Went to Quick Fix in the mall (watch repair) - they said only a jeweler could fix it and they'd take it to one for me for $49.99 and I could pick it up in a few days if it was fixable (!?). In desperation I tried Reed's, a few stores down from them. At first they couldn't do it either and I told them that I wouldn't be upset if they had to damage it and please try again? He said "I only needed to hear that because this will take a lot of pressure." And they removed it, no damage! And wouldn't charge me a penny. They really are the nicest, warmest people, like they really cared about my little issue. I'm not a salesperson-hugging sort of person but I did.
