He and his crew worked very hard and with expertise and efficiency. They completed the job in a timely manner and were a pleasure to have around. This wall should stand for generations to come. He also cleaned and repaired our stone paths and patio and, when the jobs were done, he reseeded and put down straw so that the grass filled in completely. A great value for the price.

Mike is great. The guy who is the "customer service" is terrible. He's grumpy and mean. He just called me after a year, badgered me about service and then hung up on me. I asked what number they had called because I hadn't received any calls and wanted to start there. He said that didn't matter. What mattered was I going to have regular service. My door bell rang and my dog started barking and I said I don't know. But of course I need my lawn mowed... I'm just a diy gardener and was contemplating a different path. He made that choice easy! I had a great experience with this company last year and planned to continue with them. However, he is not a good front man to ANY company. I am posting this in hopes that the guys who do the actual work learn of his terrible behavior. I even tipped the crew and gave them a gift for the holidays.

He has been demeaning to me EVERY TIME that I've spoken with him about even the smallest things. Like he's too busy to be bothered by my meaningless questions about my property. The way they do business is terrible. They charged my next door neighbor one price, & then charged me nearly $100 more for the same thing, for the SAME SIZED YARD. When I called to inquire about the price difference bob was nasty and abruptly hung up on me, or at least he thought he did. I heard him call me a few derogatory curse words and then tell someone whom I assume was in the room with him, that he didn't know how they were going to pay their employees that coming week. I was disgusted and hung up. Pretty ridiculous! They charge out the butt, for a mediocre service at best. Most of their employees reek of marijuana and at least two of them were smoking as they pulled into my driveway on one occasion - not cigarettes. Bob JR is a liar, and a thief in his business. He treats his employees like dogs. Always demeaning and treats them like they're idiots. Talks down to them, when they're really the only ones who knows what's going on. Horrible person to work for. Mike is down to earth and nice. Always made sure I was happy and always answered any and all questions I had. Never had any problems with him. Just based on bob & his son, I will NEVER have Green Thumbs do ANYTHING for me ever again. There are a few other parkton based landscapers. Give them a call - don't waste your time on green thumbs!
