This was to confirm my appointment on the 21st of November, as well as the ETA window for their installation team, which was 0830-1130. On the day of installation, the installation team arrived at 08:21. The Team Lead (Ahwner) introduced himself, and we walked to the windows that were to be replaced. He explained that before beginning the installation, he would need to confirm the measurement for accuracy. Once he completed the remeasurements, he advised me that they would start the installation. Including the TL (Ahwner), there were four members on this install team. They quickly began setting up their work areas. They placed tarps over my laminate floors, entryways, furniture, and even the grass outside. This was to ensure that no debris or loose materials would be left behind. All the work was completed by 09:43. Upon completion, the TL asked me to walk the project with him to confirm my satisfaction. He asked if I had any questions about the completed project, then asked me to sign the order of completion sheet. Part of this process included a link/QR code to scan for the final balance payment. There was an issue with the QR code, so he suggested I call their customer service for assistance. Once on the phone with their customer service, they provided an email link that I used to resolve the remaining balance. What can be said that hasn't already been said? Overall, I am delighted with Window Nation's service. Their quality workmanship, customer service, and follow-up in addressing any questions or concerns I may have had throughout this process.

After the install the company sent me a 4 star warranty stating covered only 5 years. Same thing happened to my neighbor which I gave a referral to the company. After calling the salesman several times leaving messages and several texts he has not responded back. I emailed the company and called them and spoke to customer service which told me someone would contact me. So far nobody responded to texts or calls or emails. Buyer beware. Also in the pamphlet it gives a rating higher than the installed windows on air infiltration. Another scam. Salesman also said the wood is covered if need to be replaced during the install. One window needed the frame replaced as it fell apart when removing the old window. Installer said its not covered and not in the work order. Another lie. Charles also said he would be at the property during the install incase of something needing his authority to fix. He never showed at my house or my neighbors house.

Nearly TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS per window. I came across Kelemer Brothers in a Reddit thread. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I contacted them and met with Gabriel Kelemer the same day. He quoted a price for 13 windows PLUS A NEW FRONT DOOR for 1/2 the Marvin quote. The positive reviews were entirely deserved. Kelemer's crew installed the windows and front door yesterday. They were terrific to work with, did excellent work (I'm a home handyman and picky as they come), and finished the job in a single day. Half the cost, installed in a day (after lead time to make the windows, of course), and excellent craftsmanship in both windows and installation.

Update on review of Aug 5th. In interim between install and repair, a piece of trim came off and…read morewas blown from balcony in wind. The Pella repair man came today (Aug 20th) to finish install and replace missing trim. He cleaned up a lot of the dirty prints left behind on trim and in caulk on install, but did not have correct trim to replace trim that fell off. Wish he would have been here to guide the installers. They evidently are not experienced enough to work independently and could use supervision. The trim that fell off was not the correct trim for exterior. With trim missing between balcony door and transom over the door, it shows that the gap between is about 1/8" on outer edges and widens in middle to greater than 1/4" wide, then narrows to about 1/8" on other side. Gave me a clue as to why the trim fell off. I would conclude that lower door frame was not shimmed properly to be set level. It will likely be a few more weeks before correct trim piece can be ordered and the repair completed. Other residents in the condo community have been asking, and based on my experience, I cannot reccommend Pella.

That's one patio slider, one double casement window and one double casement window with set window in the center. Only glitch was a window was installed and then noticed a locking latch was broken. Was immediately ordered and installed less than 30 days later. Service was great, install was great and follow up repair was great. So far a happy camper for a $12K job. Highly recommend.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. I had a terrible experience with Artisan Glass Works. I order the sample set to choose the best…read morematch for my 1912 Victorian home. The order was delivered and looked OK on initial inspection, so I removed my original broken pane and installed the new pane. As you can see from the picture, it looks like they just took a sheet and randomly took a hammer to it. This type of "ageing" was not apparent on the samples. Artisan Glass took no responsibility for the faulty production and could only offer a 20% discount, as "the glass had already been installed". Look elsewhere for historic glass. There are better companies out there who stand behind their products and ensure their customers have the type of glass they expect.
