Thankfully the hospital and Mom's insurance chose Solaria. Amazingly, her first CNA remembered Mom from a broken hip stay 2 years ago... and she made sure Mom was as comfortable as possible. Healing is so hard at that age. Hearing and understanding while on pain meds is frustrating. But the staff was patient and kind to Mom.. and me, as I was there, in their way, every day for 2 months. Even just walking in the door of the ReHab wing, the smiling and warm greeting from the front desk folks always made me feel welcome. The social services team was available to answer any questions and fiercely advocated for us. From the tenacious and caring speech therapist who helped Mom with an eating problem, to the PT team who inspired and encouraged her... to the amazing nurses and CNAs who have become like family... we feel blessed to have felt loved along the way to recovery. The activities manager finally convinced Mom to participate (THANK YOU!!!) and the kitchen staff even made special efforts to help get Mom eating. No place is perfect when all you want is to be back in your beloved home. But the GOOD PEOPLE here have made this uncomfortable journey better for us and we HIGHLY recommend Solaris if you need a rehab facility for your loved one.

My elderly stepfather returned to this facility recently after being there nine months ago. This experience has been a nightmare. Communication is practically nonexistent. Both my sister and I left repeated voicemails and emails for the head of nursing, the facility, Director, and the social workers, barely any responses When we did manage to get someone on the phone we were met with rudeness and hostility. My stepfather began vomiting and having diarrhea on a Wednesday. He was weak, and we could tell something was seriously wrong. Unfortunately, we have autoimmune disorder so we could not go in in person. It took until Friday to get a clear update, and even then, we had to push hard just to speak to someone. I told the head of nursing who was struggling to breathe, she argued with me saying His labs and his chest x-ray looked good and insisted he was stable. I asked if they had done a Covid and/or flu test. She dismiss the idea entirely. Only after I demanded testing did they run one, and guess what? Positive for Covid even then they resisted transferring him to the hospital until we threatened legal action. He was finally moved, and once there, we learned he had a collapsed lung and was admitted directly into the ICU. The head of nursing casually told me she doesn't return calls because she has approximately 157 patients and they're short staffed. That's just unprofessional, not to mention dangerous I would never send another loved one here. What was once a decent facility is now a place I wouldn't trust with anyone's care. Absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable .

Because if I was your Uber, I will not take you there. Although I my grandpa that died in November 2023, I just hate the "care" they give. They mistreated him in a way that isn't normal. A way you will leave like roach spray. They punished him for getting mad but my mom said if he gets mad they will put sleeping medicines that will put you to sleep for 3 days so they Dont deal with him under no circumstances. i don't know if that's true but something seems off since my mom told me and I been there before years ago. The nightshift nurse was really mean an each time we see him and he complains he is asleep the next day. And he was sleeping for 2 to 3 days. We knew something seemed off. I don't know why I see some 4 to 5 star reviews on this facility but I am getting really suspicious on the perfect reviews. And it is really weird to me. It's not amazing care, it's amazing "care". The quotation marks are there for a reason. If something bad happens to this facility , it'd be the best day of my life. This place has no mercy. Grandpahood trauma. Care trauma, I wish this place was in the toilet.

I would like to express my feelings and observations regarding the rehabilitation center where my…read morefamily member has been staying for nearly 20 days. From what I have observed, there appears to be a shortage of staff to properly care for the patients, as well as a lack of adequate cleaning equipment and supplies. The person who cleaned today seemed to only do a superficial job, not because of a lack of effort, but because they simply do not have enough time or the proper materials to clean thoroughly. The CNAs are expected to change, bathe, dress, and make the beds for patients, while also serving meals and later collecting all the meal trays. That is an overwhelming workload for the number of patients they are responsible for. The nurses also appear to be overworked. It is noticeable that many staff members do not seem satisfied with their working conditions, and I understand that the pay may also be a contributing factor. In addition, there seem to be frequent changes in management. It is truly unfortunate because the facility itself is very nice. However, it does not appear to have the staffing levels, equipment, or resources needed to provide the quality of care that patients deserve. I do want to recognize that the staff members are kind, attentive, and quick to listen and respond when concerns are brought to their attention. My comments are directed toward the need for better support and resources, not toward the employees who are doing their best under difficult circumstances.
