He has a great rapport with patients of all degrees of affliction and brings a humorous atmosphere which lightens the mood. I travel one and a half hours (one way) to see them with many other options available in Williamsburg- A few of which I have tried previously. They are worth traveling to!

They offered several types of exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles. I tried each of the exercises under their guidance, and together we talked about which ones I thought I could do at home myself. They printed those exercises for me to take home and do on my own. I have not needed a second session, but I would definitely choose to go back to them in ever in need of therapy. Parking is plentiful, and the location is easily accessible from Williamsburg or off of Rt. 64.

When I walked into Dr. Roth's office for my initial consultation, I was greeted with a warm and sincere welcome. His entire staff was genuinely caring and did not treat me like just another patient. Further, his entire staff looks very professional, as does his office--and that's an understatement. Every room in Dr. Roth's office is calming and is therapeutic in itself. After checking in using an awesome high-tech system, I met with Dr. Roth and he asked me about my injuries and any discomfort. He was very thorough and kind during the initial consultation. To be honest, I was expecting him to rush through the process and get me out of there as soon as possible; however, contrarily, he spent a lot of time with me to ensure every symptom was noted. Immediately after the consult, he set me up for a few treatments. Most other chiropractors (that I've personally visited) will only talk to you on the first day, but Dr. Roth made sure I would feel better after the first session. He was concise and clear about his treatment plans and made me feel at ease about getting chiropractic care. I waited, at most, one minute before a massage therapist walked into the room and worked on my spasms in my upper back. I was surprised as to how patient she was in dealing with my muscle spasms; she made sure to relieve the pain I was experiencing from the spasms. I could tell from previous experiences with massage therapy that she was highly skilled and experienced. What sealed the deal was that she was so kind and sincere. In sum, everyone that works at Williamsburg Neck and Back Center is the kind, sincere, and patient. I never feel rushed. Dr. Roth and his team take their time with my treatments. Lastly, no matter how busy this place gets, someone is always checking in on you and making sure you feel comfortable. I love this place. I will continue praising this office and its staff. I highly recommend Dr. Roth's office if ever you need chiropractic care.

UPDATE: After posting this review, I received a formal termination letter from the clinic dated…read moreMarch 27 (received March 30) stating that the practice would no longer provide chiropractic or massage therapy services "effective immediately." When I returned on March 13 for a scheduled appointment expecting care, I was told in person by the doctor that my treatment would not continue. The doctor, when informing me that care would not continue despite our prior conversation on March 5 about a plan to continue treatment, asked whether I wanted referrals or information on other providers. This was a general question asked at that time and was not accompanied by any specific referral information or advance transition planning prior to the visit. The termination letter was issued weeks after these events and states that the decision followed prior interactions and references efforts to "de-escalate." On March 5, however, I left the appointment after the doctor acknowledged that the situation may not have been handled well and discussed a plan for continuing care. When I returned expecting that care on March 13, I was instead informed that treatment had been discontinued without prior notice. Based on this experience, the practice's handling of this situation raises serious concerns about its integrity, professionalism, and basic respect for patients.

Fast forward to Sept 9, 2025 my benefits have been canceled because of a IME report he sent on April 15, 2025, which he hasn't seen me since or reviewed my MRI that I had done in June. I explained this to the workmen comp agency, they don't want to hear anything that I have to say. I had to obtain a lawyer to get my benefits restored in as of right now, I have no income.

Picked this place due to high rating…read more Gave me last appointment of day for young daughter and you expect to be late going in. Staff should be used to running late too; it's a doctors office. They were not. Got into an exam room 45min after scheduled appointment time. First nurse wanted my pharmacy. I started looking up address and she quickly said just give me the road. Like I was impeding on her time after I was waiting an hour (45min plus being there 15min before appt.). What do you think would happen if I just said Route 17. You know my scripts aren't going to the one Walgreens I want. She's picking one of the other 3 on the road. Shortly thereafter got in for X-rays. That X-ray tech was pleasant and only bright spot of the visit. Finally saw Dr. Aldrich 1:15 after my scheduled appointment. He tried his best not to rush but I can tell he was over seeing patients that day. Was short. Hard to understand. He said to get MRI and if nothing is found otherwise we'll do therapy. Hate sports medicine doctors falling back to therapy if they can't figure out the problem in the first visit. Anyway, he never even asked if I had questions and was out the door while finishing his last sentence. Yes I did have questions. Got none answered. Told to wait in room. Was expecting him to come back so not a huge deal. Instead an older nurse with short gray curly hair came back instead. Barged in saying I need to tell her where to send MRI script. I am new to area and not used to the Drs office sending the script to a place as opposed to the patient getting a script in hand. She just glared and gave me eyes as I scrambled to see if I could find a place associated with my PCP, took my insurance, was close to my home, and not a hospital where sick people are - perhaps an imaging center. She was impatient and didn't explain anything. To the point my young child said something to me after. I just gave a nearby hospital that she said was good and hoped for the best. It's Hampton Roads. It's not like the population doesn't turnover frequently. Then as we left the exam room, she turns to her co-workers and said angrily the guy took 10minutes to figure out where to go for a MRI. B, it was 5 and I didn't even get to pick. It's 5:30 at this point. Been there almost 2 hours. Saw staff for a total of 10 minutes tops and she's complaining I'm taking to long. All because she wanted to go home. Walked to checkout, lights off, staff lined up at door waiting for me to leave. Got no questions answered, no needed doctors note, no documentation of any kind that I was even there. Just got to sit there for 2 hours and be insulted. Cherry on top. After more than a week and not hearing anything we finally reached out to the hospital bc this office doesn't return calls. Find out the hospital doesn't do MRIs for children that young. So this doctor treats children but doesn't know that Sentera won't do MRIs for children of a certain age??? Decided to start over. Spent a month and several calls to get this doctors staff to provide the X-rays before I could go elsewhere so I don't get hit again by insurance. At the end of the day, I'm out copay, 2 hours time plus time on calls with office & hospital, a second trip to Williamsburg (gas and 45 more minutes) to finally get X-ray images and worst of all my child's treatment delayed 2 months. Plus the new doctor could see the issue in the X-ray that this first office did not. (Though used MRI to confirm) What an embarrassment.
