My facial and abstraction with Aliza today was nothing short of amazing!Although I was in a stressful place because of my (face)breakout, Aliza comforted me. With her skin care knowledge and expertise I left the office feeling more confident and with a better understanding of why my skin was being so fussy! I could really go on and on! But I'll save it for my next appointment which I happily scheduled for two weeks! Also super thanks to Dr. Trupin who popped in to assess and gave her medical advice! No pressure just much needed support! I'm grateful to add them to my skin care team, because honey I needed it!!

I want to highlight a very sensitive experience I had with this company. My experience dates back…read moreto Feb of 22; now I know you're like why are you just now writing a review and honestly, it's because I want to stand up for myself and not be afraid of hurting people's feelings who clearly had no regard for mines. Ive struggled with cystic acne and hyperpigmentation since I was in my early 20's. So, around March of 21 I had a consultation with this company and was recommended to do microneedling with PRP. I paid for my package in full (which was very expensive). It included 3 treatments and y'all I was absolutely amazed by the results my skin was much smoother, and the hyperpigmentation was reduced significantly along with the texture I was so happy. So, then I was told to do another package I had no problem because I seen great results. However, at this time this company had just introduced a treatment called "picosure" they hyped this treatment up and ensured me that this was a safe treatment for African American skin I had no reason to believe that they didn't have the knowledge necessary to perform this treatment on me so I paid and scheduled my first treatment which was for Feb 23, 2022. On this day the treatment was started and right off the bat the heat was unbearable, but they told me this was to be expected you guys my face began to weep so much so the esthetician stopped the treatment went and consulted someone else came back and continued the treatment. Now she knew something was wrong, yet she continued now I'm asking her is everything ok am I supposed to be weeping and hurting this bad she said "yes" this is normal. Post treatment OMG it burned so bad they put ice packs on my face and sent me on my way; my face was on fire for 8hrs straight worst pain I've ever experienced. The next day I noticed I had a lot of crusting on my face where I was weeping, and on the third day I was three shades darker. One week later I noticed my face was looking very different my color was off and I had what looked like facial drooping around my smile lines, but I thought ok it's going to get better, but it didn't. My face reverted back to the very hyperpigmentation and scarring I was initially trying to correct only difference my skin was much darker. This sent me into a complete depression because I didn't recognize me at all. I called and spoke to the manager (not sure of her name), but when I explained to her what was going on she was completely dismissive I was crying and pleading with her to help me. She gave me no direction I asked her what can we do she said she didn't know I asked what I can do to help lighten my skin she said go to Walgreens and try and find some cream. There was no help at all I asked for my money back because mind you I paid in full for three treatments and her response was " we don't do refunds and our policy is that you can't move credits to a different service" so I asked "so you expect me to have two more treatments of "picosure" knowingly knowing I can't do this treatment??" she then said as a onetime "curtesy" she will move the credits to microneedling. I wanted my money back because I didn't trust this company, yet I was forced to allow them to touch my face again because I had paid close to $2000 for that treatment, but I wanted my money back and to be done with them. So, after 6weeks my skin was ruined this put me in therapy I couldn't look at myself in the mirror I looked and seen an ugly women Ive never thought this about myself, yet I didn't see me. After the microneedling with PRP I was hoping it would help but it didn't I was devastated. So, I went to Christie Clinic to see a dermatologist because mind you they left me out in the wilderness not knowing what to do, and she immediately told me to stop any and all treatments for a year because my skin was severely damaged. She put me on "hydroquinone cream" to try and lighten my skin so I did just that and I just didn't do anything to my skin but keep spf 50 on and the cream prescribed. The cream did help a little, but I had deep tissue damage, so I was put on a retinol cream at night for the texture that was now back. I was just so discouraged so I didn't do any treatments up until this year. I'm at a new clinic where we are again doing microneedling with PRF Ive had 2 treatments now and things are looking good, but the Dr informed me that what you all did was unacceptable and that you all should have never left me to fend for myself when you damaged my face severely. I was told the reason that I see such a drastic difference in my face specifically my smile lines is due to the high heat from the "picosure" that melted the fat in that area causing dropping. To sum this up you all have caused me significant mental health issues surrounding my appearance to this day you have caused me to spend thousands of dollars trying to correct what you should have corrected what you all did was wrong and I want you all to know

He said he wouldn't do that procedure without also doing a breast lift. He claimed it would be painless and I could go out to dinner the same night. He also claimed that the implants could stay in for over 20yrs. He insisted on silicone and said it was perfectly safe. All were red flags. I thought he'd give me an idea of implant size but I was left alone in a room with implant inserts to try on. I wanted input because I didn't know how big would be too big with the lift. All he had said is you'll regret not going big and then left. It seems like a bigger implant could cause stress on the lift stitches. Then the sales lady came in with paperwork insisting that I sign the contract. That's when I gave up and left. I'm so glad I did, this is not the doctor I want when making a big decision. I never saw him again or heard from his office.

I wish I could leave zero stars. The absolute worst, and one of the most traumatizing experiences…read moreI've ever gone through in my life. I went in for a breast augmentation consultation, and from the jump Dr. Kurley gave off bad vibes; stereotypically arrogant, rude, cocky air about him. Condescending, and wouldn't let me ask questions. He also freaked out in the middle of the consult and asked me if I had a hidden recording device...all of this and I still ended up letting him do surgery on me. Right before going in for surgery, I explained to him that I was concerned the implants were not the right volume for me; he disregarded my concern and more or less said he knows better than me, and I woke up depressed and extremely disappointed. I started crying to the nurse, who then brought Dr. Kurley back in, who sat in front of me and belittled me and told me I was wrong for feeling upset, and then started rattling off his credentials, almost bragging to me about what an amazing Dr he is. All the while I am still waking up from the anesthesia, horrified, and asked the nurse (whom I later discovered is Dr Kurley's WIFE), to have him leave the room. He also made several comments about how it is women's fault for not being better patients and coming back to his practice to "fix issues." This was hands down the worst outcome/experience possible for me. I wanted to have this done right the first time, now I'm going to have to pay more money to have a better Dr do it again, not to mention have to go under anesthesia and through surgery AGAIN. P.S. I was texting my boyfriend the whole time describing each creepy room I entered so they would know where to find me if something happened...the office was by far the weirdest, creepiest office and so unprofessional. It looked like a room you'd take the SATs in in the '90s.

It's been a few years since my cosmetic surgery, so I finally feel I can talk abotu it…read more I originally went to another cosmetic surgery place in champaign, but checked out Dr. Castillo's office as well. If I remember correctly, Dr. Castillo was a little bit less expensive, so I went with him. I should have known better, because when I was looking through some beofre and after photos, he came into the room and was quite blunt that I didn't need to be looking some of the pictures ( of procedures I was not having). His bedside manner turned me off... should have been a clue. I had really droopy eyelids, so when he came in to the pre-op room and draw on my eyelids ( I guess to see where he had to operate), he had me clse my eyes, but I took it upon myself to raise my lids, thinking THAT would insure he took enough eyelid skin off. When I woke up from the surgery, I hurt! Drains behind my ears, etc. But the worst thing is that my eyelid on my right eye sticks to my eye. I sometimes have to take my finger and raise my eyelid just to get it detached from my eye. And that eye burns a lot! My eyes are no longer symmetrical. ONe is rounder than the other. You would think a surgeon would have noticed that I did not have my eyes closed correctly when he was marking them up. Yes, it is my fault for doing that, but there's a little bit of responsibility on the surgeon's part, too, wouldn't you think? I also have a very visible scar across my hairline. They had told me about it, but I didnt think it would be a big deal. Well, THAT is until your hair turns white and thins out..... NOW it is extremely visible. I certainly wish I would have stayed with my first surgeon. At least he seemed to be a lot more caring, and I am almost sure I would have had better results. This guy is not worthy of even ONE star!
