Christopher and his staff are excellent to work with. I had a very hard time creating a ring with…read morea family heirloom and Chris was patient, helpful, encouraging. I wanted to "blame" him for the ring not being done and he gently reminded me he was ready to help me make something beautiful as soon as I decided what I wanted. It was such a good conversation and helped me realize it was me that was having such a hard time with this, not him. After some design talks and idea searching and a mold being made, we were ready to move forward. Then, after it was made, I wanted some tweaks and he and Bruce, his bench jeweler, got it all figured out. It is a BEAUTIFUL ring which I LOVE LOVE LOVE made from a beautiful family diamond and I know that Christopher and Co will stand by the work and be my jeweler of choice for years to come. I also bought a watch from him which I LOVE!!! He knows my lifestyle and my needs and helped me pick out what works for me. I have also had appraisals of various sorts done here and he also looked over everything in my late mother's jewelry box to give me an idea of what was in there. So in that regards, C and Co helped me navigate family heirloom situations in the wake of a death, and any help in that arena is much appreciated. I would recommend Christopher and Co anyone seeking assistance or product in the jeweler industry.

They also pierced it incorrectly, meaning they pierced my seconds straight when they should've been curved. So don't recommend coming here for piercings.

No worries, he's a friendly and respectful guy, but I thought it worth mentioning in case of allergies. He's often asleep in the front window or nestled in a corner somewhere. She has a note on the door warning guests of his presence before they enter. Her shop has a good selection of various items, from man-tiques to jewelry and silver. I've always enjoyed shopping here, but it should be noted, Susan can take some time to warm up to you. The first few times I came in, she was brusque and mostly stayed at the register. Now that we've gotten to know each other better, she will regularly come out and help me with things in various vendor's booths around the store. She seems knowledgeable about her trade. A quick note: Her husband's locksmith business has a service counter located in the back of the store, and I wanted to mention an exchange I witnessed that affected my experience in her shop one time. One of my buddies came in to the antique store with me, and when he saw the locksmith counter in the back, asked her husband a few questions about having another key made for an oddball brand lock he uses. The husband was cold and bordering on rude about my friend's use of that brand of lock, because key blanks are hard to get for it. He was loud enough I could hear their exchange from up in the antique shop. It made my shopping experience up in the antique store uncomfortable that day. He's not usually in at the locksmith counter when I go antique shopping, but that experience that day certainly left an impression. This is the only thing holding me back from an even better review.
