We explored the menu board outside and it looked exciting, but we waited for the right day to be here and hungry to savour their delicious. Finally today was the day and after long shopping day we landed up here . A well decorated Mexican cuisine restaurant with couple of Italian delicacies. Ordered Beef Baja Tacos , Chimichanga and chicken Alfredo pasta . When the food landed on our tables it was so eye appealing that our eyes popped out with a wow expression . Everything tasted so good and couldn't be better . The last time I had such good food was in Windsor with a soul touching food . The Baja Tacos were loaded with all the salad / Mexican meat mix / cheese . Chimichangas were dripping with fresh cream and guacamole. Alfredo chicken flavour was truly Italian . Disgusting! Soggy burrito, can't even be held. Loaded with onions (not listed as an ingredient and I can't stand onions). Overpriced and took forever for a takeout order. A good friend of mine is moving away from Kamloops and before she left she wanted to make sure she did everything "Kamloopsy" that she could think of. Of course that list HAD to include a visit to Senor Froggy, which is quite possibly the most Kamloopsy fast-food place in town! A visit to Froggy's is definitely one of my guilty pleasures. Service here is great for a fast-food place. If you're dining in, they always bring the food for your table rather than expecting you to awkwardly wait around for them to call your number. They're also great with makig suggestions and have no problem accomodating to dietary preferences. My favourite thing about Senior Froggy is how many options I have as a vegetarian. I almost always get the same thing: a super veggie burrito bursting with rice, beans, and cheese. Yum! I also might be addicted to their homemade hot sauce. I always order extra when I'm getting my food to-go. Froggy's is obviously not gourmet, nor is is "authentic" Mexican food, but it's the perfect treat when you're craving something savoury and delicious. read more

Went after visiting family in hospital, on a Wed. afternoon about 3pm. Ordered a vegetarian taco, but was served a beef. Unfortunately it was hiding under a layer of lettuce, so did not realize it immediately. Of course loaded up on the salsa, so it took a couple bites (and remarks about the paucity of ingredients in the burritos from my dining partners) to stop and take a look. After checking with my family to ensure that I was not just imagining it, or that they had not put in some interesting veggie crumbles acting like ground beef (though the menu said a bean taco), I then talked to the counter help. They agreed that a mistake had been made, and they would bring the right taco out shortly. A moment later the young man was back to tell me that because I had started to eat the other one, I could not get a refund or a replacement, but that he could give me a discount on buying a new one. I was disappointed that they served me the wrong item, and as a 40+ year vegetarian, nonplussed by the service of meat, but those things paled in the complete lack of customer service and treatment of me as if I had done something stupid. No apology, no refund, no making it right, just trying to get me to pay them more money. Recommendation: do not accept your food there before checking out that you get what you expect. If not just the right item, at least make sure you get the accompaniments the way described. Pictures/menu shows fresh ingredients like tomatoes and cheese. We all received what looked like cheez whiz on oily ground beef slurry, with nothing else. Tacos and burritos both. read more

Best Mexican food in town!! Always get great fast and friendly service! Food is delicious and completely customizable. I am a picky eater so its great to know I can add or remove most ingredients from most items! My favorite is the crispy chicken food truck tacos!!! So yummy and fresh! They are also right on top of the covid protocols with a hand washing sink for customers to use instead of just hand sanitizer and handy signs on the tables to ensure you always get a freshly cleaned table! I ordered Chimichanga and it came stuffed with beans which I do not care for. I ordered this item because the menu indicates that it does not contain beans. I asked for it to be made without beans as shown in the menu. The server argued that the menu says it includes beans. I showed the server the online menu that does not list beans in that item. She said "the online menu is wrong because it does contain beans". She pulled out the store hard copy menu to prove it to me .. the hard copy menu also did not list beans in the Chimichanga! At this point she said both are wrong and they make them correctly, I didn't appreciate being challenged by the staff. Your staff need to know how to make the products on your menu! I'm a proud foodie and a maniac for Mexican food but I found this place very inauthentic. I ordered a super burrito and all I received was a burrito with a specie of "soup" inside. A mix of bean paste, sour cream and whatever other liquid that was. It was gross. No solid beans and rice. No meat. Whoever made this has not even a basic notion of how to make Mexican burritos. Terrible cook. Felt angry when I left. It was a grumpy server that served us. Unpleasant young woman. I would not recommend. Please hire some Mexicans to cook there or train your Canadian high school students better. Urgh. read more

We have been dining here as a family since I was a child. It was our go to dining for our family. Over the years there have been some bumps along the road. But remained loyal fans of Senor's! Until recently that is.. During these times and the fact IT WAS TACO TUESDAY! We decided to preorder our meal ahead of time to avoid the covid cluster. We were told 45 mins. Perfect we could run our errands beforehand. We arrive 5 min prior to 45 min mark. We get to the till..our food is not ready. No worries..its busy. We waited another 1/2hr still no food. By this time my elderly mother and antsy 2 year nephew are waiting in the car. Go back up to the till. Cashier said to us" your food is not made yet" Confused there was a a customer that walked in ordered her food waited about 10 mins then left?! In fact several people had. I reminded the cashier I called in and placed my order now over an hr ago. She said we were up next? That our food shouldnt be much longer. At this point disappointed in the service. I had asked for my money back. There was no ranting..really there was no point. The staff did not seem to care. I asked for a manager. I was told there was none on shift today!? She had also said I would have to reimbursed with cash. I reminded her that paid with debit and would prefer not to be refunded cash. Considering the times we were in! She said she could not refund withe debit machine she had at the restaurant!? !? I then asked for the owners email address. She said she did not know it..fair enough..i guess. She said she could give me the owners personal ph number?? I said no that's fine I would call the restaurant no need to disturb the owner on his down time! Dear Owner, this is response to you news article about how your staff is being treated in these times. Well sir. If this is just my experience while visiting family in my hometown and trying to take walk down memory lane..your staff has failed miserably in customer service department of your restaurant. Hate to be the one to say it , but awful service. I went in to order food, but simply wanted to hand in a resume before I ordered since the line was bare. To my surprise the woman at the counter didn't even let me speak before disregarding me and my offer to hand in my resume, I understood it was busy but as a paying customer I feel I should of had the right to at least speak but the woman promptly told me to leave before going to the back without another word.
