She takes time to listen to me and shares real time progress with me. She also gives me great tips on how I can help him at home, every time we come. Originally, my son's pediatrician referred us to CHKD for occupational therapy but they never returned my calls or the pediatrician's calls. I asked for a referral elsewhere and we found this gem. They immediately contacted me and we were able to schedule an assessment within a week. After having fought with CHKD for 3 months it was such a relief to have a person call me and talk to me.

My 3 stars are solely for the amazing OT's at the Virginia Beach location. Unfortunately, this…read morelocation has a lot of issues with high turnover so my son has seen 3 different OT's in the past 9 months. Luckily, they have all been great. That's where the pros end though. The front desk people are all miserable all the time, both at the OT & speech buildings. My son's speech therapist is always irritated with him and needs to retire, I will be changing speech therapists soon. I've been told other speech therapists there are amazing though. So all in all this location is hit or miss and if it weren't for the great OT's, I would find another place altogether.
