I found a couple of packs of hair that would do the job, but there were no price tags. I asked the woman at the register to check the price and she scanned them both, an 18" and 22" pack. In the same brand in the same line, the 18" inch rang up as $49.99, and the 22" rang up with a very different description and at $99.95. I asked the woman at the register if she could double check the price of the 22" pack, because 4 additional inches doesn't usually double the price and the description was off. She came back and said the manager told her that the prices in the system were wrong, and that the 18" were $79.99 and 22" were $120. I was pretty shocked that my questionable $150 purchase had just been raised to $200 after price checking the original prices in the system. I asked to speak with her, and she came up and was insistent that these new prices were correct, with zero apology for the increase or for their apparent error in loading the prices in their POS system. I told her that if I hadn't asked about the 22" price, I could've just paid the amount on the register and been done, and she said no, the woman at the register would have known something was wrong and gotten the manager anyway. Ummm... that's now what was happening. The woman at the register was very gracious about it all, the manager... notsomuch. Next time I'll have to allow more time to order from somewhere else where the prices for the 18" are $40-$60 and the 22" are $60-$80.

The Lariat is my absolute favorite shop in Denver!  I always have the most wonderful experience…read morewhenever I stop in.  The boutique is beautifully decorated, well lit, and airy -- and the clothes, jewelry, and home goods they carry are absolutely gorgeous and offer a range of prices for any budget.  I love the range of prices since I'm comfortable spending more on an amazing pair of jeans but prefer to pair them with a less expensive (but beautiful) top.  Dana, the owner, has amazing taste!  I feel so stylish in my Lariat outfits and yet sooo comfortable -- which is key since I'm working from home for the foreseeable future.   The sales associate, Claire, is gracious, friendly, and extremely helpful.  She's so great at helping me talk through outfit ideas and at suggesting chic styling tips.  I always walk out of the store with a few new outfits and feeling like I just shopped with a friend. I highly recommend the Lariat to everyone -- stop in and treat yourself or pick up something as a gift!  You won't be disappointed.  :)

One of four stores in the Denver metro, this shop is filled with the cutest wardrobe essentials for any look. Oversize sweaters, fitted tops, cropped tops, fall hats, the cutest jewelry, shoes, bags and MORE are offered here. In fact, I was surprised how much they fit inside the small(ish) space! Staff is stylishly dressed, super friendly, welcoming and down to help. Although I was just browsing, I easily found items I liked, was assisted with any needs and given countless compliments when spotted near the dressing room in my potential new items. Seriously so sweet! New items are delivered each Monday and Thursday, so inventory goes fast! Definitely can't afford to wait on purchasing something later, as it might not be there when you return! Although pricing is a bit higher here than other spots in the area, the quality is outstanding! I ended up with a cute winter sweater ($68) and chic stackable silver ring set ($12), bringing my total with tax into the $80's but well worth it. The sweater is durable and bound to be a hit this winter, and I have worn the rings everyday with no tinting/fading or turning my finger green! Ha! All purchased items are put into a reusable tote bag for future use and environmentally friendly! Esther was wonderful and very educated on this. She taught us the history, how to apply scents, and scents that work with our body chemistry. The experience took a little less than 2 hours, and I created an amazing scent for myself that I love wearing all the time. This is an amazing experience to complete or give as a gift. The store and staff is a wonderful, so even if you don't want to create a scent, come visit for the products they sell (and their knowledge).
