My personal initiative is to learn and grow, experience new things, and try and make a difference in this life. Reiki seemed to fit all my criteria...I'd had wonderfully transformative reiki sessions with Sharna years ago. So I did it. I took Reiki 1 with her in Santa Monica, CA- it was fabulous!! Just a phenomenal experience, her warmth, small class setting, the attunements. All incredible stuff. Fast forward one year to 2016. It's time for me to get real with this personal committment I made to "be the best person I can be". "Put your money where your piehole is, gurl.", I say to myself. Sharna has now moved to Santa Fe, but given how often she's in San Diego, it's not a problem. I can travel to San Diego for my Level 2. Then I read on her blog that Santa Fe is this energetic vortex and if you're sensitive, you're going to feel it. Hmmmm...very intriguing. What the heck- I log on to Southwest Airlines and I've got --Free mileage. Check. Free place to stay, check. Signs from the Universe are pointing to Santa Fe, I go with the flow! Arrive in Albuquerque, hop on Sandia Shuttle (costs $30 to downtown Santa Fe, easy peazy). WOW!! She wasn't kidding about the energy. By the time we were on the outskirts of Albuquerque, my arms and legs were 'buzzing'. It was like this on/off the entire weekend! Arrived at Sharna's office- just beautiful, classic Santa Fe style...large reception area, lovely bathroom (given how often you have to wash your hands and crystals, this was great!), separate treatment room where class was held. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. Great group of women. Totally bonded with them...such a wonderful experience. So, what's the difference with Level 1 and Level 2, I can only speak for myself. But, I can say after my L2 attunement, it was as if an internal switch got flipped to the "ON" position. I INSTANTLY could feel energy, chakras, the whole bit. And long distance reiki...(which has always seemed so 'smoke and mirrors', except for the fact that I've had it done on me and it works), but that's beside the point-- Holy crap! I COULD DO IT!! Just as if the person was in front of me. Can you say blown away? The one thing that I really wanted to happen happened. I'm jealous how everyone talks about 'connecting with their spirit guides' and try as I might, I can't. Well, it happened. Sharna saw him standing behind me, his hand on my back, helping me direct the flow of energy on to my classmate. Sharna told me he was there, and if I wanted, she would help me connect a 'bridge' through meditation to reach him. Helloooo, did I ever want it!!! On our last day, after class had ended and we received our certificates, Sharna enabled a connection. I don't have words...My heart felt like it was going to explode with love for this other being (my son from a past life). Simply incredible. I'll never forget it as long as I live. After one remote session with Sharna, I noticed significant improvements in my health and well-being. I was in awe since never before had I considered that my physical ailments may have been intertwined with my energy field's state, much less any past life traumas. Sharna is a healer in a class of her own. I have received reiki and other modalities of energy healing, and Sharna's work stands apart: 1. She is clearly intuitive, and easily senses underlying issues, blockages with a level or accuracy that is uncanny. This combined with reiki makes for some really amazing healing. 2. She works on many levels - spiritual, physical, mental, and I come out of the sessions feeling balanced and calm, no matter what intensity the session actually had. 3. I feel that Sharna works with a positive love balsam, that infuses what she does. This helps address the difficult dark places and physical tensions, and somehow brings it to a warm place of healing and peace. 4. I have worked remotely with Sharna. THAT IS AMAZING. When visiting friends in Santa Fe last September, I was gifted with a healing session with Sharna. Little did I know how life changing this encounter would be... For several years I've worked with various alternative practitioners to remedy long-standing gut issues. While I did experience some improvement, progress was incremental but frustratingly slow. Then I met Sharna, a very special person who truly embodies love, compassion, wisdom and joy. Her intuitive gifts were remarkable in how well she comprehended my situation. This review is for Sharna Langlais. A friend of mine here in AZ was referred to Sharna and had a great session she shared with me and several friends. She highly recommended Sharna for a distance Reiki Session. I practice Reiki also, and love to connect with others in the industry, so I decided to call. I enjoyed the way Sharna conducted her session. I often have a protective energetic shield around me which I left up in the beginning to make sure I was comfortable with the energy. Sharna led a meditation calling in helpers and guides and began surveying my energy. I was pleased to find that I could connect with her energy and it felt safe and relaxing as she moved through my energy field. I don't just hand out 5 star reviews, but if I could up Sharna's star-power rating to 10 stars I would! My reiki sessions with Sharna still has a lasting impact... over a month after we met for our first. The past year and a half has been the toughest I've ever experienced, both emotionally and mentally. Having been to a handful of mental health professionals during that time, I have to honestly say it wasn't until I met with Sharna that I was able to feel a shift in perspective, a new appreciation and understanding of my life, and a gentleness with MY healing process. I didn't really know what reiki was 6 months ago when I had my first session with Sharna but it has been transforming. She is extremely intuitive, skilled, and compassionate and creates a perfect environment for trust and healing. Her insights revealed areas in my life that needed mending and she gave me simple but effective tools to work with. Sharna is amazing! She did reiki sessions with my daughter (age 11) to help her understand her fears. She offered techniques to help her clear her room of any negative energies that my daughter was aware of. Also, Sharna offered several techniques to help my daughter to own her energetic power and space. Sharna introduced her to her past lives and spirit guides in a very age appropriate way. I have had a couple of sessions with Sharna for distance Reiki. I could tell immediately that she was such a caring person. She walked me through everything she was doing and explained everything in great detail. I truly feel she has a great gift to help people and takes your questions and concerns seriously.
