I googled this place and this is what pulled up. I had a taquito burrito with a guacamole salad It was very good and filling. The restaurant was authentic and was decorated with a Mexican theme. The service is what brings it down to a four star. The waiters were all hanging out at the bar on their phones. We had to go and ask for our ticket and he also forgot our chips and salsa did not check on our cable until after we finished. My husband landed my water so I poured my water into gas. I'm not saying he was all bad cuz he was very nice but they need to be more attentive to their customers. read more

Good food terrible margaritas. Way too much lime in the margaritas and over priced for what you get.

One of the things I really appreciate about eating in a Mexican restaurant is the speed of service. When you think about it, most of the ingredients are pre-prepped and much of what they do is assembly and plating. Many dishes, like my Carnitas Dinner Plate are plated hot with some items (like the carnitas) reheated in a microwave. I'm good with that. What I'm not good with is slow service and a slow kitchen. Now I'm not looking for fast food speed. But 20 minutes to get a server and an additional 30 minutes to get food in a restaurant that was not over 50% of its tables occupied is SLOW. Our food was good, not great, but still nicely plated and tasty. But with this slow of service and food prep, two stars is the best I can do. read more

As you can see, there is a lot of it. The following picture shows that the shrimp is never-ending and full sized. The following picture shows exactly that. Shrimp and avocado with tiny bits of cilantro, onion, and tomato. There was so much I had to take half of it home. The service was top notch. The staff were pleasant and patient. Always smiling and constantly checking on your table to ensure you were happy with the food throughout the meal. The #1 thing for me is they didn't drop off the ticket minutes after the food was served. You actually had to ask for it. The ambiance was just right, it was colorful but not overpowering. I have been to this restaurant before and would frequent this restaurant more often but it's 19 miles away. read more

Me and a few guys were in here yesterday afternoon. Decent Mexican food here with cold beer and anything you'd expect from a joint like this. I should preface this to say that I'm from Texas, so my Mexican food standards are set a little high. We ordered a plate of nacho supreme with ground beef. These were a really good starter. I had the enchilada al carbon which were really good. Three enchiladas stuffed full, covered in cheese sauce. Rice, beans, and a really nice guacamole salad go with it. I wouldn't be scared to order this one again. I can't remember what everyone else had, but their portions were big and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was decent. The setting was pretty authentic feeling with the way they had it laid out and the colors used. Would most definitely go back if I'm in the area. read more

A friend recommended this place while I was in town and I had ordered the Chimichanga. Would say it was overall pretty decent other than the fact they drown it it some kind of queso or sauce that ends up making it pretty soggy. Overall taste was good, but need to remove the sauce and rice was a little mushy. Ambiance and the service were great and a decent option for what's offered in Fremont. read more

This is our second visit to La Hacienda in Fremont Nebraska. They seated us right away and we ordered two combinations and one chicken fajitas dinner. They have a fairly extensive food and drink menus. While we were waiting they brought complimentary corn tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was a little bland but you can spice it up with the hot sauces on the table ( El Yucatán and Tapatio hot sauces). The restaurant has an authentic Mexican feel with Mexican decor including colorful corona banners, modern Mexican music and hispanic servers. There are quite a few patrons at 6:00 pm on a sunday. The service was slow tonight and never checked on us after they brought our plates to us. Overall the food was good. Maybe the only disappointment was my daughters combinations plates of to tacos, rice and refried beans for $16.99. Too pricey for what she got. The visit was still ok but not as good as our last visit. They were off their game tonight. We will come visit again. read more

I got the Burrito Patron, it was great! I personally am not picky, but the patron had peppers, rice, onions, the cheese sauce queso, and i had chicken with mine, i feel like im forgetting some of the stuff on it. . My grandma also gave me some of her dessert she got for her birthday, the dessert was good! The customer service was also good, he remembered that I was the one who order the Patron. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed this place! There was plenty of booths and it was open. They had a huge drink menu with fun unique margarita choices. I got the Molcajete. If you're doing Keto or simply low carb I would suggest giving it a try. My boyfriend got the Verde Enchiladas and Tamale. I'm IN LOVE with their Verde sauce! I was here with a large group of about 20 people. Service was good, the waitress was attentive, bringing complimentary chips & salsa. As well as drinks and refilling chip bowls while we waited for the entire party to arrive. We had a limited menu requested for the party with 3 options. As far as I know, everyone got what they ordered and sides of sour cream, Pico etc..were brought out timely. For a large party, the staff was well organized. The food- This is definitely Tex & Mex. HOWEVER, I've been there a few times now, since they received new management, and they have improved dramatically!!! The food is tasty, their wait staff is on top of drinks & salsa, and the price is pretty good for what you get. Starting this review with a fact: all businesses must adapt during this difficult & unfortunate pandemic. We showed up at 4pm today, 2 of us and waiting for 2 others, an elderly couple. There was one table occupied in this restaurant when we arrived. Our hostess attempted to sit us next to the table already occupied. We asked for another booth away from the table and we were granted it one table away. Not less than 10 minutes later a group of 8 including small screaming children arrived. They were seated directly next to us... we asked if we could change seating to the other side of the restaurant since we were having an elderly couple join us. Our waitress didn't think that was possible but left to go ask the manager to see if it was possible. She returned with the bad news that we could not be seated on the other side of the restaurant even though it was unoccupied.... not less than 5 minutes later another couple arrived and were seated directly in between us & the 1st seated couple. So, that equation means there were 14+ people within the smallest area possible inside a restaurant of approximately 5,000 square feet. We then waited an extremely long time for the waitress to return to pay our bill... so we had to hunt her down to pay our bill! Discrimination is against the law. Social distancing is common sense and in most cities a requirement for restaurants to follow. In addition our waitress had no clue about a margarita and the options offered. It is for all of these reasons why nobody should be forced to attend this venue. read more

I was looking forward to finally having authentic chips & salsa after spending several years in Europe so when the server at La Hacienda put what tasted like pure tomato sauce on our table I was disappointed. My German wife makes better salsa ... I'll have her send you her recipe!!! The server was one of the least friendly servers I've experienced in quite awhile and he forgot to bring tortillas to the table ... fajitas are a bit messy without them!!! The fajitas were very good though!!! For me good service means a lot ... if your food is the best in the world I'd still skip your place if the service was bad ... Best mexican in town. The salsa is good, they are good about getting you new chips and refilling your drinks. I will admit that once I got the chorizo con huevos (I've never seen this combo before!) that I have not gotten anything else (but have eaten there many times with folks who get different things). The chorizo con huevoes mixed with their rice and beans in warm tortillas is AWESOME. The setting actually feels like some of the Mexico restaurants I've been in and the staff is more on the native Hispanic side (it isssss Fremont). I liked it. Maybe you will too. read more

It's been awhile since I've been here, they rearranged the dining area and had a lot of staff I did not recognize. I was hoping the food was still great. Oh yeah it is. Our family has stop here several times; 14 of us. They are very accommodating and the service has been great. The warm chips and salsa just keep coming.
