The whole experience felt fun and lighthearted from start to finish! :) Before the shoot, they reached out to talk through the vibe and the types of shots I wanted, which made everything feel easy and collaborative. It really took the pressure off and made planning enjoyable vs. stressing in the moment what I wanted when all of this was talked about beforehand. I just felt eager and this underlying excitement to do a holiday family photoshoot and capture those moments together :] On the day of the shoot, they arrived on time (even a little early!), were super responsive about where to meet, and communicated clearly the entire time. I've worked with Renz before on a couple other photoshoots in my undergrad so when it was time for our wedding, I already knew who to call! I did look around for other photographer options, but in the end Renz's photography was still what I was looking for, for the best price. He did both our engagement wedding photos and our wedding. He was so easy to work with and very easy to communicate with. Very easy to to talk with and professional without being too serious. I let him know which styles of editing I liked based off of some other photo shoots he did in his portfolio, and the photos all came out so beautiful! He also had some poses prepared for when we didn't know what else to do haha. It was nice to have that guidance since me and my husband aren't models, but we got all the shots we wanted. I looked into Seorak Studios for my engagement shoot in Seattle. Renz, the photographer is primarily Orange County based, but we managed to set up a shoot out of state. Given our circumstances (neither of us have been at the shoot location, and the engagement being a complete surprise to my fiancé) we managed to make a complete success. Being the professional Renz is, he was able to walk the premises of the location the day before and managed to make my vision a reality.
