PREP/PRE-WEDDING: The ELV team was incredible at answering all our questions. I am typically a Type A individual, so I had a lot of questions leading up to our date. Despite them being busy doing other elopements, they would always reply, though sometimes I'd have to email again to follow up. As the date grew closer, they gave me a personal coordinator on their team, Lorana, that I could text questions or changes to, and she was responsive and took care of everything and made me feel at ease. They were quick to update the invoice and contract as I made changes, which was comforting. They recalled every detail from all my emails and texts - nothing was forgotten or missed, and every detail was covered. About one week prior to our wedding, I received an email that detailed EVERYTHING: the wedding team, the vendors, the timeline, instructions for the wedding party and the guests, everything. THE BIG DAY: Absolute perfection. Martha was our coordinator on that day, but there was an additional coordinator for the wedding party. I mention this specifically because I had our wedding procession timed nearly to the second based on the song, the party, and my bridal entrance. They listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I also requested to not see my groom until I was walking down the aisle, and they arranged it perfectly to keep me hidden. When I say they listen to you, THEY LISTEN TO YOU. The cake was beautiful, the decorations of the cake/champagne cart was perfect, and Martha did an amazing job at EVERYTHING - she kept me from not stressing out, she fixed my veil, she gave me tips, and she directed us on what to do without making anyone feel like it was "directed" per se... IT ALL FLOWED SO SMOOTHLY. The vendors they selected were great, and I'll write separate reviews for each of them, but know that the vendor team they select is all high quality and professional, 100%. OVERALL: Looking back would I have changed anything? No. The ELV team took care of everything, every detail, every feasible request. I had nothing to worry about and THAT ALLOWED ME TO BE PRESENT AND ENJOY OUR BIG DAY. And at the end of the day, that's the whole reason we hired them! I cannot recommend them enough! One of the main reasons we chose The Grove was because of how inclusive and welcoming they are to LGBTQ+ couples. They made us feel completely comfortable, supported and celebrated from start to finish. Our coordinator, Bre, was absolutely incredible. She was thorough, precise and extremely responsive to every question and need we had throughout the planning process. She had every detail of our decor and instructions coordinated for our reception. It was clear she paid attention to everything and left nothing out! On the day of, she helped me put on my veil before everything began and bustled my dress before our grand entrance. We didn't have bridesmaids so she was my lifesaver. Even though her role officially ends when dinner is served, she made sure we had everything we needed before she left. Her care and attention made such a difference and helped calm so many of our anxieties. She was a delight! Ariel, who handled our cake, was also wonderful to work with. We ended up using her rentals for drapery and flower balls to decorate the ceremony space. It looked amazing and came together wonderfully. Luke, our DJ and Emcee, was fantastic. We worked with him on our music, timeline, chain of events, monogram, lighting, and Photo Booth. He kept everything running smoothly and made the reception enjoyable. We highly recommend adding the extras offered from The Grove Entertainment. They are 100% worth every penny and made a huge difference in the overall atmosphere. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Our family, friends, and coworkers could not stop talking about it. We received many compliments from our guests throughout the night and afterward. They had no idea somewhere like this even existed in Las Vegas! We also appreciated how The Grove offers recommended vendors for items not included in your package. They are flexible and we utilized our own photographer to work with. It was nice to have the option to either use their trusted recommendations or personalize certain vendors ourselves. The food was good, the staff were friendly and the entire team helped make our wedding day feel seamless and stress-free. Another huge bonus was they allow dogs to be part of your ceremony, which was important to us. We knew we wanted our dog to be part of it from the start. The Grove does it all! All tasty but I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a beef option. We thoroughly enjoyed the open bar and I tried my first pineapple and Malibu rum. Delicious! Oddly the cake was not on display and was not brought out until after dinner was done and the dancing started. By that time we were almost three hours in and ready to leave so we didn't get a slice. And we were not allowed to take pictures but I'm sure that was at the request of the family who had two photographers working the room. I would definitely book an event here.

Unfortunately, despite the significant amount of money spent and the amount of planning that went into the event, the execution on the wedding day was filled with mistakes that should never have happened. The first issue was the ceremony music. Not only was the song lineup incorrect, but the song played for my walk down the aisle was not even on my approved playlist. To this day, I have no idea what song I actually walked down the aisle to. After months of planning and carefully selecting music, this was incredibly disappointing. Transportation was another major issue. The limousine and buses we paid for had little to no air conditioning. This was not an isolated incident either. I experienced the same problem during transportation earlier in the week. My bridal party and I spent a considerable amount of money on professional hair and makeup only to be sweating in overheated vehicles immediately before the ceremony. I also paid for a wedding cake and never received it. The cake was apparently left behind at the chapel, and nobody provided it to us after the ceremony. Considering everything that was happening that day, this wasn't something I should have had to track down myself. A week before the wedding, I provided a detailed processional lineup for the wedding party. It appears that nobody reviewed it because the lineup was incorrect during the ceremony. Additionally, I specifically requested that my Maid of Honor and Best Man stand with us during the ceremony. Instead, they were instructed by the day of coordinator to sit down. This was never discussed with me, and I certainly never authorized that change. I have seen numerous Chapel of the Flowers ceremonies where attendants stand with the couple, so there was no reason for this request to be ignored. My first interaction with the day of coordinator was also concerning. When she arrived, she did not know who the bride was and initially assumed one of my bridesmaids was me while I was sitting right there. That level of preparation and professionalism was shocking for a wedding venue of this reputation. The photography experience was equally frustrating. Before the ceremony, while I was waiting privately, the photographer insisted on removing my engagement ring for photos even after I expressed hesitation. The ring was never returned to me afterward and was placed in the ring box with the wedding bands. As a result, during the ceremony my husband accidentally placed my engagement ring on my finger instead of my wedding band during our vows. This was a completely avoidable mistake caused by poor communication and handling of my personal property. To make matters worse, we never received our photos. The day after the wedding, we received a message stating that we were supposed to come back to the chapel to review them. That conversation never took place with us, and by that point we had already traveled home. As a result, we left Las Vegas without receiving the photos we paid for. The most frustrating part of this experience is that these were not isolated issues. They were a series of preventable mistakes involving communication, coordination, logistics, photography, transportation, and ceremony execution. After six months of planning and thousands of dollars spent, I expected the details to be handled professionally. Instead, nearly every aspect of the day required correction or was handled incorrectly. The ceremony itself happened at the correct time and date, but beyond that, the experience fell far below expectations. A wedding is one of the most important days of a person's life, and unfortunately Chapel of the Flowers failed to deliver the level of service and attention to detail that was promised.
