Tried contacting GM/Owner. No return calls. Tried FB. Before could respond to the owner, they banned me from page. Called on 12/19/25 was told Rob would contact me. Never happened. Was asked on FB to post phone number on public page. Yeah, no, just return calls. Single staff member has ruined what was an amazing place for friends and family to enjoy. Owner wants to argue on FB instead of resolve issues. Maybe he's had a bad day or doesn't want to deal with it. Regardless, it's sad as we have spent a lot of money with them and tried to purchase three pistols for Christmas gifts and the staff member tried telling me what I should buy instead of what I wanted. That was the inquiry with GM/Owner. If you go to buy a convertible and told you will buy a hardtop, wouldn't ya want to speak to someone who could help? The arrogance and attitude of a counter staff member has made it now impossible to return to enjoy such a nice place. Plus the owner who wants to argue instead of help. I'm not a vendor or solicitor. Very nice facility. I don't go there given the rules. I'm a disabled guy. With lots of experience. Given my issues, I now load all of my magazines at home, while sitting, placing them into a different bag then the weapons. Their rules require I show unloaded weapons (okay great) but also empty magazines. As an amputee, and nurve issues in my hands so I cant use them to load and shoot in an hour, this is a no go place for me. If your healthy, great place. If not, well... read more

He asked the guy behind me if he was a member - affirmative - put him in front of me and asked me to wait even longer. Unacceptable. Great experience. I had a good time. From the Help Desk to the Range Desk, the attendants were very professional, courteous, and they listened to my needs. Pricing for range time is very reasonable. If you don't have your own firearms or safety equipment, you can rent them. No hassle or egos, they'll let you train. If there's a problem, the Range Officer will kindly address it. To my surprise, there's a trading card shop inside; maybe Pokémon, Baseball, and Football. I highly recommend visiting and take a look around. It's a very clean and spacious facility. I read the reviews and was initially unsure of what to expect but ima go ahead and say you can ignore the bad reviews. I showed up and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The shooting bays were set up with chairs and a bench with enough space to actually put your rifles on. The target is also electronically controlled so you can be sure you're sighting in at the distance you want vs having to eye ball it. Advice for time timers: - Fill out the waiver before you come in ( I did this and it made check in a breeze) - Do not bring in loaded magazines. - They will check your ammo for steel cores using a magnet (don't bring green tip 5.56 rounds) read more

All in all, a really good range. Top notch equipment, clean, comfortable, and I really like the wash sink outside the pistol ranges. The place is huge, wear comfortable shoes because you're gonna do some walking! TIP: Do yourself a favor, don't go in with loaded rifle mags, they are just going to unload them to check for any metal or metal core ammo. Any time you think you saved pre-loading will be wasted while they unload your mags. The guy was kind enough to reload them, but your mileage may vary. My only gripe, and reason for a one star deduction, the front desk staff needs to be more careful when handling other people's weapons. I get that they need to inspect them, and that's fine, but they need to take more care handing them and not banging them on counters, cases, whatever. Accidents can happen, but just be careful please, some of the rifles coming in there were built, not bought. Someone paid a stupid amount of money for the wood and a LOT of time working/finishing that stock you just banged against the case. read more

I myself left my ear protection in the car and ran out to get it. That's when my bag was checked again, at the back counter.But boss if poking holes is your thing cool?! Not going to spend precious time on a topic you really don't want to discuss. The rules were easy to comply with. Again roll your tape very simple rules to follow . My rules is don't touch what's not yours. I told the guy in the back I don't need Ammo. Very clearly I want to add. So he was able to sell my buddy "two boxes" of .556 or .223. Wonderful addition to the area - prices are very competitive with the big box stores. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable of what they can offer. Someone else mentioned the checkin procedure is akin to TSA; well this place is state of the art (in my humble opinion) and I have no qualms of the staff looking to keep their range in proper working order by filtering out the green tip and steel ammo (note: rifle ammo inspection and asking that mags are empty prior to checking in is no biggie). I'm not into collectibles; but they recently opened a side room to include unique LEGO sets, Pokémon and related trading cards. They also have Warhammer type figures that seem really cool (and again, I'm no aficionado of this genre). One could bring the whole family and hang out for a few hours and be totally entertained on multiple disciplines (to include archery). I think eventually they will need a food truck to feed the folks spending the day there. Keep up the good work. Will be back... read more

Getting to the point, this range isn't for advanced or recreational shooters. I had one of the staff step into my lane while I was training a client, asking pointless questions and interrupting the lesson. While I understand the need to explain defensive/safety rules, this particular staff member was passively aggressive and continued to hover near us as if we were not paying customers with our paid time in our lane. I don't particularly see the point in going to a range and paying for an hour if the staff is going to take the majority of the time explaining how to use a lane and then interrupting the shooting time to try to train a customer I was training. I would recommend Webers shooting range in Temple for any purchases, and their range in Troy has always been excellent. read more

This is a state-of the-art shooting range, All the targets are on electronic tracks so you can choose the distance. Everything is air conditioned. They also rent out fully auto guns. You can buy ammo here also. An upstairs, 50 yard archery target and shop completes the place. read more

Beware, Sendero Shooting Sports lies to customers. I contacted Sendero about doing an individual to individual transfer of a rifle sold on a forum. They told me they accepted firearm shipments from individuals and to include a copy of my DL and the information of the person who purchased the gun so they could contact them for the 4473 transfer. I shipped the firearm via USPS because they are the only carrier who will allow non-FFL holders to ship firearms. It was properly packaged and insured per USPS regulations. Cost me $300 to ship it. Well they refused the shipment and it was returned to me. I called them and was told that the person I talked to, Glenn, was mistaken and that it is their policy to only accept firearm shipments from other FFLs and not individuals. I told the guy that I was out $300, and all he could do is tell me that Glenn had done this before and that he would talk to him about it. I started to circle back to what to do about the $300 their employee cost me, and they hung up on me. Bad way to do business and zero willingness to try to help or offer a solution. I now have to spend another $300 to ship it to another FFL nearby that will accept the firearm. I will be sharing this story as well on forums and reddit as well. read more

I went to Sendero Shooting sports for the first time with some friends from work, and after shooting for awhile we decided to rent one of their full auto machine guns. The owner of the store came down to show us how to shoot the UZI and supervise us as we did so. My friend shot the gun without any issues, but when I shot it, the gun malfunctioned and had a case head separation. Meaning the case ripped apart in the chamber and sent shrapnel backwards. The owner then took it from us and brought another gun for us to finish shooting our ammo. Afterwards, we watched him remove the case from the chamber , and saw that the bullet was still in the case. When asking him what brand the bullets were so I knew not to buy them, he said that he reloaded them himself. And as we were walking away he told us that the barrel had a bulge in it, but that its fine. This is UNBELIEVABLY UNSAFE. The case likely blew up because of the bulge in the barrel and the fact that it was probably reloaded too many times. There isn't really any way to track how many times a case has been reloaded since he sweeps them up from the range. If you go to this range, shoot your own guns with your own ammo. DO NOT rent a full auto gun from them, because you could get badly hurt. It also seemed like we were being bribed with hats as we left the range to appease us, but no apology was given for the incident. read more

This indoor range is beautiful and I never had issues on the range or with most of the staff. The only issue I have is a particular individual that works there --thinks i needed his shooting lessons when he's never even seen me shoot. Once a person is on the range and is shooting pretty good and getting comfortable...it's very unprofessional to tell you what pistol you should be using and you need more lessons. If I feel I need more lessons it's up to me!! read more

I have never been to a range where it takes 30 minutes just to get in until now. They emptied all of my loaded magazines. Charged $70.00 for less than an hour. And inspected my stuff like TSA. I don't like the vibes or the price. Maybe they treat the regulars better. First time experience ruined it for me and my partner. Sucks for them and us we go every other weekend and drive right by this establishment, wasting time, gas and energy. read more

Used Sendero a couple of times for FFL pickups and the staffs has been pleasant and quick. I visited the 100 yard range for the first time last week and I can say this is the nicest range I have ever visited. Ventilation is great without feeling like you're in wind tunnel. The electric target system is quick and very precise. Staff was great getting me in and out of the range in a timely fashion. Definitely going to be visiting again. read more

My kids got me an annual membership to Sendero Shooting Sports as a Christmas gift. Since January, I have spent a great deal of time on the range, and my shooting has improved dramatically. It is safe, state-of-the-art range, and with my membership, I find myself going to the range almost once a week. Chad (the owner) is a great guy, and is passionate about shooting. He offers advice and suggestions to shooters, and can talk about firearms in great detail. Additionally, he's a highly competent gunsmith who is ready to help out with any challenges. The staff is all highly professional and courteous, keeping things safe without being overbearing. Unless I need to work on long range shooting, I don't see myself shooting anywhere but Sendero Shooting Sports. read more
