August 17, 2021 Aqua…read moreZumba ...I do NOT recommend it. 0 stars The 5 stars is for H2O...ONLY. H2O location is awesome, great parking, it's for PT and rehab...it's a nice new facility with good equipment and amenities. REVIEW is part 2 of "Aqua Zumba " soo, I originally paid for 5 classes and I've now completed 3. (hindsight fail) Now, all of you know that Zumba is fast dance moves, right? Starts out high impact then eventually slows its pace, correct? Ok...so, tell me, how does a teacher justify teaching water Zumba without: 1) getting into the pool 2) without modifying the dance moves I mean, she does realize we are floating, right? We are buoyant, right? We can't ever move fast, right? Geez! But, hey...these old ladies appear to enjoy themselves with this pseudo workout (and maybe that's why, LOL?!) I too, am 60 so I can say "old", ok, but, I do not enjoy or get anything out of this class. I modify the exercises as best as I can, I'm no expert but, I want to get a workout; and gawd knows the teacher definitely gets her work out on...I mean, she's on land doing regular Zumba exercises. I will complete the last 2 classes ONLY because I prepaid... but, it's a hard NO on any recommendation to Aqua Zumba. My suggestion: Modify the exercises to accommodate water buoyancy...teach the class in the water.

I just finished a round of physical therapy for a compressed disc at Tideway. Today was…read more"graduation" day. I have nothing but good to say about this place. My therapist, Tisha Enriquez, was awesome. She was patient and gentle, but still encouraging enough to force me to do things that didn't feel so great when I first started. And by the end of my six weeks, I was doing them almost perfect - well, ok, not perfect, but definitely made a big improvement! I was quite proud of myself as a 70+ year old! The pool was clean and a perfect temperature for spring. The equipment was easy to use and well kept up. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to get in the pool, move around with less pain, and improve my health at the same time. After six weeks there, I not only gained more strength to help me deal with my disc problem, but also the knowledge to continue the exercises at home now that I am done. Highly recommended and I'll go back as soon as my medical insurance will let me!

After working with Dr. Vines I switched to a cane for only a few weeks and then started walking without any aide. He is determined to get you back to normal and really enjoys his job. I was having a lot of pain until Dr. Vine started working with me at his facility and gave me exercises to do at home. My pain went away quickly. Dr. Vines always asks how your pain level is and if you have any issues or questions. He kept my doctor up to date on my recovery. Ginger is the wonderful administrator you will talk to about your appointments and insurance approval. She is a bright and sunny person that loves working with people. She keeps up with your insurance for you and makes sure all your appointments are scheduled at your convenience. Everything is so clean and they keep it sanitized all the time. They have up to date equipment and make it fun to work out. You will get a great work out every visit. I recovered so fast that all my friends and family were impressed. Thanks Dr. Vines and Ginger. I don't want another injury but if I need physical therapy again I know where I will be going to. You are like family to me. Lydia Wallace

I went in for therapy after shoulder replacement surgery. The facility is clean with plenty of equipment and not crowded. Lastly, Royce the owner, is the Dude. After my surgery for a meniscus tear (among other things) on 12/13 I started working with them on 12/18. My very first day ... I would be lying if I stated I wasn't scared. This is a first for me doing PT. Joey the director, is not only incredibly knowledgeable but enormously kind and gentle to help his patients every step of the way. His goal for each client is wanting success, healing and comfort for every patient there. All of the additional PT staff are incredible and have been so instrumental in my success. They work together as a family to help you heal. Office staff are equally wonderful and everyone has such a friendly attitude. I applaud each and every one of them. I am certain my success is due their expertise and kindness. From my heart, I thank you. Hugs to you ALL!
