire about it they assured that it would be handled the next day in which it never was. The apartments were aesthetically pleasing but weren't very well made. The walls and doors were paper thin so you could constantly hear what was going on outside and kids screaming. Upon move-out we cleaned and vacuumed the apartment to make sure we left the apartment better than we found it and somehow we were still charge $150 cleaning fee and a $45 vacuuming fee. Mind you, this is $45 to vacuum a little more than 100 sq. ft. of carpet. We were charged an additional $40 to replace "drip pans" that were clean and fully functioning. When I called to ask for an explanation Kelsey said "Every time someone moves out we have to replace all of the drip pans". I've never heard of anything like this, but it seems like a way to take all of our deposit to cover their make-ready costs for the next tenant. Save your money and rent anywhere but here. read more

Great place to live! We have lived here for a year and have enjoyed our temporary stay in San Angelo. The ladies in the office are always courteous, friendly and welcoming. The complex is always kept clean and alluring. Anytime we have needed to put in a maintenance request they were very prompt and took care of the issue in a timely manner and always with a very friendly demeanor. I have never written this before, but be warned! The management office is just terrible -- they will ignore signed contract -- repeat, signed contract. They misinform legal rights of tenants. When you finally realize that the apartment is not worth your money, and when they promise to return your deposit, again, they ignore their promise. You will never be safe with your contract, the information you get from them is not accurate, and they will break promise and not return your money. Can they do that? The owner must know how bad the management team is -- in the end, he is responsible. read more

Do not move to the Blvd Apts... or at least to Phase 2.. I have been on wait list for 5 months to get a reserved parking spot. I cannot find a parking spot close to my apartment. The other night I parked in handi-cap (late at night) and I leave at 7am because if not i would of had to park 3 buildings over. And the cop that lives there gave me a $500 ticket because another resident turned me in. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU CAN GET A RESERVED SPOT. the bugs are awful and I've killed 3 scorpions! Not renewing my lease. The staff that works here is great but there is nothing they can do to help with parking situation. read more

Stayed here 8 months from August-April 2016. Was able to get a unit in Phase Two and this was by far one of the nicest places I've lived in. Everything was brand new and the amenities offered throughout the complex were great. Things were still being worked on since Phase Two was still a work in progress but the staff did a great job in keeping us up to date. Speaking of the staff, they were extremely friendly and were a pleasure to talk with. Pet fee was reasonable and they also had dog cleanup stations spread out throughout the complex. Covered parking is a must have IMO with the hot Texas sun so I would recommend paying the extra $20 or so a month to get one, also nice to know you won't have to fight for a spot. It's definitely one of the pricier options in San Angelo but you definitely get what you pay for. read more

We lived in Phase 2. Lots of broken things counter tops, drawers, etc. We were told nobody lived in building 10. Upon moving in we found curses wrote on top of cabinets. Then the truth came out that the contractor's stayed there. The curse said KILL OR BE KILLED. my daughter attempted suicide in 1015. They also refuse to mow had to complain before anything was done. The backside is dead along with a 1/3 of the trees. The furniture left behind at dumpsters never gets taken care of. I asked why they respond they're not trash company. Be prepared for a rant: Because I was so excited to move in to my new apartment TOMORROW, I decided to stop by and take a look at it. After the leasing agent opened the door, I realized something wasn't quite right. The counters seemed a little low and there was a microwave on the counter instead of above the stove, like the pictures and the model apartment. Sure enough, she informed me it was a handicapped apartment. Now, please keep in mind I already made all the arrangements to move in the next day: the movers, all of my stuff is packed, made an appointment to install my internet, everything. They didn't realize it was a handicapped until a few days ago (first, how do you not know this?!) and didn't bother to call me. I already signed my lease and explained that I did not agree to this. I didn't even get an apology!! Their only remedy was to offer the model apartment which was smaller than the original. WTF? All I ask for is a little bit of customer service. Own your screw up and do your best to fix it. They didn't even offer the next available apartment. Am I crazy for being pissed off?! I will never recommend The Blvd apartments in San Angelo. Things always happen for a reason. I was able to find another apartment and the women that helped me at The Vistas at Red Creek not only apologized for the screw up of the other apartment complex, but they worked very hard to make it possible for me to have a home in about a week when they were all booked.
