All those years living in New York City & I had never been here. To my surprise what a beautiful & mostly clean station ! I am always surprised to see a clean metro station in New York City lol..! The colors , design is very nice. Directions are very clear . Stuff were also very kind & helpful! I had to walk a lot to get to this station & after all day working while standing my feet was in pain . The stuff I asked the direction realized that & actually came with me half way so I don't get lost ! I highly appreciate that , didn't had the energy to walk more . Now I know if the 7 train doesn't work which way to go lol. And you all know me, even while I was literally having pain on my feet I still had to took some pictures!

A lot of cool murals are around here. The Biggie mural is a few blocks from it. Even though it looks pretty old, it's still fine. It serves the G Train. This is usually quiet even during rush hour, because most people have no reason to get off here, unless they knew they could see Chris Wallace. At the corner of Nostrand and Quincy is a mural of the Notorious B.I.G. This is something attention seekers need to put on Facebook and Instagram. If you're hungry you can find a few hipster eateries. It's getting to be like Williamsburg, with hipsters and very high prices. This still has some of the ghetto charm though.

If you're getting on in age and/or have mobility limitations, the 86th Street 2nd Avenue stop is a game changer. We recently moved to the neighborhood. The first time I got off at the station I couldn't believe our good luck. Train tracks are way below street level -- I've never seen such a subterranean line -- but a series of steep escalators take you all the way to the top. (I think of the Queens Plaza station where I'm inevitably huffing and puffing with all the steps.) The station is clean. The graphics on the wall are beautiful. (Sorry, no photos. Look at someone else's review.) As it's the second stop going south, you'll likely get a seat. And the officers I've spoken to who monitor the turnstiles are actually friendly! BTW, if you're senior, remember to apply for half-priced fare. (There are some advantages of old age!)

This was one of the cleaner and better maintained subway stations. This station also services the G line which ends here. You can take that up to Hunter's Point in Queens.

If you're going to coney island you can take this stop as well take the F-Train . the opposite direction you can catch the F- Train into Manhattan or Jamaica ,Queens . same for the G- Train you can catch the G-Train in to queens - Long island city section of queens and several stops in Brooklyn as well . I usually come here when I have to ahead in to queens without going to Manhattan or if i'm headed to Williamsburg I'll catch the G- Train as well !!!!

Only took about 2 minutes for one to arrive so I lucked out and got a good seat too. Decent enough station serving the MTA B and Q lines. Good signage and accurate train countdown clocks. Manned booth on site. As it's an elevated platform having a working escalator was a plus.

The station is only a few blocks away from the beach, and the amusement park is the next stop. Elevated station giving you a good view of the ethnic neighborhood around the station. It serves the B and Q Trains. This is the end of the B, so to get to Coney Island you have to make a transfer. It's pretty annoying. The station is above ground so it can get cold with the wind. Coolest thing about this station is the view, where you can see all kinds of ethnic Russian businesses. There's a few good authentic restaurants a quick walk from here. It has stairs and an elevator. Just make sure if you're going to Coney Island from Brooklyn or Queens that you're already on the Q when getting here. That way you won't have to make a transfer.

My only suggestion would be for the business to be clear about pick-up instructions. We weren't familiar with the airport (or it rules/procedures) and were expecting someone to be waiting with a sign and our name (as that's been our experience in other cities). We had a difficult time finding our driver as we were unaware of where to go once out of baggage. That's fine, I just wish it was communicated ahead of time because it caused some stress. The vehicle was very clean, our driver was very friendly and the vehicle provided the level of accessibility and comfort we were seeking. Our driver knew a lot about the area and was very kind and patient. We felt safe, comfortable and appreciated the attention to wearing a mask properly and taking COVID protocol seriously. The rate was very fair for a luxury vehicle and we thank them for the useful transportation during the pandemic.
