Bear Creek became part of her rehab team after a stint in the hospital. I can happily say she has been so pleased! Every day she tells me about something nice one of the staff said, or that they delivered ice cream with chocolate sauce as a surprise snack. When she was transferred from the hospital, I couldn't get there till the next day and was worried about what state she would be in. When I arrived, the parking lot was nice and I was able to find a place by the door. The gate had a two step process, which made me happy. At the entry a worker came right out and took my temp, gave me a mask (yuck) and asked all of the pertinent questions so I again was pleased with the security. Once I found her room, I was surprised by the lack of clutter in the hallways - something I've come to expect at alot of places. Then, her room is nice, maybe a little bland, but I brightened up the place with flowers. I wish places would use more energizing colors than cream and brown. But, there are corner shelves for flowers and cards, which is a nice touch. I met her Occupational Therapist and she couldn't have been nicer to my friend, who has some memory issues (I'm 30 years younger and have memory loss, so I'm not one to talk!). She let me sit in on the evaluation, which was comforting for my friend, and reassured me that they were not wasting time but getting her ready for therapy immediately. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience and she is doing fantastic just within a week! Wow! I am so happy!!

I went three times for therapy and each time I went there was a different therapist. They all…read moreseemed competent but it was uncomfortable having three different strangers touching me. I was told I would have the same person for the next three weeks but I never returned so I can't say if this would have been the case. I did not return because I was notified that my insurance would not cover some of the procedures. When I called to let them know that I could not have some of the procedures I was told that I had been discharged and owe them money. I was surprised that they had disenrolled me and had been treated badly by the attendant. When I received a bill I had been billed for 4 sessions. I had only gone three times and when I tried to contact the billing office to let them know I was greeted by a voicemail which said to leave a message. The person called me in the early morning hours and when I returned the call I got the voicemail again. I called one more time and then gave up. Since then I have received three more bills. I intend to pay them for the three sessions I had which was a copay. I would definitely not recommend this office.
