There's a smaller section for small toddlers (smaller slides, a little house attached to it, etc.) and also a larger section for kids 5+ (larger slides, balance ropes, etc.). Both sections have some overhead coverage but the park itself is not shaded. There's also a separate area where the swings are and also a climbing rock/boulder. There's basketball courts adjacent to the kids playground and a good amount of parking. It's definitely one of the cleaner and newer parks around and would definitely recommend checking it out.

The small party had the play room all to ourselves and the kids had a blast running back and forth between all the different spots. Their favorite places were the grocery store area, the huge space bounce pad, and the swing on the tree house. It was nice to have the space to ourselves. It was a small party so the kids had plenty of space to run around. It is a bit tinier than other play places we have been to and I think an hour and a half was plenty of time for the kids to feel like they've explored enough. My daughter loved playing with the extremely friendly teenage staff members on the floor. The staff helped keep things neat and in order as well. After the hour and a half of play time, we went to a back room to have pizza, juice, and cupcakes / cake. The back room was a bit tiny as well, but luckily we did not have a ton of people. The staff were also very helpful with handing out the pizza and cake. Everything ran very smoothly and it seems like they have the whole thing down, as another private party was showing up for their play time and party after ours. They are easily accessible from the parkway in a warehouse type lot area.

It's a pretty big playground compared to others we've been to! The ball pit area and climbing n/slide area is really nice and has lots of areas to crawl around and play, even 3 swings on the bottom area. They made great use of the whole space! They have different areas for kids to play, 2 Lego tables to play, different walls to put Lego and other wood sticks to put into the wall, a "sand" box which has small wood blocks instead of sand, lots of activity toys and overall many rides and toys to try out! They also have a supermarket and kitchen area for creative play. The other part of the play universe is arcade games and mini rides for kids from small to older. I like that they have this combines, if you have kids different ages they all have areas to play. Older kids might enjoy the arcade area more while younger kids play in the play areas. I definitely recommend the indoor playground to come and play! You get a few coins when you check in and can try out a few games. Fantastic concept!

The staff here were really nice, friendly, and professional. The staff that helped host the party…read morewas sweet and tried to mingle with all the kids and parents, which made the entire experience quite pleasant and warm, especially watching her react so sweetly with the kids. There were also multiple staff roaming around to ensure that the environment is clean and organized; for one of the slides the padding was exposed and one of the male staff stood around to ensure he covered that area with balls in the ball pit, demonstrating consideration and really good work ethics that we all appreciated. Out of all the children play place across Staten Island, I believe this play place is by far one of the best, with ample amounts of obstacles and machines for the kiddies to enjoy. My only minor critique is that the token to dollar ratio is a bit high, with 10 bucks equating to 20 token and most rides ranges from 4-6 tokens, which is about 2-3 dollars per ride, which is often a minute or less. One of the rides also had a wheel that was broken, so the ride ended sooner due to be unable to dodge the obstacles. The claw machine also costs about 5 token each, which equates to 2.50 per try. Nonetheless, Just Kidding Universe Playground is definitely a great place for kids to have fun and spread their wings of creativity. This is a fantastic kids place right in the heart of Edison and situated inside the ever-happening Papaianni Park. They are only open for the summer time as rightly so between Memorial Day and Labor Day and has good quality working water pipes and well maintained floor that don't reek of moss for the constant watering. The entire place is well maintained including the toilets. Every kid that was here felt belonged and whoever conceptualized and created this deserves a hike. The parking is huge and will never run out of space.
