STAY AWAY I was a member at this gym for nearly 4 years but canceled my membership and upon doing so the gentleman at the front desk warned me that it probably would be a nightmare and six months later I'm still getting billed still having to deal with it and would tell you that there is no way this gym is worth the trouble. Poor experience and horrible cancellation policy. Signed up for a membership while I was home from college and deliberately chose the month to month because the manager told me it could be canceled anytime. Time comes when I want to cancel, I submit the online form and hear nothing back. Called and was told to come in person. Manager tells me in person that it takes 30 days to cancel the membership so I have to pay basically two more months of fees before I can cancel. One of my friends also tried to cancel and they wouldn't let him, claiming he had a yearly plan when he did not. On top of that, the gym isn't nice for the price. At $65/mo I would expect it to be pristine. Half the handles on the equipment are falling off and leave residue on your hands. Bathrooms are out of order half the time and strangely dark. Very obvious that they have done a deep clean in a while. Hair, dust, etc. is built up all around the machines and corners on the floor. read more

Tried contacting the manager about a silver sneakers membership. Never got back to me. Talked to someone over the phone who said they put our names in the computer and we should be good to go. When we went in to go work out the first time, our names weren't in there and the guy at the desk said the manager (Traci) was busy (again) and couldn't come talk to us. And he wouldn't let us work out until she talked to us so we had to leave. Would not recommend that kind of treatment of customers. Discovered this gym while on vacation, it's great. Lots of space and equipment options, friendly staff, separate rooms for spin bikes and yoga. Lots of windows and natural light, one side overlooks a little manmade lake surrounded by greenery. No excuses not to get it done! This is a nice big gym and during the pandemic, they have taken precautions to make sure the place is kept clean and social distancing is maintained. I've the annual membership for $399 and that doesn't include their fitness classes although it should! But I usually go there for cardio anyway so it doesn't matter. The equipment and the facility are both clean. Their hours could be better on the weekends. They close by 6pm and it should a little longer. During the week days, their hours are longer. For the folks that live in the PCB area, this gym is the most convenient. The only other con I found is that this place has no ellipticals and I love using an elliptical. They have plenty of cross trainer machines but they should have more variety of equipment. Other than that, I still recommend this place. read more

We can't help it, but even on vacation, we had to hit the gym. We were really excited to find this place, because it was a really nice facility. It had everything we needed and some machines we don't have back home. In fact, if we lived here, we would be getting a membership. Cost per day is $15 a person if you don't live in Florida. This gym is located in Panama City, so it was a bit of drive from Rosemary Beach where we were staying, but so worth it. Staff was friendly, and the members there were courteous too. The gym was spacious, and had lots of things for us to do. Free weights, curl bars, benches, machines, studio rooms, cardio equipment, large mats, even a big tire. I was really impressed with the equipment. If you live in Florida, you can get a free day pass. I know this will be our go-to anytime we come back to Rosemary. Very pricy membership. Not a great layout and lacking mirrors for members to ensure proper form. Only one small area with mirrors. Only 2 stair climbers and one is always broke. Tons of treadmills & ellipticals so can't understand why only 2 stair climbers?? Classes are to full for the size of the room and people out in middle of gym trying to participate in the class. The gym has a good variety of older but still good quality equipment. The facilities are spacious and most of the employees and members are friendly. The monthly membership is somewhat expensive but I guess that's to be expected when you live in a tourist area. My complaint is the cleanliness and upkeep of the equipment and the facility. The men's dressing room is carpeted and it always has a musty smell. Who knows how many germs are in it. One of the water fountains has been broken for over a year and one of the 3 leg extension machines has also been broken for several months. The arm pad on the biceps curl machine is totally torn up and has been for at least 6 months. At one point somebody wrapped it with duct tape but now thats worn through and it's uncomfortable on your arms and now you get sticky tape residue on your arms if you use it. If you bring a towel from home and put it under your arms it would be OK but you shouldn't have to do that. For the amount they charge you each month plus the annual facilities fee they need to take better care of their equipment and keep the place cleaner. If they did I would give them 4 instead of a generous 3 stars. read more

As a visiting GUEST from out of state, went twice and got stuck with 5 plus months of monthly bills, cancellation fees, non professional approach with personnel at the gym, not to mention the nightmare of dealing with home office in Columbus GA. BUT I've been trying to cancel my membership with these guys since August, and have been denied multiple times from the home corporate office!! It's insane to me I now have a $457 collections notice against me!! Like WTF is going on with this company? How is this even a thing? I would never recommend this gym to anyone because they are an absolute joke when trying to cancel! They refuse to let me then turn me into collections! I will say this gym has excellent instructors for indoor cycling classes and other fitness classes but management is awful and can't keep facilities clean or equipment maintained. Trainers are great and members seem to enjoy their knowledge and experience in assisting members fitness goals. Recently the management removed their better fitness equipment and replaced it with old outdated equipment without any notice to current members. I'm unfortunately locked into a year membership and won't renew and wouldn't recommend anyone to become a member at Sequence. read more

Became a member of this gym after four months it's closed due to Covid they said they stop billing when in fact some of us were still billed monthly so I canceled that card. And intern they sent me to collections to collection company out of state no less. I tried to reason with them I try to make good and pay some dues not all because I felt that I shouldn't be charged during Covid as they stated they would not charge you during Covid. There was no reasoning with them they were abusive abrupt and harassing me every single day there's stuff called me constantly. Then the collection company started calling me. Not only did that collection company called me but they also called my neighbors senior citizens 85 years old respectively. They asked them to come to my door and leave a note to have me called them. All of this was completely illegal they had broken the law repeatedly. I had no choice but to take legal action against them. I prevailed very quickly. Unfortunately this is the same case with a lot of gyms you just don't expect it in a small community in your backyard. I did enjoy the gym I enjoyed their previous GM Matt who is no longer there and I can see why he is no longer there. He was great but they were not exactly great to him. I used this gym during our vacation in PCB. It's significantly larger than what I thought looking from the outside. It has plenty of cardio and weight lifting equipment. The facility and bathrooms were clean. I did go during "covid" so they had plenty of spray bottles and paper towels to wipe down equipment. I would definitely come back during my PCB trips. read more

AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS!! Without a doubt, this is the shadiest gym in America!! I've traveled a lot for work. I've joined a lot of different gyms. Standard practice is, if you relocate to another city/state, you provide evidence in the form of a letter with the new address, and easy as that, your contract is cancelled. NOT HERE!! After being a member for about five months, I needed to move for work. I submitted the proper paperwork AND WAS DENIED!! I called to speak with the lady in charge of cancellations (Ms. Moore), only to find her incredibly unhelpful and rude. And guess what... SHE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HANDLES CANCELLATIONS FOR THIS COMPANY. So, if she says no, there's no one else to talk to. She has no superior. She is God. This is a terrible business model and a terrible business. If you do join this gym, you'd better be 100% sure YOU WILL NEVER, EVER WANT TO CANCEL, because dealing with Ms. Moore is a time-wasting nightmare all unto itself. read more

I'm here for the week for the holidays and after just 3 visits to Sequence, I felt compelled to write a review. First off, I went in prepared to pay $65 for a full month short-term membership since that's all I could find on their web site - then the front desk girl found out I was only here for 8 days so she told me I could buy a week pass for $40 and she would extend it by a day. Saved me $25 and it was cool she was honest about my short term options; she could have easily just signed me up for the more expensive option. I've taken 3 of their AMPD classes and not only is the workout top notch, the vibe is great. It seems like the same group of people generally takes the class, similar to a Cross Fit atmosphere but with exercises that aren't dangerous. The instructor for Tuesday night's class (John) approached me and offered to show me around since he didn't recognize me, and remembered me this morning and said he was glad I came back. I will definitely be attending their AMPD classes throughout the rest of my stay. If they had a place like this in Chicago I would definitely join, and I'll be sad to leave next week. It's hard to believe this place is a $10 a month gym (well, $20 if you want classes.) There must be 70-80 treadmills, lots of ellipticals and ample weights. It's bright and friendly. Although it's only been open a month, there is more than enough equipment at the afternoon peak. I've taken a few spin classes, which are well done and tried the Basic Training class. As a 30 minute class, my only wish is that the doors close to late comers. Too much time is wasted re-explaining the class. Overall, I'm impressed with the entire concept. They did a great job of building the place from the ground up. read more
