I'm really shocked by some of the reviews for this business. It seems to be a concerted effort to really trash this business with one star reviews. That is a shame because there are some super dope t shirts here. The owner, Steven, was kind, good humored, and helpful in recommending particular t-shirt designs. My friend and I were pretty indecisive and we were at his store near closing. But we didn't feel rushed and Steven was never rude, or yelled, or kicked us out like the other (likely fake) 1 star reviewers stated. My friend and I loved the shirts that he recommended! By the way, Stephen is a graduate of UC Berkeley, which is my alma mater. Except this guy is a genius, he majored in physics and minored in applied math. If you are interested at all in spirituality, especially from a physics perspective, engage in conversation him and he really lights up. It's obvious that he's passionate about these subjects. Ask him how he came up with his formula about Love+Care = understanding. Now that's the kind of math that I like! An Asian lady reviewer accused him of being racist and complained about a his gun in a hip holster. I'm Asian and I never felt threatened by him or the fact that he feels need to protect himself. Also, that Asian lady may want to look up gun laws in AZ where open carry is legal. Why judge a business owner for exercising his second amendment rights and protecting himself and his business? That lady just sounds like she had a personal vendetta against him and took something personally. It's none of her business that he chooses to be licensed to carry his firearm openly. Some people just complain too much, but to accuse somebody of racism is really serious and harmful. Again I never felt any racist vibes from this gentleman. I felt his passionate interest about spirituality and how it relates to physics and geometry. He can be very intense with his interests and that is a positive for me. I'd ignore the fear mongering 1 star reviews on here by overly sensitive and triggerable people, who expect to be waited on hand and foot by a business owner just because they are a customer. My daughter and I walked into this tshirt store and she picked out a shirt and asked me how much it was because she wanted to buy it. The store owner replied "It's too expensive! Everything in this store is too expensive" and did a shoo get out hand gesture and told us to go to another store and that he knows our kind. I asked him if there was a problem... he said nope! It's a sad day in America when you have to explain to your daughter who is a 3rd generation Asian American, why he did that and what he meant by this? I'm not going to sugar coat it... he's a racist, and because of our skin color, we weren't welcome in his store. Some people really suck! I wish she didn't have to experience that and see how ugly some people really are on the inside. This coward wanted to make sure we saw his Glock on his belt. We saw so many bad reviews with people experiencing similar incidents. Funny thing is... the five star reviews all came from Caucasians. All the one star reviews were from people of color. The owner was amazing, he screen printed names on T-shirts for me and had it done within a few hours with last-minute notice. I was very pleased and surprised to see his artwork and original artwork at that, on very high quality soft cotton tees once I was in the store. I also found his creative suggestions for my t shirts very helpful. His shirts are wonderful, and cool. not like your normal tourist t shirt shops in Sedona. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT! The owner of this store is completely UNHINGED! I wish I would have read the reviews prior - EVERY single negative review was my experience with the owner. I went into this store to purchase a sweatshirt for my daughter. I found a style and was looking through sizes, the owner insisted on finding the size. As he was looking through, I asked if it was 100% cotton or a blend, he said "what does it matter if it feels good". Ok, whatever. They didn't have the size I wanted in that particular color so I started looking through another stack of sweatshirts in a different color. He said what are you doing? I said I thought I would look for another color, he said I'll look for it, I said it was fine I can do it, he said I prefer to, I said ok. Then he totally lost it and said better yet, leave my store. I said I wanted to purchase the sweatshirt, he said no and told me to leave. It was insane. He was carrying a gun tucked into his waist and made sure it was visible to me, definitely not someone to challenge or confront. This individual has serious mental issues and certainly should not be carrying a firearm. Sedona police need to have this guy on their radar, he's a future national news story. read more

If you know who the "Soup Nazi" is on the show Seinfeld, the owner of this store is definitely the "Shirt Nazi". I've never experienced anything like this in my life. If you want a shirt from his store - a) don't touch anything. Let him get the shirt for you. b) don't bring up what the material the shirt is made out of. c) don't ask what the price is. Instead, point to the shirt, say your size, let him get it, don't make any other conversation, pay for the shirt, take two steps to the left, take receipt, and walk out of the store. Today my brother and I went to the store to find some cool t shirts. I actually thought a lot of them were pretty funny. I pointed out one to my brother was like look at that one (my dad would've like it) i was thinking about getting something for my dad. Anyways, he comes up to us and goes "looking for anything in particular" and i said no not really (was just looking for a funny shirt for my dad) and he goes "alright have a good day!" And shooed us out of the store. And then he started using his hands to shoo my brother out of the store. I was SHOCKED. i know a lot of people here are saying he's rude to people of color, he is RUDE to everyone!!! But i am not discrediting them at all, just pointing out he's not a nice person. We were verbally accosted and then threatened by the store owner here. My partner and I came in and began to look around. This went on for about 10 minutes, without any sign of staff in the shop. That's no problem--we figured they must be busy and so we browsed on our own. Suddenly, the owner (an older, tall man with grey hair) appeared and began barking at us to leave. We asked why and he refused to answer (I assume it's because I'm very obviously Jewish, given the anti-Semitic signs I noticed on my way out). He also made sure to show us the gun he was carrying on his hip several times. I visited sedona 2 months ago back in May and it was the first time i have EVER felt, threatened, and belittled by a store employee in my entire life. I have visited Sedona many times previously and have never seen this store before. The impression i received was extremely unprofessional, pathetic, and i wouldn't want anyone to ever experience it. The employee had very very unprofessional and conflicting T-shirt designs displayed on public property for everyone to see. I checked the website later and noticed they were not on the website so they're trying to cover this up. When i saw the photos of these graphic T-shirts i was disturbed, shocked, and disgusted. My friend and i decided to take photos and videos of these shirts because we could not believe our EYES!! the employee then proceeded to come outside of the store by us and display his gun on his hip and stared at us until we left. I understand everyone has opinions but the way he approached us was completely unacceptable. I will be contacting corporate and other city officials about this issue. My wife and I were blown away by the service and disrespect we received today. After looking through the comments it looks like we haven't been the first. We are on vacation enjoying our afternoon out looking for some shirts and gifts. I found a shirt that caught my eye, my wife looked at a few different shirts for a few minutes. The owner came up to us and said "you have one minute left to make a decision, I have to go up stairs to print something." After me staring at him (speechless) in disbelieve for about 5 seconds, he looked at the shirt I had in my hands and said "if you don't want to buy that I don't care, I'm done" we immediately turned around and walked out.
