Not one offered any help. One girl wouldn't even move over so I could look at the display of 'Two Faced' items she was stocking. I was trying to check out the chocolate bar palette I was looking to purchase. I finally just decided to get the powder foundation I'd been looking at online and a nice shiny lip gloss. It totalled to a little over $50. Online I'd have gotten a free gift, nothing here. I should have gotten at least 2/3 small samples... nothing. I didn't even get a smile. Very Disappointed.

She took the longest time practically doing a makeover on my 2 nieces (who again do not even need it) and did an inch square section on my face while giving me a run-down on all the things I should & shouldn't be doing. I didn't even want to tell her that I'm also a licensed esthetician! You know what, though? I was going to buy more products but she annoyed me so much and I was already trapped in there for about an hour ... I ended up leaving with one thing in my hand when I could've left with a few ... spending about $30 when it could've been $100. The cashier was having trouble figuring how to do the return with the gift receipt, so the manager came over, explained how to do it, and the cashier took it from there. She asked if I used it and I said no, my friend got it for me, and I knew I wouldn't like the lip gloss flavor. She continued through the transaction and gave me a receipt to sign, and the original copy. As I walked away from the desk I noticed there wasn't any kind of store credit or gift card, so I asked the manager. She apologized and said the cashier had refunded the money back to my friend's card, but said she would be able to void it, and that she would make sure that I got my gift. After checking at the register she said she wouldn't be able to void it because of the card type. I assumed because she was the manager she would make an effort to fix it, but she said something along the lines of unfortunately there's nothing more she could do, and that I would not be able to pick out anything as a replacement for my gift. I felt so silly, like a child, but I was really honestly very sad about the whole experience. I had to leave without a gift. I told the manger that I guess if I was ever in a similar situation in the future, I should probably just ask for the manager to make sure it was done correctly, and she said "it was an honest mistake". I told the cashier when I arrived that it was a gift I received from a friend, and that I had a gift receipt. You would think that would be enough to understand that I should receive a gift card or store credit to use to replace my gift. The most upsetting part is not even that the cashier made this thoughtless mistake in the first place, but that the manager did nothing about it and just said sorry I couldn't get my gift. This whole situation totally sucked, and I'm really disappointed, as this shouldn't be so complicated and upsetting.

The sweet girl at the counter greeted me and explained that there are five major scents, each one based on one of the towns in the Vineyard. It was such a cute concept! I wandered around and checked out each of the fragrances. There are only a handful of products for each fragrance, plus some men's products (aftershave and a moisturizer). They also have some gorgeous pre-made gift baskets that would make a great hostess or bridal shower gift. I settled on the Tisbury fragrance, which was subtle and sweet and reminded me of the smell of fresh cut grass and the mornings spent walking to Morning Glory Farm. The Edgartown scent was a close second, with grapefruit undertones. I selected a combination package of shower gel and body lotion, which was priced at $40. They also offered body butters, a body scrub, and scented candles. The company has a website, but it won't be offering the products for purchase online until later this summer. Every single person working the window is quick, competent, professional, friendly, and efficient. If there is ever a line, which is rare, it never seems to be due to the employees, but the customers, and as soon as that person is finished, the line clears right up again. Any time I've had some issue that prevented an under-two-minutes pickup of my prescription, it was due to something other than the people at this location, like the insurance company. In several years of using this pharmacy, I have never had a problem caused by them. That is a huge contrast to when I used both another pharmacy company in the area which would tell me my Rx was ready when it wasn't, and another Walgreens at a different location where it took almost an hour for them to figure out how to put my insurance info in their system. These people at this location clearly take pride in their jobs, and it shows. I recommend them to anyone I hear complain about a pharmacy. Oh and I did go inside once for a covid vaccination, and they did that well, too. But I almost never go inside, so I can't really speak as confidently about that part.
