What a great place to go drink, eat and play. Satellite Pinball Lounge has the coolest vibes. So many unique pinball machines available to play that costs only a $1 a game. The interior is dark with neon lights. Drink holders are attached to the machine to store your drink while playing. They have a lot of fresh draft beers and bottled beers to choose from. I had a Samuel Adams seasonal draft beer on tap that was cold and crisp. The service was excellent and attentive. Food is offered from the pizza restaurant that is connected and is very convenient. Stopped in to Satellite Pinball on Friday for lunch since I noticed they now extended their hours on fridays. First off - immediately passes the vibe check. Its got an old school arcade feel with the sounds and lights of the pinball machines instantly making me feel at home. We sat at the bar and we were greeted by the bartender Liz. She gave us some suggestions and took our drink orders. They have a TON of drinks on the menu. Beer on draft, cans, bottles, seltzers, surfsides, sake and others. And then the food which is mainly comprised of pizza, stormbolis and a couple sides. We ended up ordering a few pies and some fries. Seasoned waffle fries are always a win for me so those were on point. The pies we got were The Eclipse (Sausage, Pepperoni, Ricotta and Basil), the The Gigante (Sausage, Mushrooms and Olives) and the Upside Down (provolone, mozzarella and sauce on top - not pictured) My personal favorite was the eclipse. With the salty meats, creamy ricotta and perfectly cooked crust this was a home run. (8.6) The gigante was also delicious. I was apprehensive when I saw olives that it would be too salty, but the balance was great. (7.8) The upside, while good, was my least favorite. Their sauce is incredible, but I think when you compare it to the other two it just didnt have the flavors I wanted as it was more of a basic pie. (7.1) Liz was spot on with the suggestions and the service. We will be back to Satellite over and over. read more

Stopped in for the first time on a rainy night. Initially, we were coming just to try the pizza. We asked what we should try and were told the Pepperoni H is the most popular. We added mushrooms. We decided to grab a beer and eat at the bar. After watching everyone else play, we joined in on the fun. It takes 1 token to play each machine and it's $1 per token. The machines were fun and the atmosphere was fun. The pizza came out hot and fresh. The taste was good but the toppings were sparse. The bartender was friendly and fun. Overall good experience. Boring Friday night turned into "mom's a hero night" with $20 in tokens, a cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks and a cold beer (for me. Not the 9 yr olds). The sticks are upper solid. Plump and crispy until the last bite. The pizza was ordered "extra crispy" and it was perfect. They devoured it all. The staff was friendly and welcoming to us. read more

Gen X childhood revisited! How about an evening of pinball games and a beverage for under $20? There's about 20 machines, games are $1 each (you have to buy tokens), and there's a bar in the middle with a pizza shop attached next door (connected inside). There were no gluten free food options, but the bar had gluten free options. We each played 10 games and I had a couple hard ciders at happy hour (nice deal!). When I say I was blown away with Satellite Pinball Lounge, I really mean it! It was way cooler than I expected! They are owned by the same owners of the Glitch Bar in Flagler village which is a barcade, but Satellite Pinball Lounge has a lot of the aspects of Glitch but makes it unique with a different spin on it all! Once inside, I didn't realize there would be space within the Pizza restaurant side itself and the Pinball lounge. It made the location feel spacious and not claustrophobic which is sometimes the case with Glitch. However, this location is exclusively Pinball machines, and you must pay $1 for a token which each machine takes a token for gameplay. Games last as long as you survive which is all based on Pinball skill. They have a bunch of machines with a ton of cool themes so you definitely have a ton of options. The bar is also a bit U shape so it is a spacious with seating options on the outside of the bar as well. Now what really stood out for me is the food options. I thought the pizza was extremely good. I would definitely come back for pizza and pinball again just from that aspect. The tap selection and other drinks on the menu were all very appealing too. I really enjoy the lounge feel of this location as it makes it feel chill and slower paced which is good for a bar. The parking is also free all along Oakland park which is another great selling point. I cannot wait to visit again soon and do it all again! read more

This place is so cool! Chill and friendly staff with lots of beverage options, even stuff for kids with sodas and great food as part of this joint with all the pizza. They make it fresh! The best part though is the vibe with all the pinball games. Tons to play each with a different theme. Be prepared to have cash to get tokens to play but bar guys gave me some change. It's reasonable to play a few for $10. Also have hand sanitizer and clean bathroom after playing all the games. read more

As a lover of pinball- this place was amazing!! The pinball machines were so fun. They had everything from LED Zeppelin to Stranger Things. They have a bar with all kinds of goodies, even THC drinks. There's a machine where you put your cash in and get tokens to play. There's drink holders on the machines which is a smart idea, but I had a wine glass, and it toppled out and shattered everywhere which was super embarrassing, but they didn't make me feel bad lol. Pizza place is also attached which was also amazing and I'll review next. I will absolutely return to defeat the Stranger Things demagorgon! lol read more

We had a surprise belated birthday here for a pinball loving friend and we could not have had a better experience. The age range of people we came with started at 8 and went to 84 and we all had fun! The service was fantastic and we never waited to get a drink at the bar more than seconds...really impressive. The hot honey pepperoni pizza was delicious and if you are a fan of good rock music then the background music will make you endlessly happy. The game selection was very decent and all machines were in great condition. The parking lot is small but there is plenty of additional free parking around the corner. I thought this place was a welcome addition to the area. All the machines are working and they look close to new. Expect $1 per game. Place was very clean and there is a central bar and a pizza place next door for some drinks and food. There is parking in the back, slightly north of the bar or you can park on Dixie Highway and walk across. It stays open from 12 to 12 on weekends and about 5 to 12 on weekdays. I know I will be back because I love pinball. If you like this type of set up then you're really going to enjoy yourself. read more

OMG! WOW! This is a haven for pinheads! I love pinball machines and they had tons of Stern pinball machines like John Wick, Jaws, Star Wars, Rush, Star Trek, Stranger Things and Godzilla. I've gone a few times in the past 2 months and love coming here to enjoy some time on the pinball machines. The drinks are amazing and they have some awesome food especially from Moon Pizza Pie which is in the same building. The positive is the calzone was good for South Florida standards. And the people working there were friendly. The pinball machine restaurant is a Cute concept, the decor looks great and the pinball machines look great. However, I think the layout of the restaurant seemed a little disjointed. I went here because of a news article saying it was the best calzone in South Florida. That is arguable. I have definitely had better. The menu said it had cheese running throughout the crust of the calzone which I thought was unusual, but I was looking forward to trying it. It had a role going all around the border of the calzone, but there was no cheese inside of it. I'm not sure if they forgot it or what happened. It also had alot of yellow cheese inside of the calzone which gave it a different flavor and for me there was not enough ricotta cheese. And placing the plastic cup of sauce inside of the calzone dough was strange and unhygienic The staff unfortunately seemed a little disorganized. There was more workers than there were people inside the restaurant however they seemed to be behind in getting the orders up. Perhaps because it's still relatively new they are ironing out their system. Because of the friendliness of the staff, cute concept and pretty good flavor of the calzone I am leaning more towards giving them four stars. read more
