I understand this, but it's the duty of the salons owner to make sure they have the correct training and verify their techniques before they allow them to do hair. Within the first 5 minutes, I felt like running for the hills. My inexperienced stylist asked so many questions just to prepare the mix for my color/highlights, it made me very nervous. Then the response that she got from Nicole when asking questions was so condescending and snippy, it made me uncomfortable. She could've cared less what this girl was putting on my head. I refuse to blame Madison, because she had no business working with customers without supervision. Plus, my groupon for full highlights did not include a base color. Huh?! I have never got highlights that didn't include the base color. Why would you throw highlights on dull, old color??? Then came the illusive "toner" other reviews have pointed out, for an extra $25 which is supposed to accent your highlights and make your hair shiny. She poured it on my head, then left me with my head hanging in the sink for 1/2 an hour while she signed up 2 women for new tanning packages. The end result...my new color is still dull, my highlights are almost non existent and my hair feels like straw. Add the extra $45 I had to pay on top of the Groupons for a full highlight and cut/style ...Even my husband, who normally compliments me when I get my hair done, said my hair looks awful. I'm still crying...I will call and speak to the owner today, but I felt the need to warn others.

The staff seem knowledgeable and Thierry is very friendly and positive both times I've come in. Prices are a bit higher than a regular salon for basic waxing but I suppose that's because they are dedicating to only waxing here. I've never felt pressured to buy products and they make it easy to reschedule appointments. I highly recommend.

They also carry Trish McEvoy, Laura Mercier, NARS, and Lune+Aster (Blue Mercury's line). All high-end quality lines. They also happen to have my favorite lip balm (Rosebud salve) which I'm hard pressed to find in any store. Service: I was quickly helped by a sales associate when I entered the store. She helped me decide which shade of corrector and concealer I needed and gave additional recommendations on other products I was interested in. Also, since I am South Asian, I like that the woman who helped me was black. I had gone straight to the salon after work and now a pretty expensive work shirt is ruined. The owner refunded my haircut and gave me tips to get the dye out of the shirt but didn't offer anything else to comp the ruined shirt.
