Nala is ready to go to her new home :)

I had a great experience today with adopting a cat and felt like the people who work here really care about the animals finding forever homes. They have a cat room where the cats get to roam around freely and you can even watch them on a live cam prior to your visit. When we went to pick out our cat it was like going to one of those cat cafes where the cats are so happy and friendly. You do need to call first to make an appointment but it's not that hard and there is no pressure to hurry or long waits. The actual adoption process is quick and easy. We got to bring our new kitty home within 30 minutes of picking her out in a nice box house with some treats. They also have odds and ends you can purchase that were nice but you have to bring cash for those items.

I adopted a cat from them in 2016. We love him soooo much. He is now about 11 years old and I cherish the day we found each other. He walked up to me at the shelter and stood by my feet.

I called to see if I could donate "lightly" used beds. They were very thankful. The staff was very attentive and respected my time in line

Susan was incredibly helpful with answering any emails I sent and was very responsive. This was my first time fostering and it was on a Saturday morning that I saw some puppies needed a foster, so I did not have any pet supplies at home on hand the same day. They provided me with everything I needed and even toys and food for the puppies. I purchased some more toys and pee pads to donate back to the shelter one I returned the pups. After two weeks they were much bigger and ready to be adopted! I returned them back to Susan at the shelter and I was so happy I did it and plan to foster again. They are a fantastic organization and I highly recommend going to the Orlando Pet Alliance if you are looking to adopt a dog or cat. They are a great organization if you are looking to become a foster as well. Adopt, don't shop!

Well let me start with this. I called to make an appt. Anna the virtual assistant ran me around…read morethru prompts, but it's AI what can you expect. I needed to get Willow spayed but needed to know the procedure and cost and from the website described it's an exam first before any work is done. No pricing or questions answered online only the bounce back and forth. I made a blind appointment (online only) and went to the Sanford location. They told me the exam was 35.00 BUT WAIT AN ADDITIONAL 150.FOR BLOOD WORK IS NEEDED. This only took 10 minutes in and out, great when I went to checkout, the girl asked for 235.00! I clearly heard 185.00. Then she said your dog is over 5 years old (I TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS BEFORE WE AGREED ON THE VISIT never mentioningthe +50.00) and the blood work would be an additional 50.00. You can see clearly see the road we are going down. I said "no I'm paying 185.00 like you originally told me!". She apologized and asked for the higher balance which I wouldn't have minded if she just gave me the proper quote in the beginning. I refused and asked for the manager. She went to the back and came forward and told me the manager was busy! I just knew we're going to have an issue here. I asked for someone to talk to. Meantime I was very calm and polite but adamantly courteous. Finely after her returning a second time she said she could remove the additional balance. I told her thank you and proceeded to pay. She noted the balance was now 265.00. Like Whaaa... She said I'd have to pay half the procedure before we can book the operation. She said maybe next week after the blood work is reviewed in 2 days. So I'm paying 185.00 and not knowing what the blood work is, and I need that info before we can even do the procedure? Yes! she might be to old she said. OMG!! I told her "I'll pay what I owe you, and call me in 3 days with the results. She agreed. TWO WEEKS LATER. After numerous calls for my results and no emails or call backs. Calling Anna the AI took all my information again and again I even tried to spoof the AI telling her I have a large monetary donation for Pet Alliance but three days later....NO CALLS! So I took a morning off and went up there to speak to the head of the clinic (not mentioning any names) and I got a circling of the wagon by the Indians. HER explanation was "The doctor was out for A WEEK, he couldn't do any operations". So no results, no paperwork, no money back and I'm out the door. Thank God I never paid for the operation and used a CC. MORAL OF THIS STORY....Get you quote in advance. Ask all the right questions and don't assume. If you have an issue after surgery or an ailment for your Furry friend could you get ahold of someone there for help maybe an emergency number? Any questions about add on pricing? NO while I was waiting to be seen, a man walked in with a HUGE bag of dog food . He came back out yelling "I can't even get a receipt for my donation" and walked out with the bag!. Upper management listen. If your to big for your pants remember one moldy grape keeps people from buying the vine. I'm just a small nobody and who cares. I could have taken my pup to LA. Underhill animal clinic where all 3 of my Dutch Shepards have gone, but (I thought) would have liked the funds go to a good cause in our community! Maybe not? That's my story and I wish you well!

On September 9th, my family adopted two kittens, Aren and Delle, from this rescue. We were told they had recently recovered from an upper respiratory infection and were now healthy. Unfortunately, less than a month later, our sweet Delle passed away on October 10th from FIP -- a fatal illness that likely developed from an infection that hadn't fully resolved. We followed all the recommended vet care and sought immediate treatment the moment she showed signs of illness, but despite every effort, she declined quickly. It was a deeply traumatic and heartbreaking experience for our family -- and for Aren, her sister, who is now grieving as well. I want to make it clear that I deeply understand and appreciate the mission behind animal rescues and the challenges they face in caring for so many animals in need. My intention in sharing this isn't to criticize, but to hopefully encourage more thorough medical reviews and communication before adoption. Even small improvements in diligence could help prevent another family from being blindsided by such a devastating situation. I emailed the rescue on October 11th, not in anger but simply to inform them of what happened. Unfortunately, I never received a response. Delle was deeply loved and is deeply missed. I truly hope that sharing her story leads to positive changes for future adoptions -- and to more happy, healthy forever homes.

Please keep in mind that if you decide to foster or adopt a pup from them, they will definitely take all measures to make sure they find the right home for their dogs. For those of you that don't know anything about BT's I have to tell you that they're a great dog... silly, funny, crazy, sweet, smart and extremely loyal. I used to volunteer a lot, then got out of it as I got older, and was happy to have volunteering put in the forefront of the news with Disney. I knew the volume of people signing up for events, and was pleasantly surprised when I painted a house with Hands On Orlando. The day consisted of painting four houses, with 100 volunteer expected. The HOO coordinator was very organized, arrived early and was very friendly. There was a HOO coordinator for each house, and one who monitored the whole project. They were very clear in their directions, and made a very humid day painting a house in not a great neighbor hood a great experience. Being an annual passholder for Disney, I wasn't worried about the processing time for the receipt of the Disney voucher, and yet it was in my email by Tuesday. Its kind of sad, the coordinator said that the month before, for the same event they had only twenty volunteers, and now all their events are full. While we appreciate all the Disney is doing to help communities, I sure wish more people would volunteer without having to be bribed, and I can't wait til we do it again!

Disabled their whole page and social media due to being caught. Do not use. Bailey and Reagan are not good people or the animal lovers they pretend to be. *Update- nice of them to reply. However the business was only in business for one month and they are already being criminally investigated and potentially sued. If you are a pet rescue you are supposed to take in animals whose owners passed but did not want the animal put down. That is the definition of a rescue and not people giving up on animals. Instead you took the dog of a man who passed and surrendered him to a kill shelter while taking money from the estate for food and expenses for the dog. Based on your reply I can see why the business only lasted a month (even though you portrayed that you were doing this a long time and were reputable). I guess the imbecile thing was people not doing enough research to know this was not the case. I am glad you will no longer be in the position to take advantage of vulnerable people trying to figure out what to do with a loved ones animal during their worst time. Considering in this case the family drove to the kill shelter to recuse the dog just shows how involved they were and what a con artist you are. *
