My original wedding officiant, whom I prepaid, cancelled the day before my wedding, leaving me less than 24 hours to find an replacement. From the moment I contacted Bonnie, she was professional, attentive, kind and very helpful. Unlike some officiants, Bonnie took the time to get to know my husband and I, really personalizing the ceremony and ensuring that my six children and my mother were included. I honestly expected the traditional, quick and boring vow exchange... "Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife" and "Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband"? However, We were pleasant surprised when we received soooo much more, such as Bonnie telling our personal love story, leading our loved ones in a unity knot ceremony, which her daughter made using our wedding colors as well as the lighting of our unity candle. The wedding venue was the Westin Lake Las Vegas which is beautiful but far away from the strip. Though some officiants charge an extra fee to travel to the Lake Las Vegas area, Bonnie didn't. Nor did she charge any extra fees for booking her a day before the event, running almost 2 hours behind, keeping me calm, or searching for my runway groom when he went MIA right before the ceremony. After the wedding, my husband and I received numerous compliments from our guests in regards to the ceremony. Though the venue was beautiful, especially at sunset... my guests, especially my mom, were blown away by the heartfelt ceremony that Bonnie created in less than 24 hours.

After a brief phone interview, the previous planner had suggested that Semper Fi may better fit our needs. Rightly so! The groom and I met with Arlene a year prior to our November '18 nuptials. She welcomed us with open arms, listened to our vision, and explained what she could and would do for us. Over the next year, Arlene became more than a wedding planner to us, she became our friend and older (and protective) sister. She went to bat for us when needed, steered us away from bad decisions, and directed us in the way of better ones.
