We had a great experience with Long and LT Driving School. He explained the DMV test procedure,…read moresimulating what would happen step-by-step. He was also pointed out the top mistakes that people make, and how to avoid them. He helped us understand what the DMV evaluators are looking for, and what will trigger an instant fail. He was also knowledgeable about the typical test routes that they take, which helped us become familiar with the roads. Of course, he also did a great job explaining things in a way that was easy to remember. Highly recommended! Note: we had previously taken three lessons (six hours) with another driving school, well known in the area. Long and LT Driving School were MUCH better!

(10 stars if I could!)…read more Passed my first try, thank you so much to Long at LT Driving School!!! My life was put on hold when I got hit by a reckless driver (a hit and run) as a pedestrian soon after moving to the Bay Area. I carried so much fear and emotional baggage around driving and honestly never imagined I'd actually be able to do it. But Long knew his stuff and taught me everything I needed to know to pass--not just how to pass the test, but how to think, see, and act like a strong driver. He's an excellent instructor: lessons tailored to me, very open to feedback, a good listener, respectful, patient, honest, and an all-around good guy. He really understands people--he could be a therapist (that's coming from a licensed therapist lols!). I cannot thank you enough, Long, for helping me get back my life (I write, as I'm holding back years' worth of tears).

(as a public service for busy and other adhd folks too impatient for fine details, i always -…read moreactually sometimes - provide the essentials in one initial paragraph. obviously do traffic school. just pick any accredited one. i had no good reason for this one, but it did say there were no time limits. so i went immediately to the final exam and passed 100% (thanks, google). now I just have to avoid getting another ticket in next 18 months.) I graduated quietly, unceremoniously from yet another educational institution, but have to admit it's a new low point for me. not one to boast but i graduated from several fine universities, well two to be exact. a third failed to bear fruit, other than the best and intended result of all: physical survival. i attended the third only until i obtained yet another hallpass from the military draft. otherwise i faced almost certain, definitely pointless death in "the nam". it wasn't needed afterall because i had just received the best draft deferment of all, based on some serious psychological testing 1-Y... "unsuitable for military service". Yahoo! this bit of personal history relates, on an entirely different but relevant topic: traffic tickets. in this regard i admit to having a sordid, wayward history of infractions and, as with military service, obfuscation and avoidance. so go ahead, sue me. now let's move on to the "backstory" the personal history the local color the frankly irrelevant part o f all my better reviews, more enjoyable for me to write but far less useful for you to read. during the course of the 70s, my decade living in manhattan, i drove a 1952 chevorlet belaire sedan. without doubt the best car ever made, its purchase price was $50 from a crusty old hudson valley apple farmer. i replaced the driver's window, repainted with rustoleum in 2-tones: robin's egg blue body with white top. together with its restored style and beauty, the vehicle proved to be near indestructible. it had been made you see, as cars were back then, of quite thick, first run (ie, not melted down recycled tin cans) steel. made in America by Americans. proof of this extraordinary sturdiness came one morning when, as i was pulling out of a parking spot on bleecker st, my car got sidewiped by a new york city garbage truck. fortunately the driver realized his error and was forthright enough to exit his truck and discuss the damage. i impressed on him that this was (in fact) an antique vehicle which i had spared no expense to restore. he agreed to state that the damage (slight dent in driver's side fender) was considerable and signed a note i had scribbled to document the date and location of the incident. the city of new york agreed to repay $500 for the damages i sustained, so i figured i was way ahead with this car. little did i know that in the ensuing years i would accumulate many times this amount in parking tickets from all around the island of manhattan. i was then, and remain today, a parking ticket scofflaw. as for the traffic ticket here, I passed the exam with perfect score, and at least for now that part of my troubles with the rules of the road and johnny law in life are history.

He is a 1 man shop, not quick to respond and its costing me in higher rates. You get what you pay for. I an sure I will get some tech bro response that we should have followed up with courts after 30 days (though it was 90 days after completion) he needs to do better. Sorry Kevin, You have given me your records and according to your data, the course was completed in June and not sent to courts until 3 months later. So yes my information is from you and what you provided, why did it take 3 months?
