There were youngsters taking the selfie game to the next level. Dressed up. Taking their time for the perfect shot. We are Gen X. That said, we just quickly went through each "scene" and took photos and then edited later. We had so much fun and were maybe there for 30 min. You pay the fee, they give you a ring light and a little remote thing and you use your phone. It's so easy and so fun! No matter what age you are - grab a bunch of friends and do this. This adorable studio is nestled within Streets of Woodfield and is just a hidden gem experience. We came in on a Thursday afternoon and had the entire studio to ourselves for a good hour! The associate at the front desk was super enthusiastic, friendly, and amazing. She guided us through the experience and how everything works. She set the tone by being very high energy, fun and helpful. The neat thing about this studio is that it's not just having your friends take photos of you in front of different backdrops.... It's actually having your friends be in the photos too!!! There is actual equipment such as a camera stand, enhanced lighting, and a clicker button provided to you which helps you take the photos. You can literally take as many photos as you want in an hour, and all these photos are taken with your own phone!! The backdrops are gorgeous, detailed and just so much fun. There was over 20 backdrops to choose from. We genuinely had as much fun exploring the different backdrops as we did taking the photos. We felt very safe in the studio. The associate wore a mask when she interacted with us and was constantly cleaning and sanitizing. All back drops were tidy and neat as can be. They even have changing rooms here!? No detail is overlooked The photos definitely speak for themselves and what a great value to get so many photos and have so much fun. The owner at Selfie Wrld went out of his way to accommodate me for my birthday. I gave him a call and he worked some magic to get me in and I ended up having the whole place to myself. This was literally the day before my birthday. They have so many great displays and the vibe was awesome, he even helped me take a few pictures. This place also switches it up for the holidays so the displays don't become outdated so I definitely plan to be back. Selfie world is a SCAM. Had to make reservations online which myself, 2 other moms for our 3 daughters on 12/27/2023 at 6 pm, when we arrived, doors locked no one there. Called for 30 min, emailed no response. It's been a day still no response. I have to call my credit card to have them stop payments. Took pictures of the closed premises. read more

This deserves a zero star rating as this place is a total SCAM!!! I purchased tickets online for 6/1/24. We drove 2 hours, stood outside with other people who also got scammed in the pouring rain for over an hour, spent over $100, and no one showed up to open the place up. Not to mention, we were celebrating my daughters 16th birthday. I have left numerous emails and have not received any response and no refund. This place was a SCAAMMMMMM. Me and my friends drove all the way there (a 1 hour drive) for no one to even be there. The lights were on but the place was closed the whole time. We waited for an hour and no one opened. We went to a business across the street and they said they never saw anyone even go into the building. Save yourself time and money and don't go there. Selfie Wrld was such a good time!! The staff were all really nice and accommodating! They were constantly walking around spraying the rooms and main floor with air freshener and sanitizer, as well as offering and encouraging all of the guests to consistently sanitize their hands. Such a great experience! I was so excited that SelfieWrld opened in my hometown! The staff was super helpful and the rooms looked amazing. Def recommend for anyone trying to take some bomb selfies. They also have dressing rooms to change outfits and ring lights for perfect lighting. I had alot fun and will def be back soon. read more
