A Turnaround Thanks to Judy and Michelle's Compassion and Professionalism After a rocky start with Pet Rescue by Judy, I'm happy to say that our experience took a very positive turn thanks to the direct involvement of Judy herself and her manager, Michelle. Our initial experience was admittedly disappointing and emotionally draining. The communication was slow, and a misunderstanding about a name on public records led to confusion and frustration, especially during an already sensitive and hopeful time as we were trying to adopt a kitten we had connected with. However, everything changed once Judy personally reached out to us. She took the time to listen, clarify the situation, and most importantly--make it right. She was kind, understanding, and sincere in wanting to resolve the issue. She then assigned her manager, Michelle, to step in and ensure everything was handled professionally and respectfully. Michelle was equally wonderful--compassionate, responsive, and proactive. She restored our faith in the process and reminded us why rescues like PRBJ do such important work. We are truly grateful to both Judy and Michelle for going above and beyond. Their dedication and kindness turned our initial disappointment into appreciation. It's clear that they care deeply about both the animals and the people involved in the adoption process. We're glad this ended on a much more positive note and appreciate all the hard work they do every day. -- AJ Alvarez

This is our fur baby in his first outing

This place is absolutely amazing. They helped us find our forever fur baby. We are so thankful for Carol for going above and beyond taking care of our baby before we got him. I would definitely recommend adopting a pet from Pet Rescue by Judy. What an amazing place. Keep doing good things by rehoming these fur babies

We came here to adopt a new puppy after our last pup passed. Judy and here team were very understanding of our situation and quite nice throughout the entire process. We viewed a few pups they had, all of whom seemed well loved and cared for. They truly care about the animals they home. There was a thorough screening process as well to ensure that we as adopters were well fit for their pups. When we came to the facility we were able to meet and play with the dogs. They sent us home with a harness, leash, food, and food bowl for our new baby. It was such great care!

Is there any rating lower than 1 star? PetRescueByJudy certainly deserves it. They are super racist, unpolite, rude, aggressive, and discriminatory and abusive with elderly and disabled people. They used the disabled parking spots to load and unload their dogs like those spots were created for their personal use. The attached photo is Judy Sarullo, the owner, who is very proud of breaking the law: The PetRescueByJudy vehicles were parked in the disabled spots to unload the dogs when we got there. We were forced to park across the road and walk to the show because they were using both spots in front of the O'Leary's Irish Pub. And we had three disabled humans with us, and permanent disabled car tag, and a Medical Four Wheel Walker Rollator among us. Here's the story: We took our elderly neighbor to see the dogs at this October 2nd Adoption Event and to buy an emotional support animal, but their refuse us their services because our friend is too old. According to PetRescueByJudy, our elderly friend didn't fit the PetRescueByJudy requirement BECAUSE OF HER AGE. And they were worried, and I quote, of she dying before the dog. Isn't that a bit rude? They stated that her apartment building didn't allow dogs over 50 pounds. This was a lie. On top of that, they didn't know where she lived. We had brought our Lease Agreement, but no one was trying to have a conversation. We wondered about their assumption, and the PetRescueByJudy employees decided to turn her back on us and walked away. I sat down outside the pub, and the lady from the photo approached me and started insulting me, and then pushed me. Then a male PetRescueByJudy employee got on my face, insulted me too, and almost hit me. I was afraid that he would jump on me and punch me. They even went the extra mile and told the O'Leary's Irish Pub manager to kick us out of the area. And the O'Leary's Irish Pub went after us. I had asked for the menu and a glass of water, but never received anything. We also informed the manager about our previous conversation with PetRescueByJudy using the disabled parking spaces in front of his business, but he said it was not his responsibility. PetRescueByJudy is a bad place to get dogs. Nevertheless, their dogs are the best humans.

I cannot say enough words about this organization. Kind and professional are just a few. They do their utmost best to ensure that each animal is placed in the right home- so very thankful to have been recommended to Judy's-- thank you to all the staff and taking care of so many furbabies!! All animals are special in their sight and this is an amazing, amazing facility!!

I am astounded at the heartlesness of this request.

After turning my husband and I down for our pup, this past week they had the nerve to send a donation request. We're too old for that too.

Thank you Judy for my Rosie. 6 months into having her, I don't think I could have found a more perfect dog for me. This organization does so much for animals and I am so grateful you all exist! When we came by, the pet rescue had brought a couple of dogs to a car dealership where she was trying to get more viewership for the animals they were adopting out. When I met my Rosie, she was very quiet and I remember telling Judy that it was great cause she didn't bark at all. Judy looked me straight in the eye and told me this dog definitely barks, sometimes she barks a lot. We adopted Rosie anyways, and she does bark a lot, and we love her so much we don't care. But I will always remember Judy's honesty about that situation. It shows what type of person she is and that she wants the dogs to go to families that will realistically keep them and not just get rid of the dogs. Anyways, thanks again. I hope more people know about the great work you do!

When I went to Paw park today like I do several times a week, my dog was approached by a guy who came to the dog park without a dog and he tossed a toy to try to get my dogs attention. When I asked him where his dog was , he told me he didn't have a dog and was a volunteer for the park. I told him that was almost the equivalent of going to a kids park and trying to coax a child with a lollipop. I told him to stay away from me and my dogs and he threatened me and said he'd do whatever he wanted and I couldn't do anything about it. When he finally did leave, he went across the street and returned with Judy herself and she attempted to read me the riot act but I shut that down immediately. She then started yelling at me and calling me named and actually made the statement that I was Old and Mean. If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is. Then she called the police like I had done something wrong. I've heard about people who have found their missing dogs at her place of business which doesn't make it a rescue, it makes it a fencing ring for pets. There is no doubt in my mind this guy was trying to steal my dog for profit. This woman makes a lot of money off the backs of many animals misfortune. I am going to include a picture of the guy that I think is a thief who steals dogs for Judy to sell at a large profit.

I knew the volume of people signing up for events, and was pleasantly surprised when I painted a house with Hands On Orlando. The day consisted of painting four houses, with 100 volunteer expected. The HOO coordinator was very organized, arrived early and was very friendly. There was a HOO coordinator for each house, and one who monitored the whole project. They were very clear in their directions, and made a very humid day painting a house in not a great neighbor hood a great experience. Being an annual passholder for Disney, I wasn't worried about the processing time for the receipt of the Disney voucher, and yet it was in my email by Tuesday. Its kind of sad, the coordinator said that the month before, for the same event they had only twenty volunteers, and now all their events are full. While we appreciate all the Disney is doing to help communities, I sure wish more people would volunteer without having to be bribed, and I can't wait til we do it again!
