Treatments are expensive and not a great quality. The facility is dirty and run down. The online booking doesn't operate correctly.

We went to the spa. Great experience. Swam in the pool, used to sauna. We had a great time there and everyone was really friendly.

Absolutely beautiful location. Once in the spa waiting room, it was a cozy, dim lit ambiance. Quiet room with a crackling fireplace. We scheduled a couples massage. We chose some add ons, they didn't have the Thai coconut milk so my boyfriend didn't end up getting any extras. I did the dry brush, not sure it was worth it. They also did some essential oil scents, very nice. Didn't really add much to the experience, besides a nice scent. My massage overall was nice. My boyfriend's massage I could tell was very good. His therapist asked questions and even gave him some tips and tricks for tight muscles and other issues he has. She was very helpful and did a great job on his hard back. After our massage we went back to the sitting area where we had a beverage of our choice, from their menu (mimosa, champagne, Sparkling apple cider, etc.). Once we went back to the locker room there was a sauna, steam bath, swimming pool, and showers we could enjoy. I'd highly recommend going to the Spa at Semiahmoo. We came here for a family vacation, seven families paying $600 dollars each for 3 nights. This place is not ready to open as a resort. Very little is open that would make it a true resort. Tennis courts are closed, tennis has been open in WA state for a long time now. No pickle ball they are using it for storage for what? Very limited pool times available but a $25 resort fee per day. Rooms weren't ready when we arrived the requested rooms that were confirmed earlier in the day were gone!! I understand that we are in difficult times but you have to "up your game" to attract people not the other way. It's going to be a long time before I come back here and spend the kind of money our family spent here. read more

I got two hair treatments here--a scalp treatment and a blowout. I paid $70 for both. Needless to say I'm very disappointed. My hair stylist, to begin with, was not friendly at all. Very awkward when you're getting your hair done. All in all, she spent 30 minutes with me. The blowout alone was supposed to be 45 minutes. The scalp treatment was more so just a $25 deep conditioner, the scalp "massage" was a scalp rub for 30 seconds. The blowout was, in a word, painful. I had my neck as stiff as possible and she was still tugging my head ahout every which way. She kept ramming the brush into my scalp and pulling as hard as possible to the point where I could feel (and hear) my hair breaking. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because, in the end, my hair at least feels nice. read more

Had a deep tissue with Tamara. Iam super super picky!!!!!!! She really worked all my sore areas did an amazing job!!!!!!! She is very talented and if I lived near I would make her a therapist I would see regularly. There was a small mess up with the front i had an 80 min session booked, when I arrived i qas was told it was only 50 min . Tamara was really apologetic. When finished the front office gave me an option to pick a stuffed animal which was nice and "cute". (They knew i had kids) Spa had a relaxation room with tea, infused water, and nuts. read more

We came here to celebrate our 1 yr married Anniversary. Where do I start? Located at the Semiahmoo resort and spa, we were greeted by Carlin (not sure the spelling) she was nice and friendly. She took us to the Locker rooms the get changed into our robes. Bathrooms are large with 6 showers, a steam room, sauna room, restroom (separated) lounge room, and it connects to the pool. After we got dressed we went to the quiet room and sit by the fire where we waited for our massage therapist. There is water and tea if you want. Melissa was one of our massage therapist and she was awesome. She had magic hands. It starts by laying stomach down and she just worked her magic. Couples massage was one of the best experiences we did. 50 mins we wanted more... We highly recommend it and please add an extra gratuity for everything f hey do. My back and body never felt the same. I feel more relax and I actually feel younger lol. Have fun! read more

Beautiful grounds and facility, but disappointing experience. I had a pedicure and my nail tech was late and kept leaving the room (not sure why) during my treatment. She seemed rushed, distracted and unprofessional. The pedi itself was standard, no extras and over-priced for what it offered. I arrived several hours earlier to enjoy the spacious pool and grounds which is included with all appointments. Absolutely gorgeous in summer! This would have been a five-star experience without the poor service. Visit the spa at the Chrysalis for the best pedicures in town! read more

My girlfriend signed us up for a couples massage as part of our relaxing New Years celebration. The woman at the front desk was warm and friendly, and our massages were awesome! I had Christopher, who was very communicative and checked in with me several times to make sure the pressure was right and that I was feeling good. My girlfriend had Heather, and was so relaxed that she fell asleep. Afterward, we received champagne and chocolate truffles in the relaxation room. I feel I was being rushed through my exfoliating treatment.She finished everything in 35 minutes which includes a 10 minutes shower which I did not know about.The strokes she used wasn't something to die for either ,I have had better massages in the local chains instead. Won't return read more

The spa (and entire facility) charges 5 star rate for 2 star services. Online they look both clean and professional - in reality, it's a McDonalds cheeseburger - disappointing, misleading with bait and switch tactics. DO NOT rely on this resorts claims or promises - rather go with for other resorts and hotels, as they care and regularly deliver what they promise - Semaihmoo will not deliver what they assure you will receive prior to your visit.9 read more

For our 25th anniversary my husband and I had a couples massage and a scalp treatment. The message was just ok for us. I really enjoyed the scalp treatment. that was the best part. I hated the quiet room.. to many people and I hated the fact that you had a shower room shared with the pool and fitness center with lockers to change for your message. Felt weird. Not sure I would do that again. I like private. read more

Pilates class was great. Lisa was very helpful and mindful of my shoulder issues and helped me work out a good plan for improving that cranky body part. A relaxed atmosphere and small class made it a pleasure. I will be back for other classes soon. read more

My friends and I planned a spa and lunch day at Semiahmoo Resort. We were asked to arrive 20 minutes prior to our appointment time. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming and informative. She walked us to the locker room to change and lock away our personal belongings. The lockers are located in a narrow hallway leading to the fitness center and indoor tennis court. We relaxed in their "quiet room" while enjoying a cucumber infused water and gourmet nuts. The room is dim-lit, comfortable and smelled of lavander. I booked a 50-minute massage with Amanda. The massage room was smaller than some spas I have been to, but it was clean, dim-lit and had a relaxing feel. The massage was wonderful with Amanda checking on how I was doing every so often. I injured my foot recently and she made sure she did not put any pressure on that foot. The massage seemed longer than 50 minutes which meant I was very relaxed :-) ! Prices were reasonable and the massage was wonderful. The spa also carries shirts, costume jewelry, scarves, natural lotions, soaps and bath salts in their retail area. If there was one thing I wish was different was the location of their massage rooms. The rooms are located at the entry to the locker rooms by the long hallway to the indoor court. I wish the spa would have been on a separate wing from the gym area. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Semiahmoo Resort this past weekend and it was such a great experience. I booked a massage and facial for my wife at the spa on location and she told me that the massage was really good but the facial was what made her weekend! When we walked in the staff was very friendly and courteous which made the atmosphere of the spa that much better. read more
