A LIAR. Clint is a liar. He promised to return to improve on the overpriced, sloppy job done at my house in Campus Hills. This has now been two weeks since the ragged cut, with unraked grass left behind and minimal trimming. There has been no return call from the multiple messages left since his promise was made. AVOID this jerk that tries to milk any feel good outlook toward him by stating "family business". He DOES look at his phone (saw him do it in my presence) but he does not return call or say hello to the caller. I say again, A LIAR. read more

It took a while to get in touch with Clint Oleson of Lawn Rangers in Lutherville, due to some personal health problems. When I did, he came over and walked the yard with me explaining what I wanted done. Lots of shrubs trimmed, ivy pulled out of shrubs, mint pulled out of the Yucca, trimming and shaping of trees and shrubs, removing massive weed infestations from several flower beds, removal of ground cover near the foundation of the house to keep the house drier, thin some Azaleas, crop the Hollies. and the big project......how to keep my hardy Zoysia lawn from crumbling the edges of my asphalt driveway. I had already done enough research to know that Zoysia roots go down six inches and putting in any kind of border less than six inches deep would allow the Zoysia to go under the border and into the asphalt. I imagined that a border of Zoysia, 6" deep plastic border, paver, driveway would work. Clint brought in one of his Special Forces guys who suggested filling the space between the pavers and the slightly eroded driveway with asphalt to make the transition look and work better. They dug out the dirt, placed the 6" vinyl barrier, tamped the dirt down and poured in a light layer of asphalt from bags about as big as mulch bags. I'd never seen asphalt sold this way. They snugged the pavers in nicely and filled the crack between the pavers and driveway. The project took two days and I was very satisfied with the work and the workers. I tipped them at the end of each day. I had to call Clint back for two small things; laying some mulch and pulling ivy and other vines from around the base of the shed. We had talked about it, but with all that was going on, they just missed it. Two days later he was on it and now the yard looks great and I've stopped the Zoysia from eating my driveway. I'll have some more work for them in the Fall. read more

I hired these guys and right before they finished, their little front end loader (a Dingo TX1000) blew a tread and they couldn't move it. That was June 30th. It is now October 3, and the Dingo is still sitting on my property. They haven't answered any phone calls, text messages, or emails. I have asked a lawyer to figure things out and have now gotten the Baltimore County police involved. When I go to their web site, it is down. I believe the guy is out of business. But not sure. I thought we had developed a nice relationship but I was duped. I should have read the other Yelp reviews first but didn't. It has certainly been abandoned so I'll either give it away or make a planter out of it. read more

They were contracted for snow removal for our condo building. First time showed up for major snow storm and quit in the middle of the job! He left seniors cars stranded in snow drifts! Avoid at all costs! read more

Lawn Rangers recently trimmed all of the hedges and shrubbery in our front and back yard. They reached out to me quickly upon receiving my request for service and booked our job for the next day. Yard looks great and they cleaned up afterward. We are really pleased with the results! read more

I called them 3 times and they never picked up nor did they call back. Bad business and very unprofessional in my book!

Clint's guys clean up our yard twice per year, cut the grass and generally take on one other project. I tell him what I need, we shake hands and then he gives a fair price when done. We've been doing it that way for 7 or so years now. Since he lives in the neighborhood, they are always really easy to work with on schedules. The workers did a great job. But Clint didnt come back to finish the job as agreed. He also over charged us by $3,000 and we are in dispute w/ credit card company. To top it all off, we have to pay to get almost everything re-done. Clint has never returned our calls or emails, For several weeks his email was full and we couldnt even leave a messg. My front and back yards had gotten sad and rundown and pleading for help. Clint came to see the situation and gave me confidence he and his team could respond to the problem and I handed it over to his Lawn Rangers. They came with tools I had never seen before and a confidence only an expert team could have. They immediately addressed all the issues by trimming, edging, clearing, planting, sodding, etc. The works! Their expertise and vision became apparent to my wondrous satisfaction. Had Clint and his team out for a spring clean up. Our backyard is mostly landscaped beds so there was quite a bit to do. His team worked tirelessly for the entire day and he was there working right beside them. Clint worked with our needs and budget and when a few trees were accidentally missed, he sent his team back out as soon as possible. Very responsive. Will definitely call him again! read more

Clint is reasonable, responsive, genuine and a great person overall. I've been using his company since 2013 when we lived in Towson on less than a 1/4 acre. We now have about 3 acres out of 5 that need lots of attention. They do everything from flowerbeds within the pool area, maintaining 2 acres of aluminum fencing, mulching, edging, landscape trimming, leaf blowing with removal and anything else I throw at them. Once they dug a 500 ft ditch for a driveway alarm, helped me plant about 200 annuals/perennials and helped me look for my dog in the pouring rain. They seasonally help me move patio furniture here and there (Earle is always willing to help out), climb up to a decorative balcony in front and blow leaves, spray wasp nests, remove debris and just today without question, Jesse and Dillon weedwhacked an area of 3' tall weeds for me to start a garden. Tomorrow they will be clearing out an area of weeds to prep a 40'x45' pad for a playset. Set timbers and lay a smaller 10'x13' gravel pad for a play cottage. These guys go out of their way to help, are very polite, and take direction well. What's great about Clint and his crew is they want to keep your business, they want to do it the way you want and they want you to like their completed work.
