The pure convenience of being able to call Chris and have him come right to your house (masked up and with plastic covers on his shoes to protect your floors) to tend to your ailing computer aside, he's incredibly nice, friendly and professional, and great at warning you about best and worst case scenarios for the issues you're having with your computer and talking you through your options for dealing with them ahead of time so you don't get any nasty surprises. Best of all, having him come right to my house to fix my laptop has consistently been both faster AND cheaper than leaving the computer at a repair shop where it will languish for days on end before anyone gets around to looking at it. I'd 100%, unreservedly recommend Computer Crisis to anyone having a computer crisis in the Albany area.

Gable Electric came when I had a problem with my stand by Generator. The fella that came to my…read morehouse was Joe. He knew what was wrong and he also serviced the generator. Fast forward to November 4. The generator didn't star. When I called Gable they sent Tony. Soon to replace Joe. Not generator Joe another Joe. Generator Joe is "Old Joe". Tony looked at the generator mane it sounds like explosions several times, told me he didn't know much about generators he would send "Old Joe". I didn't hear from anyone and called a few days later. Woman said she would check and call back. She didn't call but later Tony called, said the generator couldn't be fixed. There were no parts available because my generator was too old. This was a lie. I called another that fixed the generator. The spark plug was the problem. Tony also told me I had to service the generator when it was only serviced in March. When Tony left he left the generator on so that later that night when we lost power it made those explosion sounds 7 or 8 times. The neighborhood was in an uproar. I never had such an incompetent worker in my presence. Terrible.

I wanted a new television for my basement to go over my workbench. I didn't care as much about resolution, upgraded speaker quality, etc. as it was a little-used television that I listened to more than watched while working on projects. I am not really tech savvy (nearly everything I was looking for was what my wife told me I needed, as I have trouble just getting the remotes to work) so I decided to come here first. The person I talked to was very helpful. He showed me a couple of televisions that would work but one was way more expensive than I needed (his words actually) and the other was so basic that various apps couldn't be installed onto it. He apologized but couldn't recommend spending a lot on a tv here when a cheap Asian import at Walmart would work a lot better. I appreciated his honesty and advice. If I need a really nice television, I will trust the people here.
