I am so impressed by the whole team here at All American orthopedic Physical therapy on Gemini…read morestarting with Iman when you first walk into the facility. she not only greets you with a beautiful smile but remembers your name no matter how many patients came in before or after you, so professional. Then Ken (we are on a first name basis with all the staff) who makes a point of acknowledging all the patients coming in for treatment. Of course, my very favorite therapist, Van. he's patient and thorough, and very creative. if something doesn't work for you, he invents another similar procedure that accomplishes the same outcome. this is the only place I will come for therapy. it has helped me a great deal. Thank you ALL. Hazel

I have full coverage with both insurance plans, yet no one bothered to inform me. The referral person told me they see thousands of patients and can't call everyone, and promised to have the doctor's MA call me back, but I never heard from anyone. I took time off work for this appointment, only to have it canceled. Never again.

She asked that I get a more recent MRI.  On 3/24/24, I had my MRI done.  On 9/17/24, I asked to schedule the procedure and a surgery date of 10/3/24 was given. 10/2/24 at 2pm, the day before surgery, I received a phone call from nurse at the office stating the surgery was cancelled and that insurance denied it.  I told her that I have very good insurance and I would be very surprised if they didn't cover it.  She stated that she had been working for weeks on getting this approved and stated she had "thrown a bunch of codes at it, even grafting and it was denied".  I said "grafting???" She responded "yes".  At this point I was very confused because we did not talk with the doctor about her doing a graft. She then stated that the doctor was going to recommend someone else for the surgery.  I asked if she could call on my behalf to get the appointment sooner, I told her pick first available and I would be there and she told me she would call me back. I called my insurance, who stated that it was denied because they did not send the imaging scans and the report did not show that I had the problem that they were trying to do surgery on. She stated there were things in there about a torn cartlidge but the reports did not show that I had that problem.  Insurance also stated that the doctor cannot include possible or unsure in the surgical plans.  She stated that they had 7 business days for a reconsideration or peer to peer.  I called back and spoke to the office manager, who stated that they had been trying for weeks to get this approved and that they did send the scans, twice.  She stated that they also did ask for a reconsideration and that was denied. I spoke with her about the doctor that was recommended and stated that someone was suppose to get back to me about a date and time but never did.  She stated that she would have the nurse call me back.  I spoke with my insurance again and she stated that everything has to be documented on their end.  Conversations, paperwork, it all gets documented in the system, she went through line by line of what was documented that happened with my case.  I was told that the paperwork for my procedure was turned over to the insurance on 9/25/24, so the doctors office had not been working on my case for weeks, as they stated.  She stated that there were 3 attempts made to get the imaging from 9/29 sent over to them for review and they were never sent.  She stated she went through line by line to see if there was anything in any of the documentation about a reconsideration or peer to peer and there was not.  They stated that in order for it to get approved, they would need to have the x-rays, and updated plan that clearly specified what needed to be done in the surgical plan and that the codes need to be separated and there needs to be an explanation of why they need to be done as well and this needed to be done within 7 days of the denial.  On 10/3/24, I sent the doctor a message explaining what had occurred and it was intercepted by her nurse, who responded on 10/7/24,  she gave me the name and phone number of the surgeon the doctor was recommending, stating that she faxed them over my records and I can call them to make an appointment.  She apologized for the inconvenience that I had experienced.  I wrote back inconvenience is one thing, being lied to is another.  I let her know that I would be posting a review.  Not even an hour later, I received a phone call from the office manager, to which I declined.  I was not even in the mood to call back and fight about it.  Why would I even want a surgery done now when I know the office staff is incompetent and flat out lied about everything? If the doctor was not competent to do the procedure, then she should have just referred me out from the very beginning.
