It was a total jackpot and easily one of the best parts of my trip. The store is well-organized (a rare find in the thrifting world!) and the inventory turnover seems great, because I found some incredibly unique pieces. I walked away with some fantastic Disneyana collectibles, cool Hawaiiana decor, and a few adorable vintage Christmas decorations. The prices were very fair and reasonable for everything I found. If you're in the area for a swim meet at Utah Tech, hiking Zion National Park, or just need a fun excuse to step away from the in-laws for an hour (ha!), you have to stop here. It's a genuine hidden gem. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone who loves the thrill of finding something special! I'm a post card collector, so I'll start there: A excellent, well-organized, and high-quality selection, especially for U.S. places. Usually a disorganized afterthought, it's great to see well-kept and beautiful post cards. IMHO, Antiques, Etc.'s greatest selling point is its wood furniture: Tall-boys, dropleaf tables, desks, chairs, buffets, China cabinets... to name a few. Is there an overall theme to the stuff? I'd say it has a very Midwestern, early 1900s vibe. It's easy to tell this is a well-curated collection. I do have a small recommend: Simplify the discounts by putting the percentage off right on the tag. The place is a little random in nature, but it's fun to find random stuff like quilting materials and patterns, tobacco canisters, a Band Director's uniform, and my personal fave, the 1940s GE L-916 floor console radio. Co-owner Mick is very friendly and easy to work with. He's been in the antique business for 30 years, and is a welcome addition the St. George antique community!

You'll need to make your own arrangements for packaging and removal of large items. Luckily, we had a friend in the area with a truck who came to our rescue. 4. Downtown Furniture is my new favorite furniture store-and it should be yours too. Joshua was incredibly helpful when my wife and I wandered in looking for some very specific items. He jumped into action (literally-he's got so much energy!) and showed us a few pieces and clearly explained the pros and cons of each. We decided on a couch, a bed set with mattress and night stands-all to be delivered the next working day, which happened to be Labor Day. On the date of delivery, we got a phone call at the anticipated time and the movers arrived to deliver our purchases. Not only did the deliver, but they assembled the bed too-a chore I was not looking forward to, and was much appreciative of them doing. They were professional and took care to not damage the doorway with the heavy items. Our new furniture looks terrific and I'm so glad that I didn't settle elsewhere and continued my search into Downtown. I'll be back!

Came in and browsed on a weekend and we were the only customers, and the lone employee was on the phone the entire time and didn't speak or even make eye contact with us at all as we walked around for 15 minutes. She seemed to be discussing new product with a regular customer, but still, even just acknowledging us should be the minimum. I was really interested in a pair of cowboy boots, but they were priced at $100 with older pricing (from another store?) of $15 on the sole, and that just turned me off completely. Signage indicates that they don't allow returns or exchanges, either.
