My wife purchased a watch for me for my birthday, with extended warranty. Within 2 months the time was not kept, meaning my watch lost time and was slow. We took it in, and the first time they simply reset it and said to watch it.
Again it failed to hold time, so the logical solution is change the battery. We took it back in and were informed they needed to send the watch out to have the battery changed due to some seal on the watch. OK no problem. 2 weeks goes by and we hear nothing. So we call, and are informed the watch will be in within a few days and we will get a call. Another week goes by and nothing. So we go in. We are informed whoever is in charge of sending the watch out sent it to the WRONG place for warranty work, and FAILED on receiving the watch back to send it to the correct place. The watch was sitting the entire time, and no one could tell us that. Every person we spoke to, always a different person, lied about what was going on, or could not be bothered to find out. When my wife went in to speak to the man in charge of sending the watches out, he gave her an attitude (despite us waiting over a month now for a battery change, and him failing to send it to the right place).
Now, a 400$ watch has had a pin fall out of a link. We took it in and again are told it has to be sent out for a pin.
