A local recommended this place. I was hesitant because I have a rule that I don't eat Mexican food outside of California or Mexico. I should have stuck to my rule. The chips, queso and guacamole were good and that's where the good ends. The salsa was mostly tomato sauce. I ordered the combo number 13 with the burrito, enchilada and tamal. The burrito and enchilada was filled with ground beef and everything was covered with a red sauce. It wasn't enchilada sauce, it was almost like a marinara. I took one bite of each and I couldn't eat it. I then asked for a beans, rice and cheese burrito. The server was very confused by my order. He brought me a a flour tortilla, filled with beans and rice. It was topped with queso. It wasn't good. The tortilla wasn't put on the flat top first, so it was mushy. The service was good

Had lunch here with some friends, everyone ordered something different to try it out. Chicken quesadilla was well served with lettuce, tomato and sour cream, the chicken came with spinach and melted cheese. Chile relleno was stuffed with cheese and it looked pretty freshly made. The Pollo Michoacano came with chorizo on top, rice an beans chicken was undercooked in the middle. The food is American style Mexican catered to the American taste. Salsas are mild or non spicy. Fish taco was a little on the salty side but edible. Good place for lunch or just hanging out with friends nothing too exciting. We asked for carne asada tacos but they only serve ground beef ones or shredded pork or chicken, they made an exception for one of us but it had not guacamole or salsa on it so it was a dry taco. Really looking forward to having a good taco place locally, but still on the hunt for it!

This place is always busy during supper hours. So today, I thought I would try it. The man who was the server, was extremely friendly. He was very courteous, and polite. Once he brought our drinks, he very promptly brought chips and salsa to the table. Our food was out very quickly. I would say under 15 minutes. Even though we were one of the only groups there, that is very speedy! I appreciated the promptness, and service that was provided. Once the food arrived, we were left alone to enjoy the food. I didn't mind the hands off approach when I am eating. I would give the service a perfect rating. He knew when to provide service and knew when to just let us be. The food, wow. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The meat was seasoned and cooked so well. It wasn't dry or tasteless like some Mexican restaurants serve their food. You cannot go wrong by ordering the Carne Asada burrito. The cheese sauce on top is a great compliment to the meat. I would make this a weekly place to go. The service, and food will not let you down.

We've always had quick, friendly service. Usually plenty of seating. Lots of good food options.

Nice change of atmosphere. Food pretty good. I admit I'm a Taco Bell lover. But it did have a fresher taste to it.

This is hands down the best sit down Mexican restaurant in Fremont. The food and drinks are wonderful!

You don't want the bread to not be toasted because it becomes soggy and nasty. Exactly what these guys did. They grab bread split it throw nothing on it. Just start putting veggies and meat on it. By the time I got the sandwich, it was completely soggy and falling apart. No cheese on it. For a $15 sandwich. There are restaurants around the area that serve real Mexican food and then their restaurants around the area that serve Homemade Mexican food and that's what this place is I would never pay $15 for that sandwich again.

Welp... we came, we ATE, and we left. Made it out to Fremont after learning of "a" Chuy's last…read morenight! Of course we had to try their cucumber margarita and their jalepeno margarita, and the obligatory chips and salsa add queso. Queso was a little runny, but otherwise it went down the hatches with no issues. T snagged the FajiPina (fajita fixings in half of a pineapple), while I went classic and ordered their chimichanga (beef). Their Mexican rice is fabulous! Super flavorful. Not too acidic with tomato, but it had just the right amount of flavoring that wasn't tomato, that just hit the spot. Their frijoles were excellent too The chimichanga wasn't too tough, shell wise, so that's always a bonus. The beef wasn't anything special as far as flavor bomb is concerned; your typical beef, inside a smothered chimmy. Every now and again, there were hints of the pineapple among the shrimp and steak of the fajitas so that was a pleasant surprise. The margaritas were now not sure if they're top shelf, but you could definitely taste the jalepeno and cucumber. I bet their coconut and blueberry margs are to die for! For a little road trip north, it wasn't too shabby of a Tex Mex meal!
