She wasn't a super pushy sales girl and was genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed and wanted.

Giving 10 stars but only 5 show. 100% recommended AND to keep going back. This place is a gem…read moretucked away in the mist of Greenhill's major shopping strip and mall. ALL staff members are incredibly knowledgeable meaning they hire educated, trusted, and experienced employees. The staff is welcoming and kind creating a great atmosphere. Whether it is your first time getting makeup/face treatment done or not, you will not feel like a stranger. Staff genuinely wants you to enjoy your experience. They want to inform and make you feel great. They truly want the best for you and will recommend or give you samples of products they think is best for you (they do not push to sell things.) I recommend Gina W as a facial specialist!

In the [redacted] years I've lived in Nashville, I've never noticed Private Edition. I mean, I…read more*guess*, I sorta did as I flew* up and down Hillsboro. I recall spying out of the corner of my eye a shopping center that wasn't a mall. But, being that I shy away from shopping as a rule, it was unlikely that I would stop at a place not connected to other places so as to make any shopping I *had* to do efficient and time effective. So, no stops at the place I sorta paid attention to for [redacted] years. Is that clear? But then a time came when my reluctance to shop was paired with my refusal to be around people and my need to buy presents. You keeping up with all this? I know it's a lot. So, factors in place, I needed options. It was then that I sorta remembered this place in Green Hills that *might* have some things I could use/buy/ship and I got to searching the interwebs to make sure of it. I was in the market for fancy lotion. I knew I was in the right place because the 'lotion' was called 'moisturizer.' I really got the hint when I saw the price point. This isn't Jergens, folks. Thankfully, in addition to a picture and price point, the inventory came with copy. I could read flowery language that made me feel good about the purchase I was to make. I mean that sincerely. If you're going to drop coin on a luxury, you should know what you're getting. I felt as though I was reasonably informed enough to know what I was getting. I picked the product, ordered, paid, had it shipped, and tracked the shipping like a hawk. I was determined not to let this magic cream fall victim to a porch pirate. It arrived. It was opened. It was oohed and ahhed. It was worth the money. *I would never do that...

I then called back and had to once again listen to a lot of information up front from a very slow voice that made it seem like it was longer than it actually was. When someone came to the phone I asked for the manager and the girl said, "That's me." I told her about calling and being on hold 25 minutes and asked her if she thought that was acceptable, and she said yes. I said are you? So you think it is acceptable to leave a customer on hold for 25 minutes without ever coming back to the phone, and she again said yes, we're short staffed. I then explained the reason for my call was because I had purchased several wildflower scents but have to keep buying the plugins because they burn out so quickly. She indicated she knew that they do. I told her I know someone out of town who had the same problem and that location let her trade them for new ones, and I was calling to see if this location would do that as well. She responded no, it's against our new policy. I asked about the policy, and she said that they've had so many problems with these that they no longer exchange them unless they haven't been used, have a tag still on them, and within 90 days of the receipt. Through my questions she confirmed this is a problem that the company has dealt with for a long time, so they can no longer afford to swap them out when new ones go bad. I told her I've already bought so many and have these scents I can't use, and asked her what was I supposed to do. She told me to not let a scent run out before switching to another scent. Then she told me that when I switched scents I should keep the unit unplugged for 3-4 days to let it reset. I questioned that. She said they aren't supposed to be plugged in all the time. I told her that is what they are made to do. Also there is no documentation anywhere to tell me this so how was I supposed to know. She said when I bought them the salesperson should have told me. I said with everyone I've bought, nobody has ever mentioned anything like this, and it doesn't make sense. She then said, well at least keep them unplugged for 24 hours. At that point, I asked, are you making this up. She of course said no. I said, well it seems like you are just pulling stuff off the top of your head, and you are giving me conflicting information. I said to summarize this, your company knows that they are and have been making and selling a inferior product, one that isn't cheap at all, and one that although more than twice as expensive as Walmart, lasts only through a few scents, and sometimes not even through 1. And you tell me that it is because I need to do these things (above) in order for it to not go bad. She said yes. I said, well I'm sure you don't care, but I'm not sure I want to shop with your company any longer. Have a nice day. I hung up and am still shaking my head at this entire conversation. I thought Bath and Body Works was better than this.

Here's the rundown: Service: 15/10…read moreProduct Quality: 10/10 Product Selection: 10/10 Scents: 9/10 Located in the Arcade in downtown, Nashville, the Bubblery makes high-quality, all-natural soaps, bath bombs, lotions, linen sprays, roll-on scents, and lip balm. Basically, if you put it on your body, they can make it. They have a wide selection of bath bombs and soaps to choose from, and a slightly lesser selection of the other items. However, all products are made literally in the next room, and I have heard the staff mention that they will even custom-make products for you. Speaking of the staff, they are some of the best. The owner is the sweetest, most gregarious, happiest woman I've ever met. I've only ever seen one other employee in there, Luke, I believe, and he is just as kind. Both of them give excellent product recommendations and are so super helpful. New to bath bombs? They'll happily show you around the shop and ask you any questions you have. The quality of their products are outstanding as well. I have pretty sensitive skin and have to be careful with bubble baths and other products that dry out my skin. However, their bath bombs are ah-mazing. I tried the matcha, which I think she said had goats milk in it (maybe??), and it was like bathing in the softest water you've ever touched. They are seriously amazing stuff. I also picked up a lotion, and it is lovely and smooth. I've purchased a soap, but haven't tried it yet. They really do have a scent for everyone (or they can create one), but it can be hard to get a good feel for them due to the sometimes overwhelming lingering scents in the shop. This generally is the strongest when they are making products in the next room, and it is really a limitation of the space; I don't think they have any exhaust fans or anything to help circulate in some fresh air. However, I imagine they would be okay with opening the door if it is getting overwhelming to someone. I find this happens in most scented skincare shops, so I don't hold it against the Bubblery, but more sensitive noses might have a hard time in here.
