This was a nearly four hour drive and they did not take any preparation in the case that my father needed to use the bathroom. When I met them at the lobby of the Rehabilitation center, my poor father was so upset, humiliated, embarrassed and crying! He had urinated on himself and they didn't even cover him with a towel or a sheet or do anything or say anything. My father was scared and disoriented and all of this could have been avoided. Shame on this company!!! My brother called the company to complain and all they had were excuses and they didn't even apologize. They should not even be in business.

When it was time for me to be discharged to an Acute Rehab facility I arranged to be at one closer to home in Ventura County. Transportation was not included so we found Sunrise Poppy. I was transported via a gurney by van from bed to bed, with minimal discomfort on the injury site. I felt secure on the ride so I was able to be calm and rest during the 3 and 1/2 hour transfer.
