From the consult appointment of KC to installation, we are pleased with the excellent customer service. Initially, KC made a visit to consult on our needs. No charge for home visit! He listened and answered our questions. He prepared an estimate that was emailed to us. We approved and paid a deposit. Shortly, after an appointment for installation was set up. The plan-- *Install a new 55" Samsung TV mounted on brick wall above our fireplace. A sound bar was attached to the bottom of the TV. It will improve sound in the large family room with a vaulted ceiling. *Move the 46" Samsung TV we bought from Towne four years ago to another room, the office sitting area. It was mounted on a wall. Service men were efficient and professional. (They removed shoes in the house.) They checked with us about details including appropriate placement. After installation, an informative clear explanation of the remote settings for the tv and for the sound bar were given. They cleaned up. We highly recommend this family owned local business.

I didn't care as much about resolution, upgraded speaker quality, etc. as it was a little-used television that I listened to more than watched while working on projects. I am not really tech savvy (nearly everything I was looking for was what my wife told me I needed, as I have trouble just getting the remotes to work) so I decided to come here first. The person I talked to was very helpful. He showed me a couple of televisions that would work but one was way more expensive than I needed (his words actually) and the other was so basic that various apps couldn't be installed onto it. I needed a TV dismounted from the wall since I was moving - I put in the request 5 days in advance, they ask for 2 or 3. The day before the service, still no word. I called and was told they would turn the call over to a dispatcher and someone would call me that day. How do you say RADIO SILENCE? Later in the day and less than 24 hours before the scheduled service I call and get the same answer. After I kept saying What am I suppose to do since it sounds like you don't have anyone. They at least committed to a dispatcher calling me before the end of the day (it was 9:00 EST).... really?! It is the end of the day. Of course no one called me back. In the mean time I scheduled Geek Squad for $20 more than HT was going to charge me. It was worth the $20 knowing someone would show up. I got an email later on the day the service was suppose to be scheduled saying my appointment was cancelled. Unbelievable - drop the mic! Do not use ET Fay (www.ETFayRemodeling.com)…read more I am building new deck and reached out to TIMBER TECH decking website for contractor referrals. TimberTech gave me ETFay. He texted and called me and I provided ET Fay a list of what I need built (deck, railings, decking colors, lights) and a rough sketch for him to put together a contract and a drawing to attach to building permit. He strung me along...and wanted a commitment to hire him before else even provided a cost/contract. He showed up, measured....a week later I texted him for update (I am in hurry as want to buy the decking as it is on sale thru early June). Asked him for contract and drawing and he said a) I don't provide a drawing without getting the job (remember, he has not provided a cost estimate yet) and b) told me that he is so busy he cannot do any deck work until Spring 2024!. This is all in a text message! Well, why did he even contact me if he is a year out form doing work? Is his demand for a contract without providing costs (an open ended contract!) even legal in NYS? BEWARE! find another contractor and if you do, have your lawyer look over his contract proposal first! And, shame on TimberTech for providing www.ETFayRemodeling.com as a referral!
