Food had great taste but both of our burritos were cold. Cheese sauce was runny but also cold. We ate as is - still very flavorful and did not tell the staff. Didn't really want them to microwave it to warm it because it had the most amazing guacamole on it! Cute place and wait staff very friendly and punctual. From start to finish this place is amazing. You're greeted with friendly smiles and a very chill atmosphere. The place is immaculate! Our hostess was probably the best ever, she was so friendly and explained everything from certain items on the menu to what the daily specials were. First and foremost when you come here, because it's not an "if", get a fresh, and I mean FRESH, margarita. Regardless of the flavor, you will not be disappointed. Obviously some queso, quac and salsa are a must (and delicious) to help you decide what you'd like from the phenomenal menu. Or again, ask the team working. Alas I went with a carne asada nacho bowl, my wife ordered birria tacos, along with a "to-go" of the ramen (AMAZING), while my Mom went for the chicken tinga chimichanga. This is my 2nd time visiting this wonderful restaurant and I can assure you it will not be the last. We have been 3 or 4 times and have lived the food every time. The service has been great also. It's worth the 30 minute drive!

We love everything about Los Mezcales and will definitely be returning any time we are in town! We haven't had a dish yet that we wouldn't order again. Love the decor and dinnerware, it truly helps towards an authentic feel. Everyone who works here is attentive, great with explaining menu items and accommodating substitutions for the picky eaters in your group. Nacho Bowl was really delicious! Waiter /Bartender did a good job taking care of our large group. The music was Thundering and great speakers! So cool . Been coming here for a while and love their food. This is the only Mexican restaurant I go to in town. Service has always been good and the ambiance is welcoming and pretty. My only complaint is that their guacamole doesn't actually have pieces of tomato or onion, it seems like they just use a seasoning. Second time to visit here. My wife and I dropped in on Saturday night she had a bowl and I had a quesadilla with carne asada. We both enjoyed our meals. She had a solid margarita. There were several flavors of margarita available but we only tried the lime. read more

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever ate at. Their margaritas are made fresh without mixes and their Micheladas with homemade chamoy and tajin are the best I have ever had. This place is the BOMB! We are from AZ and wanted Mexican food while in town for a funeral and stumbled upon this place. It is off Main Street and we weren't sure how it would be! SO glad we came in! Our margaritas were made by hand from the bartender and were the BEST! I had the passion fruit frozen and it was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! Wow! This place is new and great! It is authentic Mexican and such good food and prices to go with it! We all enjoyed our margaritas and started with the trio appetizer. I've heard a lot about this place from friends and family. In fact, a friend recommended the place for our monthly get-together. Unfortunately, my own experience didn't match theirs. They didn't seem to have any meat alternatives (what happened to beans?) for vegetarians and everything that I asked about was fried. I settled for the shrimp tacos thinking that a fish alternative would do. However, I was surprised to have the corn tortillas brought to me dripping in oil. Needless to say, I left them. The shrimp was good but that (literally) was the only thing inside the taco - no lettuce or other typical taco fillers. The real draw-back to the lunch (around noon) was the customer who walked in with two cats and sat down at the table next to us. He was not asked to leave and was even given water for the animals. I love animals and am all for places that allow them BUT allow them on the patio and NOT IN the restaurant. Isn't this against health codes?! This is not a place to which I would return especially with so many other good places in the same neighborhood with great atmosphere and good food. read more

Went in the other day and I've been wanting this place for about 2 weeks because I've only ever been there once and when we ordered our drinks asked for chips and salsa and guacamole for starters like I always ask whenever I go somewhere like this they said I never asked for it, then when the lady took my order I know I said no onions or cilantro because I always ask for none of that and when they brought my food out it wasn't right so I asked them to fix it and this guy who brought out my food told me I never asked for that and how I would still have to pay for the tacos even tho I know what I said. Don't know what is up with customer service but me personally working in the food service it's always been whatever the customers want and they didn't have that much respect and my husband still got me new tacos because he knows I don't eat onions and then the guy tried to throw the other tacos out after he just told us we had to pay for them when my husband was just gonna take them home and eat them. Serious people need to do better if u want more customers coming in. It's not what the server said it's what the customer said and wanted. read more
