Mitch is very attentive and spends time explaining everything to you. He thought that I might have sleep apnea, and I did the associated testing. Sure enough my oxygen levels were falling to dangerously low levels at night. He made a sleep guard/appliance that eliminated my snoring, reduced restless sleeping and got my oxygen levels back to normal. I definitely feel refreshed in the morning and more alert during the day.

They also have 6:10pm appointments on Tuesday's which works great for my work schedule! They are also super fast. I came in for a cleaning and was out within less than an hour. From the moment I walked in, I felt I was in good hands. Dr. Abazyan took X-rays, performed a thorough examination, and clearly explained everything he found. He let me know that two of my existing fillings are still okay for now but may eventually need crowns if they fail in the future. He also found that another old filling had chipped and fallen out, allowing food to get trapped and causing my tooth pain. What impressed me most was that he was able to fix it the very same day. I didn't have to schedule another appointment or make a second trip. He took his time, made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and carefully polished the filling until everything felt just right. Now that the numbness has completely worn off, I can honestly say I'm amazed. Usually after dental work, I can always tell something was done--it feels different or uncomfortable for a while. But not this time. It honestly feels exactly like my own natural tooth. If I didn't know I had a filling done this morning, I wouldn't be able to tell at all. I'm not easily impressed, and I'm usually very hard to please when it comes to healthcare. That's exactly why I felt compelled to write this review. I had a very disappointing experience at Arroyo Dental and will not be returning…read more I came in to have crowns replaced after previous dental work had failed. Before treatment, I explained that I had been experiencing tenderness in my gums on the right side for over eight months and was concerned that replacing the crowns wouldn't solve the problem. I was repeatedly assured the pain would go away and was told it was likely from chewing on that side. When I continued expressing my concerns, the dentist dismissed me by saying I was "a sensitive woman." The pain never improved. I later saw two different periodontists, both of whom diagnosed me as needing a crown lengthening procedure and confirmed there was a legitimate reason for my pain. While saving for that procedure, I continued treatment on the left side, where I had a root canal and post buildup completed. When I returned for a temporary crown, the dentist refused to continue treatment until I completed the crown lengthening on the opposite side. I explained that I fully intended to have the procedure but simply needed time to save for it. Despite having reports from two periodontists explaining the cause of my pain, he continued to question it, telling me, "In my 30 years of practice, I've never seen anything like this." He even suggested I would probably start complaining about the left side as well, even though I had no pain there. When I tried to explain my situation, he repeatedly interrupted me, told me to "calm down," and refused to listen to what I was saying. At that point, I decided to leave and seek treatment elsewhere. To make matters worse, when I called afterward to request my dental records, the front desk employee told me he would email them to me, said "alrighty," and abruptly hung up on me. Being dismissed as "a sensitive woman" instead of having my concerns taken seriously was one of the most upsetting parts of this experience. My pain was ultimately validated by two independent periodontists. Every patient deserves to have their symptoms taken seriously and to be treated with respect--not dismissed with comments like that. I cannot recommend Arroyo Dental based on my experience.
