Won't honor warranty on a blind that is less than a year old. I bought 10 blinds dns spent a lot of money based on their 3 year warranty.

Avoid dealing with Select Blinds. I ordered blinds on April 21, 2025. They delivered only a portion of the order on May 05, 2025. Despite a call and greater than eight email exchanges with this company, they have still not delivered the balance of the order, though in each case they claimed the balance of the order has just shipped, but cannot provide a tracking number. I have filed a claim with the BBB as well as a dispute with my credit card company. Buyer, please beware. read more

I wished I had checked reviews, but got caught up in finding a blind that most closely matched a broken, existing blind. The quality of the Select Blind I chose (Cordless Light Filtering Top Down Bottom Up Shades) is horrible! The up/down movement is sticky, choppy and rough - not smooth at all which then causes the blind to raise and/or lower unevenly. I'm having major buyer's remorse. I don't like the color or the opacity either, but that's more my issue. The bottom line is that, based on the quality - which is POOR - I would not recommend this company. this company is the absolute worst! I ordered blinds specifically for blackout purposes, sent me the wrong size. when I explained to them that they sent me the wrong size they offered to remake the blinds at the same size that they made before. I told them until I was blue the face that I didn't want a remake because I don't trust the company to make it time when they couldn't make it correct the first time and I wanted a refund. prices are attractive but the customer service is TERRIBLE. literally some of the worst i've experienced of any company. I've called them over the course of 3 months now to get my blinds properly measured and each time i call them i have to re-explain my issue. customer service is not US based (and i don't mean that as a bad thing) and because of that there is a protocol that is followed but i don't think any of the reps actually do any reasoning/thinking on their own - they are just phone robots. very disappointed that i can get my blinds that were too short replaced with properly sized ones. i will no longer be doing business with this trash company read more

I had ordered Roman shades from Select Blinds. Before ordering I asked the "specialist" if I could use the same size and they said "yes". My blinds were 2 inches larger than what I had ordered. I contacted customer service and was asked to take a picture of my measuring tape and the measuring tape next to my current blinds. only to be told they will not refund but I could order but would have to pay for and they would provide a 10% discount. Buyer beware! SelectBlinds offers a 90 Day Satisfaction Guarantee - but this is a FRAUDULENT offer - they make it seem like they guarantee happiness - but they DO NOT OFFER A CREDIT OR REPLACEMENT! The language says that they offer a replacement, but you have to pay for it! Their guarantee is that they will give you coupons that you used in the prior order +10% off the replacement YOU HAVE TO BUY NEW PRODUCTS!!! This is a guarantee. You have to pay - NO refund or exchange (remake) unless a product is defective. I ordered blinds that looked cheap and stuck out, they said that they would make me a new set with a different mounting system, I was happy until they later said I had to pay for it! I don't understand how that is a guarantee. This is absolutely false advertising and I'm sure a lot of people are stuck with products they don't like because they think that they have a guarantee like other companies! Most companies on the Internet will give you a guarantee and a credit towards a replacement. Definitely order from them! I called about this issue four times as I had three windows done and it was over $400. The motor on the no-drill blinds needs to be charged with a USB port that is located at the top of the blind - not at the bottom - making it extremely difficult to charge on high windows. This is stated in the online user manual. Also, read their no return or exchange policy carefully. They won't return or exchange if you are unsatisfied with the product unless there is an error on their part. I was on hold for nearly 45 minutes with customer service; it was awful. read more

Selectblinds sold me broken blinds, made me ship back batteries 3 times to "have them checked out at the factory", didn't tell me what the factory found, and ultimately refused a refund or to send solar chargers which would have fixed the problem. We spent many thousands of dollars on blinds for our home, they didn't make a real effort to solve the problem. They sell faulty products and then treat customers very badly. read more

DON'T DO IT! The first thing they do is take your money at the time the order is placed. The last thing they do is offer customer service. I ordered motorized zebra shade with remote and a bridge hub. Bridge came, no shade. Got an email shade was being delivered next day (3 weeks at this point) so I opened the bridge to charge it ($200 upcharge) shade never came. Got another email shade was coming next business day. No show again. It's now 4+weeks. Called customer service which is clearly outsources, said I wanted to cancel the order. She told me okay for the shade but no return on the bridge since it was opened. I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor, she put me on hold, then said supervisor was on another call. Clearly this person was sitting at home in her pajamas most likely. Told me supervisor would call within 2 days. No call of course. Finally shade arrived after 5+ weeks. DOA. Pure piece of junk; motor won't charge. Called customer service, this time got a busy call center in some remote location, agent barely spoke English. Took my complaint and said he would give it high priority to be reviewed and someone would get back to me in 3-5 days. So here's the kicker-they have my $744 and I have nothing. I ordered samples for my wife to look at, she decided on one and I wanted surprise her for her b-day and ordered 9 huge windows, after 6 days I get an email saying they are on backorder and could be another 20+ days before they start the order. I just called to ask them to cancel the order, and I have asked 6 reps in chat and on the phone after being on hold for 2hrs each time. They told me they will send a note to production and see if they can cancel them but yet I have an email saying all windows are on hold, nothing has moved forward. Now the slimy tactics is to send out a window remote via FedEx so they can say they have started the process. Purchased several light diffusing Zebra Blinds with bottom lift. This is a very poorly designed product. The roller does not allow for easy opening and closing without tearing fabric material. Specifically, here's what happens: the fabric materials move left and right on the roller unrestricted and the fabric gets caught along the edges and starts to tear with the up and down movement. So the nice blind you just bought gets torn and frayed nearly right way. Customer service tries to appease you by sending you another but the problem is the same. Cheap, cheap, cheap. It's too late to dispute the purchase with the credit card. To add insult to injury, guess what pops up every time I load YouTube. You guessed it: An insulting video ad for Select Blinds. We ordered blinds in December. They arrived after having to be re-routed because they were trying to send them to our other address in another State. When they arrived, only one of the blinds had the correct hanging hardware. We've been waiting an additional month for the correct hanging hardware to arrive and now we see that it's also being sent to the wrong STATE. This is very frustrating because these blinds are for our front doors. How can they send two identical blinds with 2 different sets of hardware. It's either top mount or side mount and they didn't put the same hardware in with both shades that were made at the same time. We are VERY Frustrated with this company. Excellent blinds, reasonable prices, fast shipping within the *continental* USA. I shipped 5 blinds to a relative on the mainland because Selectblinds.com does not ship to Hawaii. I brought my blinds home by checking them as baggage with my airline. I love the blinds! They appear more durable and made of higher quality material than the Changshade blinds I ordered through Amazon. I would order more for all the windows in my house if it was possible to have them shipped (at reasonable cost) to Hawaii. read more

I bought the No Drill Blinds Roman Shades. Measured them correctly, tried to install them and they were too heavy for the no drill mechanism. I contacted Select Blinds several times. They kept sending me videos of blinds that had nothing to do with mine and the phone calls were difficult because the people I talked with were not easy to understand. I filed a claim and they just kept asking for more information. It was so unnecessary. I really just wanted to return them. I ended up buying brackets and making them work. I have bought all of my blinds from Select Blinds. This was the first time using the No Drill add on. I was so disappointed I will not buy from them again. read more

Two stars because they appear to be made well. The rest is customer service. There's no talking to a human. If your blinds are not working, you're gonna end up texting somebody and they take about 12 hours to get back to you. Needless to say, I have this nice motorized roller shade I just installed before my Christmas party and naturally, they don't work. I had to message them and then they take approximately 12 hours to get back to me. They have me push a button on the shade which is supposed to make the shade step, but it doesn't. Apparently they didn't believe me, so I had to send a video of myself, pushing the button to prove that it doesn't work. Then they asked me if I charged the shade. I did not because there is nothing in the instructions that mention charging the shade nor did they send me any sort of charger. Normally I would YouTube it but I can't even find the brand on there. Anyway, these suckers cost a thousand dollars so I'm not thrilled. Then I got wooden blinds. They have you send the exact measurements and then they send it 2 inches too short so I have to dismantle something to adjust them which I do not want to do. All in all, I'm not happy with the service. I still have to install the kitchen shade, so we'll see how that goes. read more

I order 14 motorized elevated coastal woven wood shades after reviewing a lovely sample. The shades arrived in a timely manner. All 14 damaged! Frayed, holes, dents in the shades from the large rollers. When I called to report the damage and included photos, I was told they would be remade and shipped within the next 10 days. They were never shipped. Called again and was told they will not remake them that I should steam them. I was told the shades are 40% paper and 60% bamboo! The website clearly states they are bamboo grass, linen and wool. There is no way I would have paid thousands of dollars for paper shades!!!! Since I cannot steam out the shreds, frays and tears I requested a refund. I was told it would be processed in 24-48 hours. 7 phone calls, and 5 weeks later no replacement product and no refund. Every phone call ends with "you are super high priority and we will get back to you with your resolution in 24-48 hrs". Request a manager...they are busy and will get back to you in 24-48 hours. Here;s my issue with SelectBlinds. The product is fine and well priced. Resetting the top and bottom position of the rollers is a nightmare. The printed instructions were incorrect. Select Blinds has very poor customer service. Don't order from them because they don't offer any solutions for you if you are dissatisfied or receive something unexpected. I purchased a almost white coastal roman blind, after carefully selecting the color from a sample ordered, and it arrived with an ivory lining that totally changed the color of the blind. Who puts an ivory liner on a blind. They didn't disclose the lining color in any way and just noted "light filtering". After trying their chat a number of times, being told I was transferred to an agent that never happened, I finally decided to call and wait. Finally an agent answered and asked that I send a picture of the lining after he already confirmed they use an ivory lining. That is the only solution he had for me. When I asked if there was someone else I could speak to he said there wasn't. How long will this take to resolve now or will I just have to live with this yellow colored blind. read more

If I could rate zero, I would! I ordered and received a motorized cellular shade for my patio sliding door. It was the wrong length when received. After a few weeks it was replaced. Over time and as expected, the battery pack in the header was recharged, using the charger cord that came with the shade. In June/July the shade stopped working. I tried recharging as normal. That didn't work. I asked for replacement cord in July (still under warranty). After weeks of waiting, they sent the wrong charger cord that didn't connect to the battery pack cord. I contacted them again and was promised a new cord. Weeks passed. It wasn't until I posted on Instagram about my dilemma that I was contacted by their social media team. And then by customer service. I was again promised resolution. After another two weeks (yesterday) I finally received a package hoping it was the cord to charge the currently unusable motorized shade. But noooo!!! They sent me a remote control. I still have a non-working motorized cellular shade from Select Blinds. It's now the end of November and I will have to purchase something else hopefully in time for the Christmas holidays, to cover my sliding door because it is evident that Select Blinds takes your money for the purchase but doesn't care whether you remain a customer in the future.
