The staff is friendly (with the exception of the orthodontist doctor that is not a Lineberger - she was very rude ) and the timing of our appointments are always prompt. Of course my child really likes the snacks and games available for the patients. So Thank you for that service. Dr. Matthew Lineberger has been assessing my daughter for a few years on the correct timing of his braces. We made a decision recently to go with another orthodontist. The reason that we decided to go with another Orthodontist is because I noticed that last few times that I was in the office that there were no people of color. There were only caucasians working in the Huntersville office. There should have been at least two people of color as there were at least 15 employees in the office (not one African American working ). Dr. Lineberger s wall display is full of athletes that are men of color - however is ortho team is not diverse at all. I would like to see the doctor providing equal opportunity for all races. That felt like kind of an extreme intervention and a little early so I got a second opinion on the West Coast with an orthodontist my friends go to, who said so he would no way extract, he would watch and wait. Fast forward a couple years and my son is ready for braces for expansion but teeth have come in fine and they all found a decent place imnhis mouth without looking crazy or giving him trouble. I am very glad I didn't put my son through tooth removal unnecessarily. After that experience I hear it's pretty rare for orthodontist to still do extractions, that that approach is a bit antiquated.

It took no time for me to get a free consultation which went pretty smoothly. Sheila and Dr Valeriano explained to me the best treatment for my teeth and payment options available to me. Dr. V even told me about my airway and alerted me to other possible health concerns that I may need I get addressed if the braces didn't help. Dr V was my second orthodontist I saw for consultation and unlike the other orthodontist, he told me I only needed one extraction for my 24 month treatment and I could start the treatment as soon as I was ready and get extraction later. Previous orthodontist said I needed 3 extractions and 30 month treatment. Thankfully I didn't even need one extraction with Dr V in the end! Dr V has saved me a lot of money and even offered $500 off my treatment. Although I wanted Invisalign I got braces but the kind that is clear on top so it has made my braces experience much more enjoyable as an adult. The office is very clean, the front desk staff always great me with a smile and are prompt to service me. Even now during COVID the staff has done a great job taking temps and making sure the office is free of patients so less room for any passing of virus. My first patient care coordinator Brittany was great! She always explained what she was doing but also took a personal interest in what I have going on. All the others for the most part have been great as well. I see Dr V each appointment unless I'm just going to get my wires taking off for a cleaning and the office has always been able to accommodate my cleaning schedule! Best of all, I am always offered with a mini dessert on the way out! I finished my treatment within 18 months and love my teeth! I high key miss my braces too though. Thx Dr V and team.

My children and I walked into a jam packed waiting room with no seating available. We had to sit on the floor by the main door with the cold air coming in every time the door opened. We were never offered a seat. Second, never ever make an evening appt (or afternoon for that matter). Appts in the afternoon and evenings generally run about an hour and a half PAST scheduled appt. Now I have to cancel any other appts I may have had tonight and might have to pay a cancellation fee. Thanks OrthoCare. Truly your customers are not your main concern.
