With me, I feel like I go in to see her, tell how I feel and what my symptoms are, she asks a few clarifying questions and exams me, then she tells me what's wrong and discusses with me how to make it feel better and get better. She is willing to change directions when something is not working and she is also willing to "try it your way" when you come in with thoughts and ideas for a treatment plan that you want to try (as long as it it safe), even if it is not the approach that she would normally advise. She will tell you when you need more advanced or specialized care than she can provide in her office and will refer you to an appropriate specialist. She is always open and honest with her patients. Her office staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. I highly recommend her! If she is not available, Dr. Kurtis Elward, another doctor in that same practice, is also very good.
