I had a great experience at Seed Atlanta. I recently picked up a few plants directly from the owner, Campbell, and the experience was just as good as you'd hope. Campbell was welcoming, knowledgeable, and has such great energy--you can tell there's real passion behind what they're building. She even had her famous espresso martinis, which just added to the whole vibe and made the experience feel even more elevated and fun. The space itself feels thoughtful and community-driven. It's not just a plant shop, it's an experience rooted in intention and connection. Everything felt curated, from the selection of plants to the overall atmosphere. I went for the plantini event. My suggestion is to get there early! We waited in line for about 20min before we could get inside. Our ticket included one plant from the middle of the room and one espresso martini from the bar ( non alcoholic drinks were available too). This place was packed. There were a few vendors there as well selling ox tail plates dessert etc but it was down a narrow hallway which made it hard to navigate. Campbell was the sweetest she gave us a bag for our plants that also had a card with care instructions inside. I got two tickets for me and my friend and the total was 33.80 with taxes which I think was a pretty good deal for our first plant and a drink. read more

I was there this past Sunday for this month's plantini event. For $15 you get a plant and some espresso martinis. There was great energy there and a lot of people showed up. There were also a lot of vendors there selling some interesting things like sea moss drinks, hot sauce and permanent jewelry. Everyone who worked there was really nice and approachable. I can't believe I didn't find out about this place sooner!!. Not only was I in search of a plant for my new place, but that fact that this place also comes with a vibe? Was a great touch! They were having an event and had a great deal that just couldn't be passed up! It was $15 tickets that included a free plant and as espresso martini, can you really say no to that? Anywho, when we walked in, they had a DJ in there and it was such a dope atmosphere. The "free" plants that came with the ticket were located in the middle, and you had the option to buy other plants surrounding that area. There was so much to select from it took me forever to decide. I finally landed with the Peperomia plant. I absolutely LOVE that they provide a "plant care" card when you purchase tour plant. Because as a first time plant mom, if I didn't have proper direction I probably would've ruined the plant within days of getting it. I met the owner she was SO sweet and gave amazing service. Everyone else who worked there was really sweet as well. This is going to be my go-to for plants from now on. Black owned plant shop in Atlanta! It is an odd location to get to. You tell the valet you're going to the back then go to the brown building in the back, walk inside and around a corner and you will see plants and the shop. There's no sign outside or anything. She has plenty of plants, is very friendly and usually has sales on social media and those plants can go QUICKLY!! I'm ready to start a jungle but I have to keep my current plants alive first before adding more. read more

Found this location on social media. We used Google maps to locate. It was good directions but questionable once arriving. We had to use a pic of the "outside" to make sure we were at the correct spot although the address was on the building. I would suggest maybe some type of signage on the outside. Didn't seem like you can plaster on the building but we did see other removable signs for other places there. It would be helpful. Or maybe a sign near entrance of plaza just for good measure. Wanted to call to make sure we were in correct location; couldn't locate a number. So you may want to message them prior to arrival if you have any questions. It was a nice spot though. I was looking to add to my other plant babies. There were Many plants to choose from. The lady there was attentive and helpful. Prices were decent/reasonable dependent upon the type/species. First of all, a lot of these products are overpriced!!!!! I ordered 4 plants from SeedAtlanta on 04/24/24. Plants "allegedly" shipped on 04/29/24. Package received on 5/12. Label was created however parcel service advised they did not have the package also no update on the website when I used the tracking number provided. I will say that the sellers communication at first was a 9/10 but has quickly become a 0/10 as I have not heard anything regarding the items that I received after reaching out multiple times. They ran an awesome 40% off sale that was promoted by plant enthusiasts social media influencer "Paige" who has a huge following so I was like ok cool I'm comfortable ordering from this company since it was promoted by a reliable source. WRONG! 2/4 plants were completely dead. All 4 plants dry with soil falling out of the pots. No form of protection in the box to prevent as much damage as possible. My mother in law also ordered plants from this company and got the same results. I'm so disappointed and embarrassed because I recommended a few other people to order plants from this company (not sure if they did). $250 later I have 2 dead plants 1 in plant ICU and one is surviving (after a repot) If you go get your plants in person then you will probably be ok. But if you're considering ordering online, please be aware of the lack of shipping experience!! read more
