I returned one month later to meet with Kylie again, and again I received my medication. No review or discussion of the amount of weight I had lost. I showed up for my third appointment on October 11th, paid my copay and waited about 10 minutes. I was called back by the nurse, and as I was about to step on the scale, I was told not to, that I didn't qualify for their program, and was told so last time I was there. I was not told this, and they looked at my chart to make my most recent appointment. I was flabbergasted that they were abandoning me right in the middle of my weight loss journey. I was embarrassed as I was escorted back out to the front desk to receive my refund for the copayment that I had just made. I felt like I was being punished for being successful with my weight loss.

I arrived at 9:30am today and was greeted by a young lady who was very polite. After a brief tour I asked her about using the recovery room and she walked over to speak with the owner. He said it was only available to members. I then showed him the BioFit website Free Consultation offer and he said the tour is the free consultation. I was shocked and told him that I thought the wording was very misleading and he argued that it isn't and nothing is free. Spent the majority of my life in the hospitality industry and this was a horrible experience. As I completed this review in the parking lot, the owner came and knocked on my car window. He said I just read your review and continued to argue about the Free Consultation offer. He then added some profanity and said that BioFit is not a corporate gym and that he offers personalized coaching.

And I really only have 30 lbs that I want to lose. And yes, I've tried intermittent fasting, counting calories, counting carbs, macros, etc. one of the best things about this program is she tells you what you SHOULD eat, not exactly how many calories you are LIMITED to. AND she gives you the most amazing recipes! If you don't want to have to make food from the recipes she gives you (which have all been SO yummy, you can purchase store snacks like cheese sticks & beef jerky, or there is an entire shop full of meal & snack options for purchase. I'm kind of cheap, so my best friend and I food prep together once a week, and it's great! My favorite meals are jalapeño poppers, white bean chicken chili (great in instant pot or crock pot!), and chia pudding. Oh, and there is this recipe with flank/skirt steak that is AMAZING! Can't think of the name right now. More on what I know about the program - she's a Nurse Practitioner, so she is able to prescribe the injectable medications for people if necessary, and she said your insurance might cover it if you meet the insurance's criteria. But if you want to do it with just the program, it's TOTALLY doable! I kind of think of it like Weight Watchers, but all of the work is done for you! No counting/limiting your calories.
