Upon…read morecheck out, all health concerns were addressed and the store manager as well as sales associate shared with us that her health was 100%. They threw in once we paid $7,000 that she had a "minor" surgery on her lower stomach (inguinal hernia repair) and that it was common. This information wasn't disclosed to us prior to our interest in taking her home. None the less, we took her home with us (back to upstate NY) where she developed more issues her first few days home. She had a upper respiratory infection, and her sutures were probing inside her stomach.. causing to open up and bleed. These were never removed and/or were we given after care instructions. Luckily we have an amazing vet here who helped us with everything. She had 1 visit to the after hours urgent care.. along with various other nights we considered taking her. She has been in and out of the vet. THEN, ever since she had been home she had coughing, sneezing, kennel cough, loose stools, as well as a UTI.. which as of yesterday.. we were told lab results showed a bacterial infection.. that we've tried to treat but the antibiotic did not fight it. As vet bills have added up every week, as dog owners know can be extremely expensive.. we will do what we can to make sure she is back to normal health.. which she may have never been coming from that place. Our vet is now reaching out to Cornell Medical for further advice. We have had nothing but problems with our poor puppy and pray for good health but would NOT recommend purchasing a puppy from this business. ANYONE who is willing or able to forward this to anyone with authority that can close this place down and put an end to how they treat and handle these poor puppies I highly encourage you do.

The staff is so kind and informative. They let you know if there were any concerns with your pets behavior or eating habits. They are super accommodating and allow you to bring your pets favorite toy or treats and even their bed for boarding. They keep detailed notes and ensure they understand what your pets needs are and how to care for them . They even administer meds for your pet. They have surveillance and you can watch you pet play during the day using the odoggy app. You only have access to the cameras at night if your pet is staying in a VIP room. They have treat options like hot dogs and ice cream and grooming options for your pet during their stay. My favorite time is when I pick my pup up and she is so happy to see me and the staff provides a picture and/ or report card of how her stay went. Nice size parking lot and right off the highway for pet parents.., little shop inside for last minute needs, they also have indoor and outdoor areas for the pups and a puppy pool. Prices are going up a few dollars in September but currently a small room is $53 per night.. I believe VIP is $75 per night but is a larger room with a TV and camera access for pet parents. They do have a fees for late pickups and different things so just keep in mind because that can add up quickly. All in all my pups loves this place and sleeps for two days after all the playing she does while here. This will continue to be my go to. Even with the pending price increase, they are right in line with similar boarding facilities in the area

We did need our prescription card in order to purchase it so make sure that you go to the Banfield desk in order to get that. I would recommend taking a picture of the card once you have it so it's handy for future purchases. The employees were friendly and answered all of our questions. We're new to having to get prescription food so we had lots of questions. The costs seem pretty average compared to what you see online for other retailers. They have a little dog potty break area just outside. I was able to walk my dog around the aisles and he enjoyed looking at the fish, gerbils, and birds.

I've been coming here for the past two years consistently with my Shiba Inu and my go to vet is Dr. Embriali (hope I spelled his name correctly). He is so attentive to my dog and knows his history that I feel comfortable leaving my CJ there. It's like he gives each of his fur patients his undivided attention without rushing no matter how hectic his day can get. When my CJ has procedures done he calls me to give me an update on my furbaby and expresses to me his concerns. He'll inform me of things I should get for my pet but never makes me feel like I'm forced to buy it if I don't have he funds. The wellness plan is incredible and they have different types to fit your fur baby needs, wether it's a puppy or an older pet. So much is included FREE office visits, vaccines, annual exams, labs and more. The only thing you would have to pay out of pocket would be medication. The only down side besides being inside a petsmart which can get loud, is that sometimes it gets disorganized and sometimes you can be waiting what it seems like forever. I feel at times they can be short staffed however, I haven't had a rude encounter with any of the staff so that's why I keep coming here.

Dr. Fife was honest, thorough, kind, and made sure we knew what our options were and what he thought was the best option for Owen's quality of life after an iris melanoma diagnosis. She…read moreactually initially recommend another Dog Ophthalmologist but after reading reviews I decided to go with Dr. Fife instead. My first and only child is a Chihuahua named Brinkley. He will be 15 in July of 2023. Other than his eyes, and some hearing loss, he's in excellent condition. During the initial visit in June of 2022, Dr. Fife basically said his cataracts were not bad enough to go through with surgery at that time because with cataract surgery come lots of risks. Today 2/20/23 we went back for a recheck as they recommend in 6 months but more so because I was noticing more vision issues, most noticeable flinching/twitching when the sun shines in his eyes or sometimes when I go to pet him. During todays visit, Dr. Fife said his cataracts have progressed from 50% to more like 50-75% which was disappointing to hear but most importantly he believed the flinching/twitching I was describing was due to progressing dementia. He said dementia patients often have increased sensitivity to light and even if he did surgery on his eyes, the issues I am having may not go away due to the dementia. He also said dementia patients often have trouble with the anesthesia. It was very hard to hear that my first child has something that there is no cure for, but I do appreciate Dr. Fife's honesty and not trying to sell me cataract surgery just so they can make some money. I think Dr. Fife knows what he is doing and I highly recommend him if you have any issues with your dog's vision. Although it appears he's not going to be able to do anything for my baby, I will sing Dr. Fife's praises to everyone I know and if I have another dog in the future that has any type of eye issue, I will most definitely be back. Additionally, the office staff is friendly and they are on time! I drove all the way from Ormond Beach to see Dr. Fife and had to take the day off work but his expertise was worth it! I wanted to be sure to write this review so others can feel good about choosing this practice as I know I rely on reviews heavily especially when it comes to taking my baby somewhere.
